Hotels in Huilongguan/Tiantongyuan Area, Beijing

The room is spacious, the one with window is very comfortable, the one without window is not so good. It is clean and the facilities are relatively new. There is free parking space, the location of the hotel itself is very good, there are simple meals, supermarkets and convenience stores downstairs. The overall service awareness is good, and the needs can be responded quickly. The only shortcoming is that the room is not soundproof. The previous room was terrible. I could hear the sound of the wheels mopping the floor and various doors closing in the middle of the night. It was better after moving to the south, but there was still interference in the morning. Maybe it was the garbage collection in the community?

It's great. It's a newly opened hotel with a great location, convenient parking, and complete room facilities. Especially the front desk girl Liu Shuyi's polite and warm service is very good. Thank you!

I was attracted to this hotel because of the price of the rooms. When I stayed there I felt it's really comfortable so I decided to extend my stay and cancelled my next hotel. There are lots of shops for food or even for shopping. I stayed a total of 5 days there. The location is ten minutes walk from exit D3 pingxifu station, just walk straight and cross the road. A comfortable room for two even though I stayed alone.

The guy at the front desk was very nice and gave me a breakfast. The room is not too big, but it is also very clean. The air conditioning is normal, there is a small refrigerator and a smart toilet. The cup is a disposable paper cup. …When the guest room was cleaned, the used towels were not taken away, and the new cups were not placed where they should be. The breakfast was average, not much, very simple. There were many snack bars downstairs. I ate at the breakfast bar next to it the next day, which was pretty good. The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from the subway station. Forgot to take the picture.

Great hotel! Honestly, when I arrived outside of the hotel, I thought to myself the hotel would be run down, but that thought was short-lived. The service was great, the room was clean, and the decor was amazing. Not what I expected for the price I paid. This is definitely one of the better hotels I stayed at, especially for the price! There's plenty restaurants just outside and there a supermarket withing walking distance( 4mins). The only disadvantage is that it's a bit far from the city centre, but that wasn't a problem for me. There's a subway station nearby so that problem is easily fixed. Definitely recommend staying at this hotel!

The environment is okay, the location is average, the transportation is convenient, the room is comfortable and hygienic, the service staff is very enthusiastic and willing to provide all kinds of help, and the breakfast is rich. The facilities are very user-friendly, the high-speed network signal is good, and there is no scenery outside the window. The design of the small furnishings in the room is also very unique. Good value for money, I will stay here again next time.

Except for being remote, there is nothing wrong with the hotel. It opened in 2022 and is very new. The stay is still very comfortable. There is only a small shop nearby, and the corridor to the room is very far. Also, the room we booked in advance is 277 yuan a night, and the room is on the road side. We wanted to change to a room not facing the road, but the waiter refused. We had to pay an additional 70 yuan to change. It's too rigid. It's rare that we don't get a room change. I guess they think we booked too cheaply!

I give one point for the service because I came here to attend a friend's wedding. The wedding company recommended by the hotel ”made a deduction” to extort money from the newlyweds the night before the wedding. The wedding company disappeared and the company that staged the fight said they couldn't work without money. A conscientious hotel staff told me that the wedding company had used this method to extort several couples, but the hotel staff still recommended this lousy wedding company. The hotel's recommendation is to guarantee the hotel's reputation, which is not worth it. In addition, the hotel mattress is old and collapsed, and I didn't sleep well all night.

The Wyndham hotel was grand on entry as were many of the communal areas. Our room was of a good size with all the amenities, however, some of the furniture in our room was tired or needed attention, such as extra cleaning, dusting, windows needed addition wiping down and carpets also soft furniture would have benefitted from shampooing (as did the carpets in the dining and some communal areas). On occasions there was a distinct smell of smoke, near the air conditioning units also on towels, we were assured this was a non-smoking hotel. The breakfast buffet had plenty of choice (Chinese and European dishes and beverages were available) and the presentation of this was creative. We also ate at the adjacent Ramada Restaurant on a couple of occasions, the environment was pleasant and food were nicely presented and tasty. In the Wyndham Hotel there were lots of facilities and amenities such as a gym, hairdressing, swimming pool, well-being centre and grounds to explore (some needed to be paid for). There was visible cleaning and up keeping going on around the hotel and it grounds. While not many staff spoke English all members of staff at this hotel were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Members of staff who deserve recognition are: Steven W, Aurora L, Scott G, Emily L and, Bella W. Steven W, booked us into the hotel room, from the onset he was polite, helpful and remained professional throughout our stay. Steven advised us on a number of issues, Wi-fi, the hotel’s facilities, travel, local amenities and organised our taxis. No issue was a problem, of particular note was when our flight was cancelled and we needed to stay a few more days, he extended our stay duration in a calm and swift manner while we were somewhat agitated. Emily L, was friendly, polite, efficient and resourceful. Emily cleaned our room to script and kept it tidy, neat and replenished used items, she was quick to resolve problems, such as the lighting, faulty curtain rails and other issues. Scott G, offered additional advice and guidance on room booking and reservations. It was Steven W, who referred us to Scott. Aurora L, solved our internet access and, accommodation issues. Bella W, was particularly helpful and resourceful in organising our taxi to the airport when the taxi firm at the last minute decided not accept cash. Overall, the Wyndham Hotel North Beijing was a very pleasant experience and we would stay there again! Yvonne / UK
