"Seriously, this really got to be the best hotel in terms of value. It is only 3 mins walk to subway and 2 short stops from Shinjuku. Hotel is super clean, water temperature is good, water pressure is good, aircon is working, bed is really comfortable. Not too soft. Surrounded by local eateries and 3 convenient stores within 2 mins walk. There's a supermarket, Anytime Fitness. The bathroom even comes with a small tub which is good and clean. Gotta try their curry rice and a tempura place.
Room is small by American standards but its normal in Tokyo. Can stuff your things under the bed to make space. Comes with a fridge too. And safe box.
Housekeeping is once every 4 days. I like that because everytime I have to Housekeeping before Housekeeping comes. So once in 4 days is perfect. They will place new towels and empty trash can outside your room everyday. You just leave the dirty ones outside your room.
On top of that, there's a washing machine can dryers costs 500 yen for a wash super worth and you dont have to bring so many clothes.
I will definitely consider this hotel and I cant recommend enough to all."

"The room was small! But the lobby was incredibly grand, like a relic from the昭和 era, truly aristocratic! The check-in staff provided classic Japanese service – warm and polite!
It's a bit of a walk from the subway station, but if you're taking the bus, it's super convenient because the bus stop is right in front of the hotel!
My favorite feature was the radio by the bed in the room. The night I checked in, I tuned into a random station that was playing old Japanese songs, and every single one was so good. Listening to those Japanese songs while showering and packing made me feel like I'd traveled back to the昭和 period."

"Excellent location near the train station, several malls, and a 7-Eleven just downstairs. I initially worried the location was too quiet compared to Ginza or Shibuya, but after a three-night stay, I really appreciated how accessible yet peaceful and less touristy it was.
The TV is a smart TV, which we could use to watch YouTube and Netflix. They have their own amenities and use Refa brand shower heads!
The room is spacious enough to fit an extra sofa and a small table, totally enough for the two of us."

"My stay at the Toyoko Inn Nishikasai for 7 days was very enjoyable. This hotel has been quite well maintained and everyone was courteous. There is free water, tea, and coffee at the ground floor along with an ice machine for ice cubes. There are also vending machines for drinks and washing machines/dryers for those who want to do laundry.
It's location is also good for those who wants to visit Tokyo Disneyland (the hotel provides a complementary shuttle bus to get there). The breakfast on offer can get a little repetitive but no complaints from me. Note that they only do cleaning of the rooms once every three days. I'd recommend this property for those who want to stay in Tokyo."

"Would absolutely recommend this hotel. Staff were super friendly and all amenities catered for. You don't need to bring any toiletries with you as they're all available alongside vending machines and laundry facilities (I used these and they were fantastic)!

KkhosodaI had a wonderful stay at this hotel and was genuinely impressed by every aspect of the experience. The cleanliness was exceptional—everything from the room to the common areas was spotless and very well maintained. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, providing more than enough space to relax after a long day.
The location is another major highlight. It is very convenient and well-situated, making it easy to access nearby attractions, transportation, and restaurants. This made my stay even more enjoyable and stress-free.
The service was outstanding throughout my stay. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a warm and professional attitude. Their hospitality truly made a difference.
The food was also delicious, with a great variety of options and excellent quality. Every meal I had was satisfying and enjoyable.

I saw an airport bus tonight HND right downstairs so it is very convenient.

GGuest UserThough small, this hotel has everything you need. Its Ginza location is incredibly convenient, perfect for shopping or quickly getting to Narita Airport via the expressway.
What truly impressed me is how many features are packed into such a compact space. They have a coin-operated laundry and a large public bath. The room, which I'd estimate at about 20 square meters, even managed to fit bunk beds (1.2m/1.5m), making it very family-friendly.
A minor point is that since the hotel is directly above the subway, you occasionally feel vibrations as trains pass. This led to a funny moment when an actual earthquake hit at night, and I initially thought it was just another train going by!

FFubutianHoshinoya Tokyo is situated in a tower in Otemachi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, uniquely blending a traditional Japanese garden with a high-rise hotel concept. While its immediate surroundings are dominated by corporate offices like Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs, its location isn't as prime as other similarly priced luxury hotels such as The Peninsula Tokyo or Bulgari, with a noticeable lack of nearby dining options or convenience stores.
The service, on the other hand, truly made guests feel at home. Each floor boasts a dedicated Japanese-style common area, but the atmosphere felt a bit too rigid or rule-bound. For example, when I asked for a second welcome dessert, it wasn't possible.
However, I would strongly advise against staying here for a business trip. Firstly, the hotel's policy of not allowing unregistered guests to enter is quite inconvenient and arguably unsuitable for a business-oriented establishment. Secondly, the hotel itself offers a rich array of experiences – from its two-Michelin-starred Japanese restaurant to kimono fittings, tea ceremonies, kendo classes, hot springs, and sightseeing bicycles. These features highlight its strong appeal for leisure travel, making it less ideal for business.

MmtmlCleaning is chargeable at 1.5k yen per clean. Otherwise no cleaning whatsoever - but they do give you new towels and a trash bag daily (hung on your door knob).
Breakfast is pretty cute and homely - I liked it when I tried it at a different province, so I rebooked dormy inn.
They have a luggage scale at level 2, so very convenient if you have been shopping like crazy. The shopping street around the area is pretty interesting, and I love uneo park.
However, some pretty strange stuff during my stay:
1. They insisted on entering my room for an ”inspection” but didn't specify why. When I called to ask, they said it was a bedframe inspection. As a solo female traveler my preference is not to let random people into my room, especially if they're not going to clean after these external people enter, but reception said they couldn't wait until my stay was over a few days later. When I came back to the room, my blanket was shifted and untucked entirely from one side, and my electronics were moved around.
2. A bug appeared on my sink mirror, so I gave feedback to the hotel staff as mini bugs means there's more bugs, and suggested that they fumigate. They said ”oh... sorry” suddenly all proceeded to look away from me and pretend I didn't exist, which was super weird treatment, and very rude lol. I didn't even ask them to change my room, the point is that these bugs are likely to have infestations, and if I came back in another trip to this hotel, I would not like to see more. They didn't even bother asking me what floor I was on, so 100% they don't seem to have any intention of dealing with this. Very weird and poor behaviour - I think it was too much to expect Onyado Nono service in Dormy Inn, so I don't think I will come back.

GGuest Useremployees and amazing breakfast. They had many vegetables + yogurt + all kind of meats (I really liked the beef) - really worth it for 2100 yen per person. My only complaint is that breakfast ends quite early at 9:30.
It is very close to 2 metro lines (green and orange) so you can easily reach any place in Tokyo.
There is a non-stop 7/11 at the -1 floor (you can take the elevator and exit through the shop). It has a very easy to use and good exchange rate ATM.
The gym is like the typical hotel gym. Very small and with few dumbbells.

The hotel offers a welcome drink available anytime, and there is a separate onsen for men and women. In the evening at 6:00 PM, there is a free happy hour with drinks—perfect for alcohol lovers. My husband really loved it.
The amenities are also of good quality. If I visit Japan again, I would definitely choose to stay here—the price is very reasonable too.

유유닠_안Before my arrival, I had to change my reservation due to a personal matter, and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful in processing it. I was also very pleased that they assigned me a good bed upon check-in.
The only minor drawback was that the lockers weren't on the same floor, unlike at the Ningyocho branch, which was a bit inconvenient. Other than that, everything else was satisfactory.
