Find the Cheap Barakaldo Hotels

The hotel is situated between a motorway on the back and a busy road in front of the hotel. The windows in the rooms have good noise insulation, however, if you will find it difficult to sleep with open windows due to the excess traffic noise, which I had to since the air-conditioning is reportedly only operative during “summer” times, even though the rooms were blistering hot due to sunshine and 25 °C temperature outside. Breakfast starts at 7 o’clock, which is rather late, and a lot of craftsmen and other business travelers were already queuing up before 7 o’clock. The breakfast buffet is good; however, the scrambled egg is served cold in a bowl without heating ☹ I had to extend my stay with two extra days, however, the two complementary bottles of water in the room were not replenished; I was told only two bottles of water were provided regardless of length of stay and that I could just drink tap water, which is O.K. if you like the taste of chlorine ☹ Beware that parking in the hotel’s parking cellar is quite expensive and they don’t advertise the price on the website. The staff were friendly and English their speaking skills satisfactory.

We stayed one night in this hotel on the way to the Ferry to Ireland. There is secure underground parking (at extra cost) which we found useful. However, we were disappointed when, having arrived at 3.45 pm in Bilbao after an 8 hour drive in 30 degrees+ we were told that there was no facility for any drinks or refreshments in the Hotel and that such facilities would not be available until 7.30pm. We were further disappointed to find that when we came for breakfast the following morning, there was no coffee, bread or other basic food. We had to ask a member of staff to obtain some basic provisions for breakfast which seemed to confuse him. We noticed that at least four other guests who came after us also had little to eat. We gained the impression (right or wrong) that the hotel is not geared to accommodating foreign guests as after an initial early breakfast rush there seemed little interest in guests coming later. We particularly noted the lack of staff on the ground and everything seemed to be the responsibility of one staff member.

The truth seemed to me very uncomfortable to have to go to the other building to register****, as well as they could make a entry and not have to turn around. I don't know what it was but there was something that was to noise, I don't know if it was the air conditioning (it is supposed to be shut off), in addition to the noise of the wicker, it was heard the noise of the fault. The small towels. The lift was very noisy when he opened the doors or stood on the floor (fortunately I was far from the lift). The cafeteria was very good, even the servant offered me a stick to not burn with what I was carrying, as I said I had to go to the other building. Second time staying here - ready for the ferry back to UK. Basic accommodation but clean - no tea/coffee making facilities so good job I had the travel kettle with me for the morning cup of tea. Free parking and fuel station next door to fill up the tank before the final leg of journey! Staff friendly / bar area ok and light meals / snacks offered. There is a shopping mall within walking distance and also a games centre that has food outlets if you don’t fancy the hotel menu. Good location for the ferry - 5 to 10 mins in the car straight down the motorway (when you work out how to get on it !! - bit confusing).

Bedroom with double room for single use and private bathroom. Excellent cleaning, very good bed quite above the category of membership, very good and careful reception girl and gave me very useful information for the stay and how to move. In spite of the distance from the city center there is a fabulous 50-metre train from the structure that brings you to the city center in 14 minutes! Two bus lines at 200 metres (20/30 minutes to reach the nervous points). The Metro stop is inaccessible because it is beyond the river, so the news reported is wrong! Quality ratio /prezzo excellent. You can want breakfast because there is a small kitchen in common. Very satisfied!

A lovely hotel close the airport in a small town with a couple of bars. The bus stops directly outside for the 15 min ride into Bilbao. My room was a double and it was very comfortable. The aircon didn't work so it was pretty hot. I was with two friends and only one of us had Aircon. The single room. The hotel had a bar but no restaurant you could only have very basic pizzas. It's good value if you want to stay near the airport or be close to Bilbao without the extortionate hotel prices there.

Apartamentos justitos para dos personas, muebles muy nuevos, pocos enseres de cocina. Lo único negativo fue la limpieza del apartamento, solo una PASADA rápida y ya. Pero todo lo demás aceptable, jente muy amable.
