Service of Novotel is not stable… some times you get good service some times not… After a while out of town, I stayed in Novotel for one night again. I called for more water after check in as I knew myself I could finish 1L of water in 2 hours. When the house keeper came, he asked me for the empty bottle with which they used to fill in water before he could give me new one with water. I understand some ppl might wanna take their bottle but come on! If that’s the concern of the hotel, ask the guest for deposit for the bottle then! If anyone ever take it, deduct the money from the deposit. It is no sense to “protect the environment” while keeping your guests thirsty! And it would also rise concerns for me how these bottles are being cleaned?! Stupid!

The staff is exceptional. We loved staying here and would definitely consider coming again. The hotel is good. Definitely above average but little things like the lack of glassware is a bit of a downer.

We have been to many hotels in Abu Dhabi and I must say that Marriott Downtown is byfar our favorite and have been going there everytime we go to Abu Dhabi now. They have great food, attentive and curtious staff. From the housekeeping to the restaurants and to the Lounge! Miss George, Osama, Michelle, Christian, too bad I cannot name everyone here! Can't wait to go back:-)

I stayed for one night with my partner really like the ambience of the hotel it's budget friendly. Would like to give special thanks to Nishi at front desk who upgraded our room, at first we were given a small room with no view which didn't like. Later he changed our room which was huge the washroom was big like a room with walk in shower and bathtub both along with tea coffee amenities water bottles ad full set of bath amenities. Only thing was bit challenging to find a cab in the location.. it is in the outskirts little. The pool is big and with nice restaurant which also serves shisha. Would love to visit again after summer.

We chose this hotel at the last hour on our scale in Abu Dabi because we couldn't advance our flight; in addition to not getting a cheaper hotel closer to the airport. The facilities of the pool and the gym, smells of moisture and sweat, I just went to visit them and turned with it. It's all very negligent. out all my hotel stays in abu dhabi/dubai, this is my fav! the staff are so welcoming and friendly without being too robotic and templatey. thanks so much for making my stay good even before my check in! really made a difference to my trip! special shoutout to the front desk lady who accommodated me so well and annesulli(?) at breakfast for making things at ease

The room is large, but the decoration is old-fashioned. There are multiple security access control measures, which is quite safe. It's just that the windows are not very soundproof, the noise is relatively loud, and the quilt is made of two sheets, not a complete quilt.

Great friendly welcoming experience. Highly recommended. All staff have been very supportive. Felt very safe. Great location with the mall attached to the hotel. The masjid is also close by. Great food options and activities within proximity.

We booked two twin rooms for 3 nights, however they cannot find two rooms from their system. After clarifying for a long time, they managed to give us the rooms. That maybe due to a communication problem between the hotel and trip.com. Anyways the rooms are clean. There is a rooftop pool. Lifeguard is friendly and helpful. If the rooms are too dark, it would be perfect if they could be brighter.
