Hotel Ilusion Moreyo - Adults Only

Had amazing 5 day break , on arrival met the lovely Carolina at reception and all staff were lovely including the manager. Great position of hotel and hotel lovely and clean , will be back next year . Also bottle bubbly in room.as Terry's birthday which was lovely

I will start with the negative. We asked and paid extra money for a side sea view and more importantly a QUIET room. I emailed the hotel and asked prior to arriving and on arrival have we got a quiet room. We are currently in room 106. Think of it as sitting on the bridge of a motorway. Listening and watching the traffic. The room faces a very busy service road and the shops and bars. We did speak to the hotel team and the rep. Nothing could be done. The rep informed us that she had never had any negative feedback about paying extra for sea view or any of the rooms in her 10 years of working in this hotel. This was an ironic comment because four other couples were waiting to complain! The positives: The hotel is immaculate and well presented. The staff are really lovely and helpful. So far the food is delicious and plentiful. We still have several days left of our first ever visit to Majorca. I wouldn't advise anyone to pay extra money for special rooms. It's probably not worth it.

Great stay! Included breakfast and dinner which was well worth it. (And if not, u have option still to go out ) .tables both inside and outside by ocean! Clean, nice location to walk on boardwalk as well as drive to a few beautiful Cala to swim in the Mediterranean.

The location at the rear of the hotel is second to non. The sea view rooms are really lovely. Granted they are smaller than others but have everything you need for your stay. We had a leak from the floor above and we're immediately relocated to a suite. The staff at the front desk were genuinely lovely. Some of the morning breakfast staff were "surly", others were lovely, including the lovely omelette maker chef. We only had B N B, breakfast was fine, more than enough choice. There are lovely restaurants near by, we rarely go half board as we like to find tapas and Spanish restaurants when possible. The towels in the room were quite threadbare...maybe need upgrading. The beds were very comfortable. Air con was iffy...can't control lowering the temp lower than 20, which is spanish law I think. And they seem inadequate for the rooms, especially the suites. I ended up opening the patio doors as I was baking... Pool area is quiet, especially for August, plenty of beds, but most are in the shade, depending on the time of day. Shame really as the big square between the restaurant door and the tables was empty and in the sun all day....maybe some beds could.go there during the day? Over all a nice stay. I would go back on a short trip. Cannot fault the view from the rear rooms.

Just got back from 2 week in the Ilusion-Moreyo. The hotel was really lovely, and I agree with previous comments on here. The staff are great. Always willing to oblige and help where they were able. Really friendly. It makes the stay nicer. An issue one afternoon with the pool left the water cloudy. The maintenance man was on to it straight away, and by the following morning the water was crystal clear again. He did a fantastic job. The outdoor setting for the evening meals was great. You could sit under the trees, looking out over the water. Quite romantic if you're an old softie. "Front Sea View" sounds more panoramic than it actually was. "A View Of The Sea" was more accurate. My only concern was that the person we took to be the head chef in the dining room, nearly always had on the blue gloves (which is very commendable). However when he left the kitchen area and went to other parts of the hotel, he did not remove the gloves. Then after touching all of the door handles and handrails which had been touched by dozens of guests with dirty hands, he then appeared to return to his kitchen duties wearing the same gloves (not very commendable, especially for the main man). It will be easy to say that he changed into a new pair, but we never saw that happen. After saying this, I would definitely us the "Ilusion" hotels chain again. Really nice.
