This is our second winter break in the Punta del ray and we will be returning again next November. We had such a good holiday last year when we were there for a week that we booked 2 weeks this year. It did not disappoint. The staff are very helpful and friendly and nothing is too much for them. The hotel is cleaned to a very high standard from the rooms to the pool area. The staff work very hard and deserve credit for the work they do. The food is good and varied even after 2 weeks, normally after a week I would normally be bored. The only issue is that it could be hotter. The mixers and soft drinks aren’t very good but I buy my own from the supermarket as I prefer branded drinks and they are cheap to buy from the supermarket. We love the solarium and sit there most days. It’s very quiet and relaxing. We don’t go to the show bar as we prefer to sit outside but there is a show on every night and the guests seem to really enjoy them. Most of the guests return year after year and I can see why. If you are looking for a relaxing winter getaway away from the hustle and bustle of the lively resorts this is a great place to go. You have a lovely walk along the prom where there are some nice shops and restaurants.
