The hotel staff were incredibly helpful! Seeing that there were three of us, they kindly upgraded us to a family suite for free and even brought up extra toiletries without us asking. The room itself was huge! The beds, I'd say about 1.5m by 2m, were incredibly large and comfortable. After using a Trip.com discount, we got the room for around 300 MOP a night, which is an amazing deal. Calling the front desk for service was also super prompt. It's really rare to find such good service in a crowded place like Macau Peninsula. The hotel is right next to a bus stop, making transportation very convenient. If you're looking to explore the Peninsula for a day or two, Hotel Rio is a perfect choice – highly, highly recommended! It's less than a 10-minute walk to Senado Square, making it easy to get anywhere on the main island.
Our check-in experience was fantastic, thanks to Andy. He was incredibly professional and efficient, allowing us to check in early and even upgrading us to a room with a great view. The whole process was smooth and pleasant. He also gave us some small candies as a welcome gift, which were delicious! Overall, a very enjoyable check-in. When we checked out, we stored our luggage at the West Wing lobby, and Sheng there was also wonderful. The service was impeccable, very thoughtful and attentive. All in all, my experience at The Venetian was excellent, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Macau.
The hotel is very clean, the environment is new, and it offers great value for money. There's a shuttle bus right across the street in Sands that takes you to The Londoner. There's also a bus stop directly opposite the hotel entrance, making transportation quite convenient. The bathroom has a bathtub, which was lovely for a relaxing soak after a long day of exploring. The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. I used to always stay at hotels in the Galaxy area, but I'll definitely consider booking here again next time.
Stayed here for a short break and had a pleasant experience. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay. Location was convenient for dining and transport. Overall, good value for money and would consider returning again for future trips or business visits there.
The hotel's location is excellent, within walking distance to major attractions like the Ruins of St. Paul's, the Museum, Mount Fortress, and Senado Square. The room comes with a universal adapter and a tourist guide. The staff are warm and attentive. The hotel has no entertainment facilities, making it very quiet. Downstairs, there's a park, snack shops, a supermarket, and a pharmacy, with a bus stop conveniently nearby.
After booking, I tried to contact the hotel multiple times without success; no one responded to my requests. Finally, Ctrip helped me communicate with the hotel the day before our trip. Initially, I was concerned about renovation smells in the Bond Tower and asked to be moved to the Banyan Tower. Ctrip informed me that as of April 2026, only the Bond Tower was open, which I accepted. Then, I requested to switch our king room to a twin room, and the hotel said it would cost an additional 90+ RMB, which I also agreed to. Many online reviews mention free room upgrades, but honestly, don't expect any of that anymore.
I had also mentioned it was our 10th wedding anniversary, and while they didn't upgrade our room, they did give us a small cake. However, it was clearly an oversight as it said 'Happy Birthday' – very perfunctory. Furthermore, during check-in, halfway through the process, a South Asian supervisor-like staff member suddenly came over and, with a disdainful look, told us we needed to pay extra. I was thinking, hadn't Ctrip already clarified this, and hadn't we agreed to pay? Why did she act as if we were unwilling to pay and deserved her contempt? This was the first time I'd ever had such an uncomfortable check-in experience in Macau.
The hotel's facilities and design are undeniably exquisite and beautiful. Although the room was small, the Bond Tower didn't have the strong renovation smell that some online reviews mentioned, which was a relief. The hotel also provided Eiffel Tower tickets, which was a pleasant surprise.
After returning to the room in the evening, I noticed there was no turndown service provided, nor was the room tidied up a second time. The service was a bit lacking. Also, there were no size options for children's bathrobes; my 130cm, 80-catty (approx. 40kg) son couldn't wear theirs. The service staff and front desk employees had poor English proficiency.
The only thing that truly impressed me was the heated swimming pool. Located on the 3rd floor, it offered great views, with comfortable loungers, lemon water, and towels readily available by the pool. The water temperature was a very comfortable 36 degrees Celsius, making it suitable for swimming even in winter, which was excellent.
Overall, you can stay at this hotel, but don't have high expectations for the service.
I booked a King Room with an ocean view. The room was spacious, spotless, and well-maintained. The minibar items were complimentary, except for the premium bottled water and wine (though no wine was provided in the room). A deposit of MOP 1,000 was required at check-in, which was fully refunded upon checkout. The hotel also offered free shuttle buses to major hotels and key departure points across Macau. The concierge, Charles, was particularly helpful in advising us on the correct shuttle bus number to reach our intended destination.
I chose the right hotel for my trip to Macau with my mom! [Strong] The location is very close to the border gate, and the hotel offers a free shuttle bus which makes getting around super convenient. The room was exceptionally clean, and the soundproofing was excellent. The bed was just the right firmness, so I slept really well. The atmosphere was absolutely perfect, and the service details were incredibly thoughtful! Satisfied, so satisfied, super satisfied! [Fireworks]
I booked this hotel solely because of its Nanyang-style resort, and I only stayed one night, so I can't really comment on the hotel's services. Since the hotel is quite old, the room's decor isn't what's currently trendy, so don't have high expectations. I checked in during the Qingming Festival, and the weather was a bit humid, so the room had an odor. Also, be sure to gently close the toilet seat, or it will clang shut and give you a fright! The pool is over at the resort, and it's quite beautiful, great for photos, but there are a lot of mosquitoes – I got about four or five bites just sitting there for a bit.
Guaranteed late check-out until 2 PM: Great!
Complimentary mini-bar snacks and drinks: Very generous.
Late check-out was very convenient, and check-in was super efficient. The service was good, and the pool has a heated section. Downstairs is a water park, which is very friendly for hotel guests. There's also an extra-cost kids' play area on the third floor, perfect for families with young children. The mall's food court and shopping options are also plentiful!

Ppeggy7758Our room was on a higher floor, so it was pretty quiet with minimal noise. Overall, the room was clean, though the facilities were a bit dated. The main drawback was the air conditioning at night; it was very loud and constantly rattling. Everything else was generally acceptable.
When calling a taxi from the front desk, there were often issues with the line being busy. If you urgently need a car, it's best to check if someone is getting out of a taxi at the entrance, or head over to the taxi stand at Galaxy, or use their dedicated ride service.
The location isn't right next to Galaxy, but it's still quite close. We were able to walk to Rua da Cunha (Taipa Village) in the evening and back from there without any trouble. The Grand Hyatt Residences are right next door, as is the Inn Hotel Yacht.

Yyls1013The Grand Lisboa Palace Macau has really spacious rooms, about 70 square meters. The decor is simple, elegant, and grand, with beautiful soft furnishings. The staff are attentive and thoughtful; they even gave us extra bottles of water because they noticed we were drinking a lot. The swimming pool is excellent, with both indoor and outdoor heated pools. Breakfast meets five-star standards, but it's not particularly amazing.
JJiafeiaichiniangaoOh my goodness, this hotel is absolutely fantastic! The front desk staff are all incredibly nice and accommodating, always ready to help and very friendly towards children. They even give you hand cream before bed, and everything in the mini-bar except alcoholic drinks is complimentary – there are even instant noodles, which my kids loved! The semi-buffet breakfast is also wonderful. I've stayed at The Londoner and Four Seasons in Macau before, and this time I tried Morpheus and St. Regis. I have to say, I highly recommend The Londoner and Morpheus; I'll definitely choose these two again next time. Of course, I'd also like to try other hotels, haha. And a big shout-out to Yí Lóng Hè at Morpheus – the food is delicious, the service is excellent, and for my birthday, they even gave me longevity buns and a pen with the Yí Lóng Hè logo. This was the most comfortable stay! I do have one small suggestion though: it would be even better if the customized birthday room key card also included the birth date.

NNichengbaixiaobaiI booked this for my parents for 4 nights, and they said it was excellent. The hotel upgraded them to a suite, which they estimated was at least 120 square meters – much more luxurious than the room they originally booked. They really felt the 'decadence and luxury' of Macau and were very satisfied with their trip.
I chose this hotel for their in-depth Macau experience because it's new and has convenient public transport nearby. I'll definitely choose this hotel again when I visit Macau!
Vvivian_eastwoodThis is my second stay here, and I absolutely love it! The environment is great, and the service is excellent. They even upgraded my room. Currently, they also have an Indian food night dinner event. A taxi to the Galaxy Arena costs 50, but if you want to save money, you can take bus 21A right outside the hotel. Get off at The Londoner, and The Venetian is just across the street. The Londoner also has a direct shuttle to the airport. I really like it here and will definitely come back next time!
GGuest UserFrom the moment I checked in, I experienced thoughtful and attentive service. A special shout-out to Val for the warm welcome; they helped me with my luggage to the room and gave a detailed introduction to all the room's amenities. The room itself was clean and tidy. It was a truly memorable stay.
