Shinagawa Prince Hotel ★★★★
"The location of the hotel was the best as it is walking distance from Shinagawa station. Room was clean and well organized . I stayed here for the second time in my single visit to Japan , and that explains that the hotel was very good."
Koko Hotel Premier Nihonbashi Hamacho ★★★★
"The room size is pretty standard for Japan. The aisle is a bit cramped, but I could still open my 26-inch suitcase. The mattress was very soft, and the duvet was incredibly warm – I think it might have been down? It's a comfort I've never experienced in a hotel before. The bathroom was very spacious, and the bathtub was big enough to lie down in comfortably. There's a Lawson and a 7-Eleven nearby, and it's also very close to the subway station. Unfortunately, there are only three washing machines, so you have to set an alarm to go down and queue for them."
Hotel Villa Fontaine Grand Haneda Airport - Directly connected to Haneda Airport Terminal 3 ★★★★
Connected by a covered walkway to Haneda Airport’s Terminal 3. With a 24/7 onsen and spacious rooms, it’s the perfect choice for transit stays and early morning flights.
Imperial Hotel, Tokyo ★★★★★
"The iconic Imperial Hotel, a landmark in Japan for over 130 years, is also the birthplace of the Japanese buffet, introduced in 1958. Its location is excellent, just a 10-minute walk from Ginza and only 3 kilometers from Tokyo Station, with the Imperial Palace also within walking distance. The breakfast selection is extensive, offering options from the 17th-floor buffet to Japanese breakfast in the basement, French cuisine, and other gourmet choices. The service is truly top-notch. While the hotel shows its age, it is incredibly well-maintained. I revisited for afternoon tea after more than a decade, and it was just as wonderful and unchanged as I remembered."
New Otani Inn Yokohama Premium ★★★★
"I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and always ready to assist with a smile, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The room was spotless, spacious, and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, ensuring a very comfortable stay. The facilities were excellent, from the relaxing atmosphere in the common areas to the well-maintained amenities. Everything felt modern and thoughtfully designed. I was also very impressed with the food — delicious, fresh, and with a good variety of options to choose from. Overall, the hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. I would definitely come back again and recommend it to friends and family."
Hotel Musse Ginza Meitetsu ★★★★
"Given its Ginza, Tokyo location, the room size is pretty standard, even if a bit small. The transportation is incredibly convenient; it's right in the Ginza shopping district with multiple subway lines just a few hundred meters' walk away. This makes it super easy to get to major attractions, Tokyo Station, and the airport. The breakfast is quite distinctive, with lots of small dishes that look great for photos. However, after staying for over a week, the menu barely changed – it was pretty much the same every day. While there was a decent variety, it wasn't enough to get completely bored. Plus, there's a convenience store right outside, which is really handy for getting cash and other essentials."
ART HOTEL Nippori Lungwood ★★★★
"The hotel is very close to the station, which makes it super convenient for getting to Ueno. There are plenty of food options nearby, and it even has a small gym, which is a nice bonus."
APA Hotel Keisei Ueno Ekimae Minami - Opening August 12 (Wed), 2026 ★★★
HOTEL GROOVE SHINJUKU, A PARKROYAL Hotel ★★★★
Spacious rooms in Shinjuku, with easy access to dining and entertainment.
