The best thing about this hotel is the location. It's right on Qianmen Rd, only about 3 minutes walk to Zhushikou Metro Station Exit A. It is walking distance to Tiantan Park. Very close to Tiananmen and Gugong and Qianmen Transportation Centre. You can either ride a bike to these places or take subway which is about 3 stops. It is on the quiet side of Qianmen Rd and a short distance walk to the main Rd, so it is easy to get a taxi and go around than living in the middle of Qianmen Rd. The amenities are minimal, and the room is quite small. Service is ok. They charge 50 Yuan deposit for a second room card. There is a convenient store on the opposite of the hotel which is nice. I would recommend it for short stay in Beijing.

Is a very nice hotel to stay just a bit smaller but still can stay. Very friendly customer service even we want to take a taxi we have no app to order taxi the customer service help us to go out to the main road and help us stop a taxi and get us to airport. When ask them to help they also manage to help.

The convenient access to the metro station also made it easy to venture further afield. Comfort and Convenience: My room was a haven of comfort and style. The spacious layout, plush bedding, and modern amenities provided everything I needed for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. I particularly appreciated the thoughtful touches, such as the complimentary bottled water and the well-stocked tea and coffee station. Exceptional Service: What truly sets this hotel apart is its exceptional staff. They were incredibly friendly, helpful, and always went above and beyond to ensure my stay was as comfortable as possible. I must specifically commend their honesty and efficiency. After I accidentally left a necklace in my room, they promptly contacted me and arranged for its safe return. This act of kindness truly exemplified their commitment to guest satisfaction. I was only here for 3 nights, but had an extremely comfortable stay. The rooms are large and very well equipped - there is a fridge, microwave, kettle and a really good washer/dryer, which was such a blessing for me after a month of traveling. This is essentially a serviced apartment, but they also have a lovely lounge/kitchen in the basement, with a coffee machine that I may have used a little too much 🤣 It was good coffee and I was really glad for it at the start of a busy day. Their housekeeping staff is lovely as well, as is their security/doorman with the kindest smile. The reception staff went above and beyond to help me with my many queries. I had some delayed deliveries arrive at the hotel after I checked out, unfortunately, and although I'm sure my many requests may have been rather irritating as my friend in Beijing attempted to reroute/collect the late deliveries from the hotel, never once did the hotel staff convey a hint of frustration to me. They were so kind and gracious throughout, and I am genuinely grateful for that. The hotel's location is an absolute chef's kiss 🤌 There are 2 major subway stations at equal distance from the hotel, and you can pick the station based on which line you need. The hotel is located by the hutongs west of Dongsi, right at the end of the LongfuSi complex, which is essentially a long line of fantastic pubs, cafes, restaurants, and also functions as a community/park of sorts, so you will see lots of families and people walking their dogs in the evenings - I'm not quite sure how to describe it, but it's a very uniquely ”Beijing” experience, not one you would experience out on the busy main roads. One of my favourite things was just walking back from the subway station and getting to immerse myself in this environment before arriving at Base. Also, I read some reviews saying it is inaccessible for taxis - this is not true, as there is a wide enough road for cars; your DiDi driver just won't be able to wait for you as there is no parking on the main street, so you'll need to be waiting for them outside. It was very convenient for my driver to pick me up when I checked out. Thank you to the courteous reception staff for putting up with all my queries and shenanigans! I'm genuinely grateful and hope to be back again very soon (hopefully next time with fewer questions, but no promises!)

Service was excellent from checking in to checking out. They are very helpful and English communication is not a problem. The rooms are very clean, good shower, and comfortable bed. The breakfast (48rmb) is also delicious. Free gym and self washing area with dryer. The only downside is that it is a 15mins walk to the nearest subway and not much to do or see in the area. It is value for money!

This is a beautiful hotel situated in the mountainous region of Beijing. The surroundings and view from the hotel are breathtaking at sunset and weather was extremely good during our stay. STAFF The staff were amount the most helpful and friendly that I have encountered in China thus far and I have been here more than five years and traveled to many destinations. They do not speak English but are very ready to use a translation APP or WeChat to communicate. The staff are very accommodating and even took special requests regarding the menu. FOOD The food was very well prepared and tasted delicious. Their menu unfortunately does not have pictures and the translations may be tricky if you are not particularly familiar with Chinese cuisine. Nevertheless, the food that we at was fresh, tasty and of high quality. We were able to BBQ by ourselves by reserving it a day in advance. The staff will also help you BBQ if needed. LOCATION The hotel is situated far from the city and a sense of comfort can be experienced knowing that you have left the hustle and bustle of the city behind. However, make sure all amenities and personal effects that you may need are with you as you cannot get same day delivery services. There were some construction vehicles which made noise occasionally in the area but I would suspect this is temporary and will soon pass. ROOM The rooms are beautiful and we experiences no dysfunctional amenities in the bedroom. The linen on the beds were crisp and clean, the room was clean upon arrival and daily cleaning is offered. Overall cleanliness was very good. The washroom area is stocked with a loofa, toothbrushes and toothpaste tubes, shampoo, shower gel, conditioner, razor, hand towels, cups and reasonable space for personal toiletries too. POOL AREA The outdoor patio looks out onto the pool. The water was well maintained and some pool toys were provided by the hotel. The pool area could use some maintenance, for example, around the stairs there are a couple loose tiles on the stair face and some weeding around the footpath could be done. Other than this, the environment is completely mesmerising and leaves one completely relaxed. Calming music is played throughout the day at a low volume. At night, this area is well lit and the scenery beautiful. BAR The bar is well stocked with spirits but a slightly wider variety and maybe the addition of a drinks menu would definitely improve this. ROOFTOP The hotel has a rooftop deck perfect for sundowners and viewing the surrounding mountains. Tables and chairs are provided on the rooftop.

I stayed at Beijing Daoxiang Lakeview Hotel with my parents, an old man and a child. The lobby was spacious and bright. The waiter was welcoming and greeted me warmly. Seeing me and my parents, I checked in immediately. The speed was very fast. When I stepped into the hotel room, I was instantly attracted by its elegant decoration. The spacious and bright windows and soft and warm lights, every detail showed quality and the neat bed was as soft as a cloud, making people forget the fatigue of the journey when they lie down. The restaurant environment is good, and the food is rich and varied. The only regret is that the buffet dinner is closed on Sunday. The children's playground is good and our baby had a lot of fun.

Hotel that is in a good location hotel with well appointed rooms. Firm bed, selection of toiletries, and complimentary bottles of water was useful to have whilst out and about. The breakfast was extensive with so much variety but often the hotel options were luke warm or cooled to room temperature so a bit disappointing. Definitely a bit of a language barrier as English was a struggle and lots of blank expressions; this was surprisingly as this is an American hotel chain. Despite this... overall, it wasn't bad, just... could be better.

This stay was a very good experience. As soon as you enter the lobby, there will be staff who will greet you, very Poly. When you enter the guest room, there are no toothbrushes provided, but you can ask the service staff, and they will deliver them in a timely manner. I especially praise the little girl Zhao Shuai who has been helping me clean the house these days. She is very diligent and loves to smile, and works cleanly and efficiently. When eating in the restaurant, the service staff are also very enthusiastic and will introduce the dishes. The food is also delicious. I will choose Poly to stay next time, leaving many memories.

We booked a family suite with windows for four nights. The room is spacious, specially the second floor. There is a laundry room with free washers and dryer. Everyone is super nice. The hotel is close to WangFuJing pedestrian street, Tiananmen Square, national Museum, forbidden city, etc, all in walking distance. I would recommend this hotel to all my friends without reservation
