Bologna City Center
We chose this hotel because of the location just a few minutes' walk from the station but still close to the centre. It proved to be a good find. This is a quirky place, with a very narrow frontage that goes back a long way, almost to the next street. It seems to be a converted house: our twin room had a double height space right to the tiled roof, as well as two bathrooms. The single room was small. Both were adequately equipped although the location of charging points for phones wasn't ideal. The aircon worked very well. Don't expect great views (or in fact any views at all), but it's a quiet location. Unfortunately the walls are very thin so noise from adjoining rooms is a problem. They serve a decent continental breakfast and the receptionists were very helpful, even offering to refill our water bottles before we went exploring on a warm day.

Bologna City Center
Affordable hotel in the historic center of Bologna. The room has a classic style, with a parquet floor, and a modern bathroom with nice green tile to match the color of the walls in the room. The A/C works GREAT. (and we are here with hot outside temperatures.) Our room faces interior - so there is no real view, but there are automatic moveable shutters that when they are closed, block the light for sleeping, and when open, let in a lot of sunlight. The windows can open, so if coming in a cooler time of year, might be nice to let in fresh air. The room is a decent size for two (two twin beds) - for the money, I'd say it is a good deal (I have had smaller for more money in Europe). The breakfast is very nice. Hot eggs and bacon, and a variety of breads and pastries, muesli , fresh made cappuccino , cheese, meats, juices, etc. The lobby has several rooms to sit quietly - and the reception area is very nice. The front of the hotel lets out onto a pedestrian only street in the historic center - but if you take a taxi, you can be left off at the back entrance to the hotel - very convenient from the train station or airport. The staff is friendly and professional. For the price, I would most certainly recommend and would stay here again if I return to Bologna.

Bologna Fiere District
We stayed one night at Alessandro. He was really nice a helpful. He gave us good tips for the city. The city centre is close this place. I think about 15 minutes by foot. The place was super clean and quite! In the morning Alessandro prepared good breakfast - sweet and solty, coffee, juice, fruits, ham.. It was the best B&B which we visited in Italy ever. We can recommended. If you go to Bologna stay in this place! :)

The hotel's location is excellent, a stone's throw from Piazza Maggiore and via dell'Indipendenza (shopping street). Clean and well-kept rooms with modern furnishings and excellent room services (breakfast and pillow menu) Careful and very good breakfast (both salty and sweet) with the classics of traditional Emilian cuisine

Borgo Panigale
It's very close to the airport, so it's convenient to catch a plane the next day. Breakfast is very average, only cereals can be soaked in milk to satisfy hunger. Room space is good, soundproofing is not good, sneezing next door can be heard.

Borgo Panigale
The Hotel is very close to the airport and close to a bus stop to airport/central train station/city centre. 300mt far from a shopping centre. Only few steps from a restaurant/pizzeria. The staff was very friendly and gave us all the info needed. The hotel offers late check-in, they provide you with a pin cose to open the main door. We arrived before 11pm so didn’t need to use it.
