The room is good, the climbing site is good, and the food is ok. Next time you have a chance, try the camping area. It is quiet and there are few people. The entire hotel park is suitable for family outings.

Plse work out a better food system at sur house & variety and portion dont need to be sooo big- so much waste of food and not delicate fancy - all cheaply put together food- flavor inconsistent and temperature of food serve cold and not properly heat lamp or staff delivered not promptly

The employees were so excited to work at this resort. It showed on the attention to details. They made our stay very enjoyable. Overall, the resort is one of the best places to relax. For example, Ramiro, who was our waiter at lunch and at dinner, had the best suggestions for food and wine. It made the experience much more enjoyable.

We were going to cancel our trip as I broke my ankle and was in a special boot. We decided to go anyway and were happy we did The staff was very accommodating to all my needs. The hotel is the destination. There are a few things to do around Big Sur, but if you are staying here you're likely to spend most of your time in the resort. What's great? The staff, the rooms and the views are all amazing. The food is good. Why not 5 stars? The woodpeckers drove us nuts. The staff tried to shoo them away, but if you are offered room 58, think twice. The room design is awesome, but some rooms lack the absolute privacy that is expected in this price range. We've also stayed in the Post Ranch Inn across the street, and we both preferred the PRI. That said, I recommend this hotel also.

This is our 3rd year in a row that we have stayed here on points. I am a globalist, and this is one of the top properties we have stayed at. The staff is fantastic, and they remember us from past visits. The food is exceptional, and the activities are awesome too.

We spent a long weekend at Alila for our anniversary and the entire experience was excellent. From the moment we entered the property every employee we encountered wished us a happy anniversary, including the gate attendant when we first arrived. The food, amenities, and atmosphere were delightful. We aren't usually all-inclusive resort people, but we did not leave the property the entire weekend as we were enjoying ourselves so much. We will definitely be back and recommend this property to anyone.

This hotel is gorgeous. Set against the beautiful backdrop of Big Sur, it’s a luxury adults only all inclusive that is definitely worth the experience. The service was amazing and the food one of the best for an all inclusive. Many activities were included as well. The Japanese bath house and infinity hot tub are very relaxing. Happy hour and meals at the Sur House with a gorgeous view during sunset were something to look forward to every day of our stay. Highly recommend!
