Lots of ambience with the plants and rock walls although it is kind of dark. There is a nice patio where they serve breakfast or you can meet your traveling companions for a BYOB happy hour. However, there is a lot of loud late night noise with booming base from a neighboring disco. It might even share a wall with the hotel. Forget being able to sleep before 11pm. No fans, no A/C to help knock out the very irritating thumping, even ear plugs don't work because you feel the music, only windows to the interior courtyard where the other guests can walk by your room and look in, even reach into your room. I felt vulnerable. Not my favorite place but after a few days I got used to it and knew what to expect so I felt more comfortable, although I would not go back. The front desk help was friendly but not really accommodating. I liked the Hotel Aurora much better.
