I'd give the hotel a 5 star rating if it weren't for the horrific experience checking in. The woman was beyond rude-sarcastic, insulting, demeaning. I have never (thank goodness) been treated in such an unacceptable manner. I got the card for the GM's email and sent in detail my experience. To date-I've not heard a response. If it was received, another layer of disappointment. If it went to spam that's understandable. I'm happy to relate this to management-if they're interested. The hotel itself is a bit dated. But we found it clean, comfortable and quiet. The evening social was a complete dinner-meatloaf, mashed potatoes, corn, salad, rolls and wine or beer. It was delicious! Breakfast the next morning was good as well. Freshly made breakfast sandwiches, yogurt parfaits, etc. I commend the hardworking kitchen staff for their work. Other reviews mentioned a negative location. We did not find this to be true. A few miles from the freeway and off a main road. We felt as safe as one can be. Again-the rating would be much higher if not for one individual who made quite a negative impression. Sad.

Hear is a copy of my email to the manager January 15, 2022 that has not been answered to date “With regards to our stay for one night on Friday, January 14, 2022. We have several concerns about your hotel. Upon check-in we saw on your doors that all patrons entering your establishment must wear masks in public areas. We immediately witnessed one couple who were returning to their room walk straight through the lobby to the elevator and up to and back from their third floor room maskless. Not one staff member asked or approached them to put on a mask. To continue on that I just went down at 830 to get a coffee and three young adults with one child exited the elevator with no masks in sight. It looked as if they had just checked in. This is the laxist hotel in the three we have stayed in on our trip. MASKS ARE MANDATORY IN PUBLIC PLACES your sign says. Secondly, we don’t understand why when occupancy rates are so low you put guests at the back of your property regardless of how the reservation is booked. We booked through Expedia (to redeem credit card points) but would gather if we booked through my IHG membership we would have received a better room facing the front of the property. At the very least a disclosure should be given that there will be train and loud horn blast noise during the night so guests can decide to change rooms then and there. A train went by at 1045 pm and again at 300 am. We may have heard it at the front but not to the same loudness as at the back. It was dreadful. Thirdly, at approximately 230am in the morning an obnoxious guest in a red pick-up truck started their vehicle and sat there for ten minutes blasting extremely loud music that woke us from our sleep. (This is the same vehicle that checked in around 600 pm and played the same loud music for all to hear while they unpacked and entered the building….)They then left and returned some 15 minutes later and the same thing….I called the front desk on both occasions to report but nobody picked up the call. Then at about 430 am the owners of the same vehicle kept unlocking and locking their vehicle with their fob for another annoying 10-15 minutes….This all occurred in YOUR parking lot. Where is your sense of responsibility you owe your guests? May I also suggest that your coffee station be made available 24/7 outside the breakfast area by the front desk. It wasn’t a COvID distancing friendly time. Too many people bunched around. For those who just want a coffee having to line up in the breakfast line and wait until the end to get coffee is wrong. This was the worst night’s sleep we have ever had in a hotel. We feel exhausted for our drive to Palm Springs and feel we wasted points on this uncomfortable experience. We await your reply. Room 330

I will start my review by saying most of the Staff was very courteous and accommodating. I was impressed by the outward appearance of the Hotel and the front desk area. Cons It pains me to have to list the cons with this Hotel because I don't ever like leaving a bad review that said, I am going to address a few issues in hopes that someone in charge will see this review and initiate some changes. First after we checked into the room, I went in the restroom to blow my nose and to my surprise there was NO Kleenex or any other type of bathroom tissues in the tissue holder on top of the bathroom counter. Though it was an inconvenience, I didn't think it was too big a deal so I grabbed some toilet tissue. I then proceeded to unpack some of my things to get a shower and noticed that there were NO washcloths left where the bath towels were located under the sink! Luckily, I had a couple with me in my luggage so me and my girl used those to clean with when we showered. that was very disappointing the say the least. Just imagine if we didn't have washcloths! Now to my third issue.....Clean, mold and mildew ”FREE” bathrooms are HUGE for me because mold and mildew that can be a health issue and secondly, it makes the shower look unclean and unsightly. Not a good look at all especially for the price of a Hyatt Regency! I took pictures of the mildew and it was gross. Bleach or some type of Industrial cleaner would work wonders. And of course last but definitely no least, my lady saw a young lady named Crystal in the restaurant are who was carrying some glasses around in a glass carriage and asked ”Crystal” if she could grab a glass and said that ”Crystal” rolled her eyes at my girl because she about the glass. How rude! We are very respectful people and harbor ill will toward no one. I am sorry but it is because of the issues listed about I gave the review that I did. Respectfully Kevin

Hotel facilities and environment are ok. However, after checking out, the credit card was inexplicably deducted. After communication, the hotel admitted that it was a misoperation, and then it continued to deduct, up to five times before and after. There are three more refunds after leaving for more than a week, and coordination is continuing.

We stayed here for three nights, on a trip with our two service dogs. We reserved our room two months ago because we had planned on going to a drag boat reunion, which ended up being canceled due to the pandemic, not a big deal. We arrived, and paid the 100 dollar deposit, which I paid in cash, but the front desk lady was rude and said that she wanted a newer 100 dollar bill instead of the one that i handed her, which wasn't damaged, it just wasn't new. Other than that, check-in was easy. We reserved a handicap room, but when we got in, the room wasn't clean, towels were dirty, and handicap rooms never use bath tubs, they are usually equipped with a walk in shower. Size of the room was decent for the money. But every night, there were some VERY questionable people in the parking lot, and a homeless man living in his car in their parking lot. When I brought it to the management attention, they said they felt bad for the guy,and don't get me wrong, I feel for these people, but they shouldn't allow homeless to camp in their parking lot. Secondly, all three nights, there were people walking the halls ALL NIGHT long, having unauthorized guests in their rooms, etc. But at the front desk when checking in, they make it clear that NO visitors are allowed, etc. We barely slept due to the constant commotion of people going in and out of the rooms .....lastly when we checked out we left at 6am, but they said we would have to come back at 930am to get our deposit back, but we couldn't stay that long!!! Basically their reception employees are rude, and don't apply their rules of no visitors, they don't care about your safety, they don't adhere to handicapped accessible guidelines, and they need to train their maids to do a better cleaning job, especially when there's a pandemic going on right now. My advice, stay in a motel 6, pay a little bit more per night and stay in a nicer place

GGuest UserI booked a two-night stay through TripAdvisor at the Hampton Inn when I arrived before I checked in, I looked on my phone dispatch app and noticed that the two-day stay had been changed to a five hour stay the staff at Hampton Inn accommodated and adjusted my stay to reflect the time that I had before loading the truck, I explained this to the staff at TripAdvisor and they also were very professional and adjusted my stay from a two night into a one night stay, and refunded back to my account in about twelve hours. I will book again through TripAdvisor, very people orientated. Adolph,W.
This is a pretty new hotel. The room was large and comfortable. The staff was helpful - I had driven over 10 hours to get there and was a bit forgetful checking in but they got me through it. The hotel is across the street from a good brewery with great food. Just what I needed to rest up for another day of travel.
@@ChrissonyThis hotel is quiet! Except in the daytime when the families are enjoying the awesome pool!!! (Not a complaint btw) there are two separate buildings of rooms separated by a bridge running over mill creek. The office lady we got today was AMAZING!!!
LleagentxThis Residence Inn is absolutely one of the cleanest hotels around. Every part of the room was cleaned with care. Seriously, the cleaning staff deserves a raise. Every employee that I passed by said hello or asked if I needed anything. The staff were so kind, helpful and funny. Some of those that deserve recognition are Bella, Desiree, Marijane, Fortino, Dennis and Carlos, that made my stay better. Ex: asking if I needed help carrying my luggage down from the upper level. Of course, being a RI, there's the usual breakfast, some popcorn or cookies throughout the day The hotel is conveniently located off the freeway. Close walk or short drive to many places to eat. Across the street is an AMC theatre and a grocery store.
XXIALITraffic is really convenient for self-driving. Safety is also good, the environment is clean. The open-plan twin bed is practical and affordable for parent-child family homes. There are coffee and small tarts and biscuits on the palate. For mainlanders who are not used to Western food, it is best to bring an electric kettle to instant noodles and eat comfortably. With kitchen facilities, it is very affordable to bring your own kitchen utensils, it is recommended
GGuest UserThis the second time that I booked this hotel in my way back to home. Unfortunately this time the room didn’t have fridge although it was mentioned in the booking and one of the comforters had stain on it. The staff was great and friendly as before
DDoug GOn November 13, 2019, I was literally kicked out of the Sleep Inn & Suites! The Manager knocked on my door and said I stained a towel and would have to come down to the desk and leave a deposit. I said “fine”. She said, “ right now” and attempted to barge into my room. So much for the right of quiet enjoyment. I went down to the front desk and asked to see the charge for the towel. She gave me the list, I looked at it, put the list back on the desk, and gave her my credit card. Then, she threw my card on the floor and told me to get out! I said “ you are kicking me out?” She said yes. I packed up my stuff and left. She did this in front of other guests at the front desk. Is this how they treat Diamond Members?! I stayed in Choice Hotels over 140 nights during the past 12 months. She kicked me out for staining a towel, which can be washed, and which I gave her my card for deposit and she refused it. I then called Corporate Customer Relations and am waiting to see how they are going to resolve this matter. Meanwhile, DO NOT stay at the Sleep Inn & Suites on Knudsen Ave in Bakersfield, CA, unless you want your room barged into and treated like a second class citizen.
Tiffany at the front desk was awesome! We wanted a bottom floor king room, but she only had queens available on the bottom floor. I had read some mixed reviews on here so asked to see the room before committing. She let me take a peek, then by the time I got back to the counter she had found us an available king room she said she would let us have for the same price as the queen which was a great bargain at $74/night! The room was clean, and spacious, bed comfortable and quiet enough for a good night’s sleep. The breakfast available at the inn was sparse, consisting only of cereal, self-serve waffles and coffee or orange juice, but for the price of the room, I’m not complaining! There’s a Denny’s directly in front of the inn, very convenient for a quick bite or full breakfast. This motel offers very good value and is great for anyone just travelling through, or those on a tight budget,
GGuest UserMotel 6 is reliable. They really are the same no matter the city in the USA. Affordable and meets the needs for a quick overnight stay. Beds comfortable and there was AC. Lobby is locked during night time so you speak through plexiglass and a drawer. Safety first - area is questionable according to other reviews. I didn’t feel unsafe and a solo female, however, the room’s lock could use a second look. There were insects but I heard this is common during the warm weather. No bed bugs for those concerned. There was a box outside for trash that had an ant party and there was a swarm of bees near the stairs. However the motel could get rid of these issues rather easily. Parking was available and my car was fine parked there through the night.
