LOCATION What i love the best is the location and also the view (paddyfield). Next to our hotel, there is a top hair spa saloon Rob Peetom, so convenient. BREAKFAST The breakfast buffet is standard, maybe they should improve their bread and patisserie, actually the taste of fried rice and noodles also need improve. Egg station no need improve. ROOM Plus point the room is quite big and has balcony inside, the bathroom is also bright. Not too clean but i close my eyes for the best location this hotel had. The amenities is the worst, u only get toothpaste and toothbrush. Even you have to pay for extra towel extra pillow. FACILITIES The hotel has pool! Nice and clean ( the water is so so so cold ) nobody swim there. The hotel also provide the parking area ( valet by their team)

Very disappointed stay! Stayed in October 2022 loved it loved everything. This stay we were not told about the breakfast not being buffet style well at least being dramatically downsized and put out the front at Papas Beach Cafe. The selections were bland and mostly asian style nothing like it was in October and that was why we rebooked! The pool deck is a accident waiting to happen very very dangerous. My daughter room key was re programmed at least 20 time is 6 days very very frustrating with 3 little boys in tow to have to go from 1 end of the property to the other to report it. On the good side the staff are amazing so friendly welcoming and 10/10 to the chef at Papa's cafe for inviting the 3 boys into the kitchen to make and prepare and serve the best Pizza's I have ever eaten. The Alam KulKul is in a great position and the staff are worth staying for but quite a bit needs to be done to make it great

We stayed in this guesthouse for a week. We were looking for a quiet place to sleep, far from the chaos of Ubud, the bet is held. It's really isolated, in the middle of the rice fields. The staff are lovely, very helpful and friendly. They are always there for you and if you have a question or request, they will go out of their way to answer it right away. The room is large and very clean. We asked for an upstairs room and got it. The bed is firm but comfortable. The rooms all have a terrace where you can eat, have breakfast or simply relax. The included breakfast is very simple (choice between omelet and pancakes, fruit juice, and fruit), but sufficient. You can pay extra for extras. There is no restaurant or bar in this guest house, so you will either have to go to the hotel not far away or order your food on Grab/Gojek. We opted for this second option, and it went very well, a huge choice, delivery in less than an hour if you order from a restaurant in Ubud. The staff can also take an order and your money and go 2/3 shopping for you for drinks displayed on the minibar. Every day they gave us a bottle of water each for free. The pool is nice and clean. The air conditioning is very efficient, sometimes even too much! It has to be settled. Sometimes we just ended up cutting it off. You won't be hot. Now, the negative points, because a good opinion must also mention the points to improve: Daylight which passes very easily, the curtains are not very glued to the window so from 5 am we began to have light. It's true that we Europeans are used to sleeping in the dark. In the room there was also a pipe noise, quite sharp, when people were using the water, whether it was us or neighbours. I don't know what it is, maybe a pump, pipes... I don't know if the problem is common to all rooms. Since I'm sensitive enough to noise to sleep, I opted for earplugs, problem solved. Count 3 to 5 euros one way to get around town by ordering a ride on Grab/Gojek. We had the reservation at a very good price because booked early and before the lifting of health restrictions, so we will say that we are very satisfied with our choice. I hope they will improve the two points mentioned above because those were the two things that bothered me.

Ubud
New hotel with lots of friendly and eager to assist staff. Their kindness makes you feel welcomed and their readiness to serve you at every moment truly makes it feel like you’re on holiday. The rooms and facilities are clean, beautiful pool and water fountain. Great spa to get a massage at and breakfast was good. Shuttle service that runs to and from Ubud Centre (only selected times, so make sure you know the schedule). Although I gave them a 5/5, the are still things I think that they can improve on. 1. Housekeeping is quite slow, I stayed at the pool one day and had lunch at the restaurant, after 3 hours I returned to my room and it still wasn’t touched by housekeeping. I also waited longer on the day of my check-in to get to my room. Although I arrived early and was patient and understanding to wait until my room was ready at 14:00 I still ended up waiting another 30mins to get to my room. This was a little annoying as they already knew I was waiting a long time and feel like they could’ve somehow speeded up the service. I understand they have their cleaning standards, especially for a new check-in. Maybe they need to employ more housekeepers to fulfil the hotel’s requirements. 2. On the day of my arrival the pool wasn’t open due to bad weather days prior to my check-in, which I totally understand and grateful they tend to the pool so well. I was however offered 20% discount on the Spa, outdoor activities etc. through a paper that was placed on my bed after I got into my room. However this coupon wasn’t explained to me and when I tried to use it two days later for a massage I was told it was only valid for the day the pool was out of service. 3. Breakfast - I understand it’s a smaller hotel and I appreciate any hotel that tries to contribute to the environment by limiting food waste by only serving certain about of dishes, however a better variety would have been appreciated, especially for guests that stays for a couple of nights. With that the buffet breakfast only came with a Balinese Coffee or Tea. This was not explained before booking the room and this information wasn’t given by Trip.com. It does however say the buffet breakfast comes with coffee or tea. But like many many other hotels I’ve stayed at and mentioned that the buffet breakfast comes with coffee or tea it usually means that there is a variety of coffee or teas available. And wanting a cappuccino or iced latte for breakfast would cost you extra. 4. The restaurant, drink usually came not as cold as one would expect it to be. I ordered an ice tea and it was more of a lukewarm tea. The beer they served was also not very cold and quite disappointing especially when it’s so hot and all you want is something ice cold. 5. The hotel entrance is a bit difficult to find, management can think of a better way to showcase the entrance/name of the hotel. Overall I enjoyed the stay, it close enough to walk to Ubud Centre (about 15min walk) If you’re up to it. It’s beautiful, clean and a little peace of paradise. Some services however need more attention to details.

My flight was delayed and I checked in at 10am, but they welcomed me very kindly. I was also very relieved by the thoughtfulness with which they offered warm tea to my partner who was not feeling well. I went to sleep at night to the sound of chirping insects, and woke up in the morning to the sound of chickens. It's a very peaceful and gentle space. The pool is also located on top of a mountain, so you can enjoy a great view and relax. We rented a bike and went to the temple for breakfast and then used the pool after checking out. This is a place I really recommend! I'll be back again 🎵
Desa Swan Villas & Spa, Keramas

We had a lovely stay from the 11th to 14th October. The villa is clean, very well maintained and the service is impeccable. The private pool is of very good size and is set amidst a manicured private garden. The staff listened and attended to all our requests. Buggy and car is available to transport us to the the restaurant just beside the beach or to the neighbourhood to buy some provisions. The restaurant serves great breakfast, lunch and dinner. The restaurant staff are professional, polite and absolutely amazing with their smiles. Dressed in traditional costumes especially on Thursdays, the look is impeccable. Will certainly return to Desa Pramana Swan when we return to Bali.

Had quite a nice stay at Manca villa in Canggu during our 5 nights stay in September 2023. Here are some positives and negatives from our experience. Positive: - Friendly young driven staffs - Quiet location off the main road - Super comfortable bed (firm side) and really really good sleep - Quite beautiful and good villa concept, excellent lighting inside bedroom - Good TV with all the major streaming services - Easy and walkable to get to the main streets Negative: - Staffs were attentive but at times, there would be no one at the reception - We noticed some wood dusts around the villa (possible termite droppings) - The shower area is not the cleanest. Yellow stains on shower walls and wonky floor tiles - The bathroom is semi outdoor so naturally, it's prone to ants and mosquitoes - Pool can be cleaner - In the kitchen area, the cutting board really need to be clean (had red stains all over) - Not enough cutlery provided, had to request for more - Towels with stains and smell of cigarette smoke (for 2 days the hotel ran out of hand towels and towels due to laundry delay, offered pool towels instead) - Main sliding doors are worn out and need to be serviced - Overall, need more attention to detail and up keeping :)

Ubud
It’s not a bad hotel. To summarize I’ll write pros and cons- Pros- service, quiet area, amazing staff, very helpful. Specially Dewi, Arira or similar best staff ever. This hotel people only come for the service but everything else is just below average. It takes a lot for me to write a negative review. But this experience made me do so. Cons- Wi-Fi doesn’t work! Even after asking the IT guy who said he’ll do something but actually didn’t do anything. As it had speed or 3mbps and kept on dropping. - Buffet breakfast - very average, the staff tries hard to please you. But the food is very very average. I mean not even 1 proper bakery items. Balinese coffee just doesn’t cut it. I’ll give it a rating 3/10. - Rooms are basic, pretty old, beds make squeaking noise, suites have nice view but everything looks old. - There is no afternoon tea although there is a sign in the lobby that states there is. - shuttle only runs twice a day 11am and 4pm. This hotel is about 8kms away from Ubud main shops. And the shops around the hotels aren’t many. - Spa at hotel - OMG don’t even try it! I had booked and got this oldish lady “Ayu”. Who basically was just touching my body and not even putting any effort. I literally had to leave the massage after telling her about 10 times to put more pressure. And then she tried to charge me for the whole hour which I disputed and then she said ok I’ll charge you for 30mins. I asked her if she has another staff which I did see when I started the massage. And she says no we don’t have anyone. Worst massage ever!!! - You must rent a bike to enjoy if you do decide to stay in this hotel. - Food and beverages are expensive compared to shops around the place but the service is amazing. For example an Ice coffee is $5.50AUD which is what I get in Australia. And veggie Pizza is around $10. Bring your wall plug converter if you are staying at this place. Villas were amazing as due to great staff I got to see inside them. Suites- are just standard bedrooms with balconies. Rooms have jet pumps to wash ur bottom, has hair dryers, small empty bar fridge. House keeping staff are amazing. The shuttle to Ubud shops you must book them before hand. There is a river that runs but you won’t be able to see it as the small trees that grew around it has blocked all the view. Pool is small but nice, there are towels and hot shower options. - TV only has channels which aren’t in English and the network is so bad that you can’t even watch it. Very old TV’s in suites. - you can rent small scooters for about 100k IDR from hotel.

We stayed in a 2 BHK for 3 days. Place is close quite close to Ulluwatu temple. Hotel staff is very friendly & helped us in arranging for good driver to track around the area. Villa is very spacious & neat & tidy. Private pool is also well maintained. There is no kitchenette or bbq are in the villas. But they have a restaurant where the breakfast was quite good. Special thanks to Ayu for being very hospitable in meeting our every request. At the front desk Ngurah was very friendly and made sure every request or query was met with a smile
