"I chose this hotel for my trip to Wenzhou this time, and the overall stay far exceeded my expectations. The location is excellent; I could walk to Wuma Street, making it super convenient for shopping and trying local snacks. It’s quiet despite being in a bustling area, so sleeping at night was peaceful.
Check-in was very efficient, and the front desk staff were gentle and polite, responding quickly to any questions. The room was spotlessly clean with no strange odors. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the mattress had just the right firmness, making it incredibly relaxing after a long day of exploring. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, plenty of hot water, and a full set of toiletries.
The hotel environment was tidy, and the public areas were well-maintained. Overall, the value for money is great, and staying here made my trip very easy and stress-free. I highly recommend it for both tourists and those on short trips, and I'll definitely choose it again next time I visit Wenzhou!"

"The hotel is located on a mountain. After checking in at the lobby, we had to transfer from a shuttle bus to an electric cart to reach our room. Our butler, Jason, had already upgraded our room, and the moment we stepped in, the view was absolutely stunning. The room itself was spacious and bright. The hotel environment is serene, upscale, and grand. Throughout our stay, Jason was attentive and thoughtful, always available when we called. The only downside was the hotel's gym equipment, which was rudimentary, with just one treadmill, one stationary bike, and a few dumbbells. This really doesn't align with a high-end hotel."

"The hotel is very close to the North Gate of Shenxianju Scenic Area. We entered from the South Gate and exited from the South Gate, so on our second day, we checked out early and drove to the South Gate, which took about 10 minutes. There are many local restaurants near the hotel, and the hotel also has its own restaurant. We arrived on the first evening and didn't feel like going out, so we ate at the hotel. The prices were reasonable, and the service was excellent.
The hotel is quite large; we even saw a local middle school having their military training meal there, which shows the hotel's capacity.
The room was spacious and very clean. The tissues really impressed me – they were thick and good quality.
The hotel's breakfast was extensive. The freshly made mini wontons at the noodle station were delicious, and there was a great variety of toppings for the noodles.
We also received welcome fruit, which was of excellent quality. The oranges were very sweet.
The service attitude was very good."

"Traveling with kids was so easy and stress-free. A big thank you to our thoughtful butler, Xingzi, who warmly welcomed us, helped us check in, and even escorted us back to our room. She also thoroughly explained all the important tips for the cable car and various scenic spots. In the morning, we explored Yunshang Grassland, and in the afternoon, we planned to go rafting. We didn't even have to go to the front desk to pick up tickets; Xingzi proactively delivered both the tickets and room cards to our room, which saved us so much hassle. Knowing our child was going rafting, she even kindly prepared water guns, and our little one had an absolute blast! The entire experience was fantastic from start to finish!"

My parents have mobility issues and are elderly, so we booked a villa. It had underfloor heating and air conditioning, but their sleeping room was upstairs, which was a bit inconvenient for them as they had to climb stairs. There was a hot spring pool in the courtyard, and the butler even lit a bonfire and set out candles. The butler service was excellent; they responded immediately when called upon in the group chat. They also provided shuttle service to a nearby Tujia restaurant, which was very thoughtful. The scenery around the hotel was beautiful, but the nearby amusement park was a bit noisy. They offered complimentary afternoon tea every day 👍. The breakfast selection was a bit limited, and the bathroom facilities weren't as spacious or convenient as the hotel's. Overall, we were satisfied; the service and scenery were good. The restaurant's dinner was delicious, specializing in fine dining, but the portions were a bit small. For a large family, the fried rice we ordered was only enough for five people, so we ordered another serving. We ate two dinners, ordering different dishes, and none of them were bad; everything tasted great, and we were very satisfied. It would be best if future meals offered small, medium, and large portion sizes so that different groups could choose the appropriate portion. Overall, we were very satisfied and recommend it. The housekeeper said they're opening a new store this year, which won't be as noisy as this place. I'm looking forward to it.

We recently stayed at Xianhua Sandalwood International Hotel during the national holiday in China, and overall, our experience was quite enjoyable. Here’s a breakdown of our stay:
**Location: 浦江仙华檀宫国际度假酒店
**Check-In Experience:**
We arrived at Xianhua Sandalwood International Hotel and the check-in process was smooth and efficient. The staff greeted us warmly and provided all the necessary information about our stay. However, the English was limited, but at least it was smooth and no hassles.
**Room Comfort:**
Our room was spacious and well-appointed. We appreciated the comfortable king sized bed, view, huge bathtub, cleanliness, and spaciousness. However, as a coffee lover, there was only one serving of coffee, so when we woke up the next morning I was quite upset that only myself was able to enjoy an early morning coffee. Nevertheless, it was perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing.
**Facilities:**
The hotel offered various facilities that enhanced our stay. We particularly enjoyed facilities like a fitness center, indoor pool, hot springs, table tennis and the pool table. The breakfast buffet was delightful, offering a mix of local and international cuisine.
**Service:**
The staff was exceptional. They were always available and eager to assist with any requests. Their friendly approach made our stay even more pleasant. The front desk manager Kang was super friendly and arranged for the coffee bar to open earlier the day we checked out.
**Room for Improvement:**
While our overall experience was positive, there were a couple of areas for improvement. We traveled with our 7 month old daughter and the noise and maintenance were quite unpleasant. However, these didn’t detract significantly from our enjoyment.
**Final Thoughts:**
This international hotel is just a few minutes' drive from the city, offering a serene escape with a beautiful exterior. Guests are welcomed by a picturesque fish pond, vibrant gardens, playful rabbits, and a designated play area for kids, making it an ideal family-friendly destination.
In addition to comfortable accommodations and expected amenities, the hotel provides a relaxing environment for guests of all ages.

AlicequnaliThis place is practically a Kyoto-Hangzhou branch, several friends even thought we had gone abroad when I didn't share the location! From the moment we entered to check-in, everything felt so ceremonial: the hand-washing basin, water divination, welcome tea and snacks, making sachets, and a full introduction to all areas and activities. We were even able to check in early, which was a great help as a room was already clean. Right when we arrived, there were chilled noodles in the hot spring area, which were absolutely delicious! Since there were many adults and children in our group, we decided to go out for dinner. When we returned, we went straight for the hot springs. The amenities provided were from good brands and very comprehensive. It was my first time experiencing a Japanese-style hot spring, and it was quite a novel experience. Afterwards, there was delicious chilled milk in glass bottles. The kids had a blast in the hot spring lounge area, happily devouring fruits, snacks, drinks, and ice cream. After a round of fun, it was time for late-night oden. The adults were full and content, returning to their rooms to rest. The next day's nine-compartment breakfast looked small but was incredibly satisfying. This was truly an extremely, extremely, extremely, extremely unexpected and perfect hot spring trip. If you're coming to Hangzhou, you should definitely plan to visit this place! 😆

Tridib MisraAfter reserving, I received a courtesy call from the hotel, and we then connected on WeChat since I don’t speak Chinese. The hotel introduced me to Long, the housekeeper, who coordinated our entire stay with great care and attention. Before our arrival, they asked if we had any special requests. As my wife and I were celebrating our anniversary, I asked them to decorate the room with flowers—and they did a beautiful job.
They also asked about our dinner and breakfast preferences and were impressively organized in their preparations. We arrived on a Saturday afternoon, but our taxi had trouble locating the hotel. I called Long, and he immediately came out to meet us—a huge help! When we checked in, they welcomed us with refreshments and even surprised us with a complimentary room upgrade. The room had a bathtub, which our three-year-old son especially loved.
To our delight, they had thoughtfully prepared a child’s hygiene kit for him, including kid-friendly soap, shampoo, and a dental kit. We also received a handwritten note, a fresh fruit bowl, and a lovely bouquet of flowers. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, spotless, and very tastefully decorated.
There’s a small indoor play area for children, including a slide, tent, and games—our son played there every day. We also enjoyed strolling around the grounds and spending time at the scenic swimming pool, which is nestled in the mountains. The food was another highlight: we had a delicious Chinese dinner and a traditional Chinese breakfast, both full of flavor.
Throughout our stay, Long was incredibly helpful and made our trip truly special. Thank you, Long!
I highly recommend Lost Villa. They have other locations as well, and we’re definitely looking forward to staying with them again.

Elevemm52I specifically chose the Brettonwood Resort for my trip to Qiandao Lake this time, and the overall stay exceeded my expectations – it was absolutely fantastic! Our butler, Mei Mei, was incredibly attentive and deserves a special shout-out!
The hotel's location is excellent; I could enjoy the stunning lake and mountain views right from my window. In the mornings, there was a beautiful mist, and in the evenings, gorgeous sunsets. The scenery was truly breathtaking.
The front desk staff were warm and patient, and the check-in and check-out process was smooth. Any requests were handled promptly. The resort grounds are serene and elegant, with lush greenery and even a petting zoo. The kids absolutely loved feeding the peacocks, ducks, bunnies, foxes, raccoons, and piglets. It's also very pet-friendly.
The breakfast buffet offered a rich variety, especially the noodle and vermicelli station with a wide selection of condiments. They even had homemade chili and ginger, which was a real treat for spice lovers. Parking for self-drivers is convenient, and it's particularly well-suited for family vacations. This will be my top choice for Qiandao Lake; I'll definitely be back!

Sitting quietly under the eaves, a cup of clear tea completely relaxes the mind. The room offers a view right outside the door; at night, you hear the bamboo rustling in the wind, and in the morning, the scent of fresh grass. The best part about this place is that it makes you forget you're traveling – it's as if you've returned to a long-unvisited, leisurely hometown, rediscovering the tranquility and ease that life should inherently have.

Welcome fruit: The sweetest plums I've ever tasted!
We went in late July, it was super hot during the day, but thankfully there was a shuttle service that took us everywhere, which saved us a lot of hassle.
The first night, we ate at a restaurant recommended by the front desk, and the food was excellent.
The second day, we went for the 'lazy' rafting experience, also recommended by the front desk. Although it was crowded, the experience was still fantastic!
On the third day, before checking out, we visited the museum and went for a small stream trekking, which was incredibly relaxing.
Overall impression:
The entire scenic area has great aesthetics; whether it's the natural scenery or the architecture, there's nothing visually unappealing.
The people we met and the scenic area itself were very pet-friendly. They treated our dog like family, making the experience very relaxed and natural.
This place is also perfect for very lazy people. The hotel organized many activities and even reminded us in advance to join, which was very thoughtful.
The breakfast was also delicious, clean, and fresh.

The room design was great, and both the elderly and children loved it. They even thoughtfully provided eye masks. The room had a smart smart control system and underfloor heating. Both the indoor and outdoor views were fantastic, especially the hot spring in the bamboo forest. The service was excellent; they responded immediately to every request, even late at night – thank you so much to the young man! Initially, the guesthouse had stopped providing underfloor heating for the first few days of our stay because it was getting warmer, but on the day we arrived, it got a bit cold, and my child liked to walk on the floor without slippers. The owner kindly turned the heating back on – thank you!
We had dinner at the guesthouse: chicken soup, braised bamboo shoots, and braised catfish. The auntie cooked it very well; my elders still rave about it afterward, haha. Breakfast was rather home-style, but the auntie's soft-boiled eggs were delicious, and the young man's hand-drip coffee was also very good.
One small suggestion: could the guesthouse consider allowing guests to choose between regular towels and disposable towels in the future? My child only made this suggestion about the towels, haha. Also, it would be even better if there was an absorbent mat in the bathroom.
Overall, it's good, pet-friendly, and I recommend it.
