I stayed 2 nights with my husband and wife to meet my friend in Asahikawa. It was very good, so I think I will be here next time I come. First of all, it is good to have a hot spring bath. This time it was summer, but if it was a winter snow season, I would like to thank you for the bath. It is very good to be able to sleep slowly in the public bath, not the unit bus in the room. The large bath was large and there were many washing places, and it was very comfortable. I was able to experience it this time with a ticket for rock bath. It was crowded on weekends, couples in semi-double rooms 2 names and less 々 narrow, but still, the compact room was easy to use, there was no trouble, The breakfast venue was comfortable to sit immediately without waiting. The breakfast was delicious. I go to the country and stay once, ah, this is good If you think, you will always stay there, but this hotel is exactly that hotel. The response of the employees was very pleasant. I would like to stay next time.

I’m very surprised by the relatively low rating of this hotel. We had a very good experience here, and found the room to be spacious and comfortable (though fairly typical old-school Japanese hotel). Service was good overall and the breakfast was delicious. The hotel is located in the best part of Asahikawa, near the main train station and the very cool and fun shopping street. The hotel also has an outdoor parking lot located immediately behind the hotel. Our only hiccup was that we arrived slightly before the 1500 check in time (we arrived at 1440) and were told we had to wait until exactly 1500 to check in. This is Japan and I appreciate being a stickler for the rules, but sometimes good customer service is about making calculated exceptions. Maybe next time. We would certainly recommend this place to others.

A little walk from Asahikawa station and away from downtown, there are some difficulties in the location. However, I thought the service was good for that amount. There was a welcome drink and a bar and I drank red wine in the barrel, but I think you can enjoy it until you get drunk. The room was a bit old type and I wanted to make the lighting a little dark when I went to bed, but it was not a type that could be operated, but I turned off the lighting in the room and turned on the lighting in the bathroom and opened the door and went to bed. The pillow was nice and I could sleep well. It is good to be able to watch BS TV and watch professional baseball broadcasting. There are many hotels where BS broadcasting cannot be seen. I searched for a hotel including this hotel with the intention of staying in Asahikawa to see the autumn leaves of the snowy mountains in September, but the price is rising everywhere. I thought I couldn't stay at the desired price anymore. But I think this can't be helped. Breakfast is free, but I will try not to eat breakfast in the future. Color 々 I'm worried that something that I didn't intend to be offered as a menu because it's impossible somewhere as the price goes up. Asahikawa has an ion at the station and has a rich side dish menu and is convenient.

We had some problems getting to the hotel, as Google maps insisted on pointing us to another deserted building down the street (which also had a sign Takasago onsen). Once we got in, it turned out nobody at the reception spoke any English, luckily one of the other guests who was just checking in volunteered to interpret. It turned out that they wanted to notify us that the AC in our room was broken (it was 35 degrees outside). After refusing to accept that room, they gave us another room with a working AC. The hotel itself is very similar to other big spa hotels we stayed in, reasonably comfortable rooms, big buffet meals, but the quality of the food was so so, but the highlight of the place was the onsen, with about 10 inside pools and a nice outside jacuzzi. I guess that was the big attraction for all the tourist groups.

We wanted to hike to Mt. Asahidake during the Koyo (Fall foliage) season, and among the properties at the base of the mountain, La Vista Daisetsuzan appeared to be the highest end accommodation in the area. Both the outside and inside of the lodge are charming and rustic in appearance, but are definitely showing clear signs of age and wear. In fact, while taking a dip in the communal Onsen (natural hot springs) bath, I overheard two men remarking how the place was ”boro boro” (Japanese for ”really worn down.”) Thankfully, we were relieved to find that La Vista Daisetsuzan was at least quite clean, and did not exhibit the old, moldy smell that is commonplace in older properties. And the dining room seems to have been renovated - we enjoyed our dinner here (more on that in a moment.) We stayed in their ”Luxury Room,” the highest category unit that was a relatively spacious 56m² open-plan Junior Suite. Other rooms on premises are quite a bit smaller, but people used to staying in standard rooms at Marriott-class properties will be more than satisfied with these room types. La Vista Daisetsuzan has a communal, gender-segregated Onsen on site - there is both an indoor and open-air outdoor bath, which is appreciated, especially in the Winter months, given that you'll want to warm up in the indoor bath before jumping into the outdoor one. While we did not have breakfast at the property (we wanted to get an early start on our hike, and we're glad that we did - the sky is more clear and there are less crowds), we had the French-Japanese dinner. To say that the meal exceeded our expectations would be an understatement. We're in Hokkaido, and an hour from the nearest city (Asahikawa), yet every dish was creative, beautifully presented and a feast for the eyes and palate. Everything - from the tuna tartare to the mini quiche to the Foie Gras to the al dente pasta with mushrooms and broccoli - was a highlight. The only serving that did not hit the spot was the main (ocean-) fish dish. The fish was hard and dry - when you're in the center of Hokkaido, perhaps they should focus on other ingredients, or at least serve fish that are fine frozen (like Tuna) or that come from the nearby rivers or lakes. Overall, if we were to make a return trip to the area, we would be more than fine with staying again at La Vista Daisetsuzan. In no way is this a destination unto itself, but if our short but pleasant stay is any indication, it's a very solid higher-end option in Daisetsuzan. It definitely blows away the vast majority of lodges in U.S. National Parks, that's for sure!

Get off at the hot spring entrance and cross the road. Returning to the opposite side of the road, you can also ask the hotel to send to the departure station. Very old spa hotel, the room is generally clean and tidy, there is nothing to Tao, Japanese style bed is made of rubber mattress praise! Dinner and breakfast are Japanese, and the season is not right, I don’t have the legendary honeydew melon, but the sugared tomato fried chicken is delicious! Feeding and feeding! Dessert homemade pudding is also delicious for fried chicken! ! Breakfast is a semi-self-service offering fresh egg bibimbap and natto, as well as vegetables. Yuantang must go to the bubble, and the steaming bubble is exhausted. The open-air hot springs of the museum are not open to the public in the winter. The service is super good, and I offered to send us to the cable car station. It is all the Japanese. Only one little brother speaks English.

NNeuy.LawVery convenient location, connected to JR Asahikawa. However room is small, if you have more than one big luggage and it will be quite challenging to open all the luggage at the same time. There is a big sitting area at the lobby where you can enjoy complimentary coffee and tea, next to it is a small library.
AAnonymous UserThis hotel just have 2 washing machines and these machines are located inside the public bath which may be inappropriate for foreign guests who do not use public baths.
There are no hooks for towels nor retractable clothes line inside the bathroom.
BBOVery general, the price is not high. First of all, there is no restaurant nearby. We don’t know which predecessor said that the store will produce delicious soba noodles. ! Secondly, the sound insulation is particularly bad, plus we stayed in the next night, 12 young men (the names on the doors of both rooms, I counted, one six, add up to twelve) and sipped at two in the morning. Drunk, open a party in the room. I am angered, directly slammed the door, the Chinese, English and Japanese three words together, went downstairs to call the doorkeeper uncle. Finally, I can't communicate. The front desk and I also hold the same kind of translation, and talk to each other.
GGuest UserI originally liked route inn the most in the business hotel chain. If you are traveling alone, you don't have to be so careful. Japan is grateful that clean business hotels are developing to medium-sized cities. However, in Honshu, route-in is often difficult to use by rail (car location), but in Hokkaido, route-in is often in front of the station, so it is easy to use. When you leave Asahikawa Station, which creates a comfortable space with plenty of trees, you can't get lost because the route in front of Grand Asahikawa Station rises in front of you. On the left side of the station, there is also an AEON MALL equipped with a cinema complex, so you can enjoy buying souvenirs, buying travel supplies, and watching road show movies on your travels. The good thing about the route inn is that you can watch paid satellite broadcast WOWOW for free on the TV in the room. The front desk is on the 3rd floor. It is not open 24 hours on the first floor (business hours 7:00 ~ 22:00, closed on January 1), but there is a convenience store ”Seiko Mart” with many supporters in Hokkaido. The lobby on the front floor is very large. After checking out, I adjusted the time here because I had a little time to get on the train. Isn't it convenient to meet in Asahikawa, which is exceptionally cold in winter? People may have different tastes, but I can sleep well in the route-in bed. I think it's because it's not fluffy. It depends on the location of the room, but from the room I stayed, I could see the train departing and arriving at Asahikawa Station. There is Tenjinkyo natural hot spring ”Traveler's Hot Spring” on the 17th floor of the top floor. The big bath stretches your legs and heals the fatigue of the trip. I entered twice at night and in the morning. The hotel has a large communal bath of another major hotel chain in Hokkaido, and the rooms have only a r shower booth, but it is also good to have a bathroom with a bathtub properly. It's not a special luxury hotel, but I think it's the best hotel as a business hotel. I think it can be used for business, sightseeing and multipurpose purposes. Next time, if you have a chance to come to Asahikawa, this is the hotel you want to choose first.
GGuest UserThis hotel is excellent! It’s located very close to Aeon and the station, making it super convenient. The spacious common lounge is a great spot to relax, and they offer a special welcome drink in the afternoon. The breakfast here is outstanding – both in quality and taste, it’s truly exceptional.
What I didn’t like is that the sink is oddly placed at the foot of the bed, which feels a bit awkward.
SSiti Nor AmirahExcellent hotel. Very clean, comfortable. Although the room is a bit small but is good enough for me. Staff is very nice and able to speak in english. Very near to Asahikawa station and there is Aeon mall right in front of the hotel. Definitely will be staying here again the next time im going to asahikawa!
JJürganManaged to get to the hotel at 10:30 and grabbed some free ramen. Enjoyed some nice time in the onsen and had ice cream after. Had some yoghurt in the morning before leaving. My favourite hotel.
AAepoOverall, it's good. The location is very good. You can definitely walk to Asahikawa Station in 5 minutes. It's very convenient to go shopping next to AEON. There's nothing to say about the price. It's worth it.
JJAEYOUNGWe also enjoyed the free light breakfast (7:00-8:30) and the drink service. The exterior of the building was poorly maintained, but the facilities inside were not affected at all and were good facilities. We stayed in two double beds for two people, so we were very comfortable for three nights.
HHappiness807510It is a little far from the station, so it is convenient to move by car. However, there is no parking lot in the hotel, and it is no problem because it stops in the parking lot nearby and ticket processing is done. There is also a supermarket about 5 minutes walk.
