Hotels With Gym in Jiangsu, China

We were lured to this hotel through recommendation of influencers that boast this hotel with it's majestic look of that looking like a Chinese traditional castle. Although the location is not quite what we really like as it is about 8-10mins walking from the nearest Metro Station (Nanmen Metro) but the price was quite affordable and enticing that we decided to give it a try. The hotel facade does looks magnificant, grand and big from afar, the interior is huge and traditionally well-kept even though the design looks a bit dated but I find that it stays classy and traditional that way. We were assigned to one of the furthest room all the way to the back at 5069. The walk was quite long since it was all the way at the back. Room is definitely big and allow opening of luggages all at one go. The amenities given was sufficient, except they can improve by giving more shower bath gel and shampoo as the small bottles was not enough. Was also hoping they could have install international plugs for their international guest being an international hotel chain as well. Their staffs were polite and professional. Woudl recommend anyone coming to Suzhou to give this hotel one shot at least! The most important thing is the hotel stay comes with complimentary park access which is connected at the back of the hotel which would cost RMB40 if you were to pay to go in! Worth it!

The hotel service was excellent, truly living up to its reputation as a seasoned five-star establishment. Although the decor shows its age, it's incredibly well-maintained. The hotel's restaurant, Jiangnan灶, is an absolute must-try. In the afternoon, I went to the executive lounge on the 40th floor for afternoon tea. Manager Jiang Shupeng was incredibly patient and provided thoughtful service. With beautiful views and delicious food, overlooking the panoramic Xuanwu Lake, it was the perfect way to spend the last happy moments of my vacation on a lazy spring afternoon.

The food was fantastic, and the location is excellent. It's right next to Metro Line 1, very close to Sanyang Plaza, and there's a shopping mall behind it with a HEYTEA on the first floor, making it super convenient for meals and drinks. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. It was quiet, pleasant, very clean, and a lot of fun. The front desk agent who checked us in was so thoughtful and upgraded our room for us. It was absolutely wonderful, and we had a very pleasant stay!

New hotel, friendly staff but is going to be outdated soon. Bad sound proofing , lots of drunk Chinese people shouting in the corridor at night time. The breakfast variety is so poor for Europeans. Please teach your staff in the restaurant to cook sunny side up eggs and refill the dishes without reminding. Overall, it’s not “real Hilton” experience.

The hotel's location is superb, right in Xinjiekou, Nanjing's city center, making it incredibly convenient for shopping and sightseeing. The wide-open space in front of the hotel makes getting around very easy. Plus, the surrounding area is beautiful and truly captures the essence of Nanjing! The breakfast offers local Nanjing specialties, including Huaiyang cuisine! We really appreciate the hotel's efficient and convenient butler service, which made us feel right at home. Duncan at the front desk was meticulous and thoughtful. Jinling Hotel's service is top-notch – incredibly detailed, luxurious, and comfortable, making us feel pampered! ❤️ The hotel facilities include an excellent pool, spa, and restaurant. The room decor is exquisite, and the environment is elegant, making for a very comfortable and relaxing overall experience. 😎 We'll definitely be back in the summer! Location: This hotel is a landmark in Xuzhou, right in the city center. It's incredibly convenient for visiting the Confucius Temple and Pengcheng No. 1, and also close to the 1818 Night Market. You can even see these attractions from the hotel rooms. Getting to the subway station across the street requires a bit of a walk around to the traffic light, so we mostly took taxis, though you can also walk to Hubu Mountain and Huilongwo, exploring all the way to the museum and Yunlong Mountain. Facilities: There's a swimming pool, but we didn't use it. Cleanliness: Tidy. Service: I was initially worried that the front desk being on the 42nd floor would be inconvenient, but there's a dedicated elevator to go up, so it didn't feel like an issue at all.

I'm absolutely captivated by the design and service at Andaz Hotel! The lobby is elegant and stylish, with trendy design elements everywhere – perfect for snapping some great photos. It truly embodies the concept of a 'hidden gem in the city.' The room facilities are smart and thoughtful, with a separate wet and dry bathroom and a super comfortable central air conditioning system. There's even a reading bar in the public area, which is perfect for relaxing. When checking in, the front desk staff addressed me by name, and I could also borrow a charger. Any issues were resolved efficiently, making for a stay that felt both secure and comfortable. My experience was absolutely top-notch!

I chose Yangzhou for a slow-paced, food-focused trip before the Chinese New Year, avoiding the peak travel season. The characteristic attractions like Daming Temple and Geyuan had just the right amount of visitors, and the delicious Huaiyang cuisine was a treat. The Shangri-La Yangzhou was filled with a strong New Year atmosphere. The butler was incredibly attentive, noting my booking requests beforehand and arranging a high-floor, non-smoking room for me. The front desk staff were also very welcoming. Overall, both the soft amenities and hardware were excellent – truly living up to the Shangri-La name!

This is my third time staying at InterContinental Nanjing, and the view is still great. This time, I got a complimentary upgrade to a room on the 68th floor, but it didn't face Xuanwu Lake, which was a bit disappointing. The furniture in the room is a little dated, understandable since the hotel has been open for 15 years. I felt the central air conditioning was too hot, especially in winter; even with the small side window, it felt a bit stuffy. Perhaps they could consider better temperature and humidity control, like adding humidifiers. There was some dust in the corner of the bedside table, and the toilet in the bathroom was an older model. Breakfast was just okay, nothing special, and the bacon wasn't well-cooked – that needs improvement. I remember having a fantastic dinner buffet at the InterContinental during National Day in '25, where each guest even received a sea cucumber. Compared to dinner, breakfast was significantly less impressive, and the Western pastries were just average. The service, however, was very warm and enthusiastic; they called both before and after my stay and even provided fruit. If you're coming to Nanjing, I'd still recommend it. Nanjing Grand Theatre is next to the hotel, and the Nanjing Impressions restaurant there has great food. There's also an observation deck on the 45th floor where you can use your room key to access the terrace and enjoy the view.

The hotel is ideally located very close to the Olympic Sports Center, making it the top choice for anyone attending a Chinese Super League match. A Wanda Plaza is conveniently located right behind the hotel, offering easy access to dining and shopping. It's also just a short distance from Changzhou Museum. I specifically visited to see the Marquis Haihun special exhibition this time, which was excellent. The hotel's breakfast was incredibly plentiful and delicious, and the young man at the front desk was very friendly and quickly helped us with all our requests. This is definitely a hotel worth staying at in Changzhou, and I'll choose it again for my next visit!
