The hotel is newly decorated. The front desk staff checked in quickly and handed over toothbrush sets. They were very enthusiastic. The room was clean and the lighting design was reasonable.
It is a little far from the subway, but there are two delicious restaurants nearby, one selling lamb ribs and the other selling barbecue.
Opposite the hotel is Friendship Hospital. Turn left and walk a distance to Xuanwu Hospital.
After checking out, we agreed to leave our luggage at the hotel. After playing, we asked the deliveryman to deliver it directly to the next hotel. The staff of Hanting also actively helped the deliveryman to pick up the luggage.
It is inconvenient to go out. Thank you for these kind people who silently make extra efforts.

When we go out, we pay the most attention to hygiene. It's actually OK. To be honest, the conditions are very good in this location. The surrounding is quite quiet. It's about a 10-minute walk from Hufangqiao subway station. You can also walk through a small alley with a very lively atmosphere. Although it's not close to Qianmen Street and Tiananmen Square by foot, it's only about ten minutes by bike. Riding a bike around at night is very atmospheric, much better than walking. Overall, the cost performance is good.

A 2012 renovation brought all rooms and services up to modern day scratch and guestrooms come equipped with free Wi-Fi and all the usual amenities required for a comfortable stay. Guests wishing to dine at the hotel can enjoy both Chinese and Western foods at the on-site restaurants. The hotel even has its very own theater, the Liyuan Theater, with nightly Beijing Opera performances.

The Jianguo Hotel was a very pleasant surprise. Great location in central Beijing. Shows every sign of a high quality build that is well maintained. Room was very clean. Desk staff had little English, but between smiles and the omnipotent Google translate APP, communications was never an issue.
Food in the hotel restaurants was good standard, and, like the hotel itself, great value. And having the Beijing Opera performing in the hotel each night was a big plus.
Happy to thoroughly recommend Jianguo to anyone travelling to Beijing.

Our daughter forgot her teddy bear in her room and we called back the day after our departure. We received unbelievable nice and great help from Zhang Guo Hong, front-office-supervisor. Who put a lot of effort in getting us the right email address, to send our homeaddress and ship us the teddy bear sheep. We will be thankful for ever.

The place is very central, it's 15 minutes walk from heaven temple and 1.5 hours walk through one of the main streets of Beijing to Forbidden city (or just 2 metro stops, which was very convinient). The nearest metro stations are 15 minutes walk away. The staff was very helpful and nice. They do not speak English at all, but we used translating apps, so have one on hand. The room was small, but not incomfortable. There was clean bathroom and a table. we got free upgrade as we arrived early and had an extra bed to store things on. Cleaning lady cleaned room and replaced towels every day. Overall, it was a gery good stay.

The room is clean and tidy, good, but the bathroom has a small flaw, that is, the water from the shower head is a little scattered. I hope the store can improve it and replace it with a bigger shower head. The guests will also like it and be satisfied. The customer service attitude of the service desk downstairs is super good! Satisfied! If I have the opportunity to go to Beijing again. I will stay in the parent-child room. Because I am a little regretful that I didn't stay in the parent-child room this time. All of the service staff are very helpful.
On our first day at check in, one of the male staff helped to allocate all 3 rooms to be on the same level and did early check in for us.
On our second night, another male staff helped my dad with his luggage lock issue and on our third morning this male staff helped us to make a call to the American Tourist Service Centre. The female staff helped me to set the destination address on DiDi as I’m unfamiliar.
On our last day check out, another male staff helped us with our luggages to the car.
Thank you very much for the great hospitality that made our stay very pleasurable!

Staff all were very friendly and helpful , the hotel buffet breakfast is good with lots of local food you might have a chance to try
Only to recommend select a room with window for better air flow , the last night on my stay the room was extremely hot and humid caused by the air flowing system although the hotel staff had provide extra cooling machine

The hotel's breakfast buffet offers a huge variety of cuisines ranging from Western delicacies to Chinese comfort food. The breakfast buffet opens from 7 - 10 AM.
The dinner buffet is a wonderful unforgettable luxury experience, serving hotpot, fresh Seafood and meat, and an ice cream station. The dinner buffet opens from 5:30 - 9:30 PM.
The room is very clean and looked new, the staffs are friendly and polite. Overall a wonderful experience, would definitely come back again.

We loved the thoughtful and personalized anniversary decor on the bed, cards and bubbles. A special thank you to Paolo and the team. The delicious and decadent cake we ordered from the bakery was absolutely delicious. All the staff were professional, friendly and made our experience phenomenal. The afternoon tea, cocktails and light dinner at the club were delectable and so enjoyable. Can't wait to return for another awesome staycation at The Regent.

The facilities are too old and the moisture-proofing is not very good. I booked it for two days. The first night was a split-floor room. The walls on the first floor were peeling and moldy. The second floor was better. The decoration and color matching were slightly worse. The quality needs to be improved for this price.
The second night was a bit exaggerated. My friend was one of us. The toilet door collapsed and he fell onto the bed. Fortunately, he was not on the bed at the time. This kind of safety incident is completely unacceptable at this price point.
The overall style is pretty good, the courtyard has an antique feel, and the public areas are well decorated and maintained, but I just don't understand why the rooms are so poor. We also met other tenants who were that kind of ****. We went back to the hotel and brought a bowl of tripe, but we were told that this kind of thing was brought back to the hotel. ? ? ? W T F, I wonder if staying in a room worth a thousand yuan and eating tripe will harm the image of the hotel?
