Premier Hotel -Cabin- Asahikawa

The room is very small, and so is the bed, but everything else is OK. The breakfast is especially worthy of praise, it is really good, the fish and beef are very fresh, which is rare. Asahikawa Station is no problem as a transfer to Furano Biei, the surrounding scenery is great, and the hotel location is quite convenient. It is recommended to book a larger room if you are traveling with children.

I visited in the winter to become minus 20 ℃. I used a room with a bunk bed by myself. The air conditioner is on, but the upper bunk bed is hot and the lower is cold. I slept on the upper stage at first because the air didn't circulate well, but it was hot and I decided to use the lower stage. Also, the walls seemed thin, and I could hear the tweets in the next room. The women's shower was a password type, so I was able to use it with peace of mind. However, it was close to the station and the simple breakfast and night ramen were very good.

I’m very surprised by the relatively low rating of this hotel. We had a very good experience here, and found the room to be spacious and comfortable (though fairly typical old-school Japanese hotel). Service was good overall and the breakfast was delicious. The hotel is located in the best part of Asahikawa, near the main train station and the very cool and fun shopping street. The hotel also has an outdoor parking lot located immediately behind the hotel. Our only hiccup was that we arrived slightly before the 1500 check in time (we arrived at 1440) and were told we had to wait until exactly 1500 to check in. This is Japan and I appreciate being a stickler for the rules, but sometimes good customer service is about making calculated exceptions. Maybe next time. We would certainly recommend this place to others.
