"An absolutely wonderful experience! The entire hotel was designed by Singapore's Temasek Group and is seamlessly integrated with the Panmen Scenic Area. The hotel itself is built around a traditional Chinese garden layout, cleverly concealing eight distinct attractions. Its back entrance leads directly into the Panmen Scenic Area, and with your hotel key card, you get unlimited access throughout the day, along with services like Hanfu rental. The hotel itself is impeccable, with top-notch amenities, including the pool and gym. The customer service staff are also very professional. I noticed many foreigners, especially Singaporeans, staying here. The only minor drawback is that the rooms are spread across multiple buildings, making the hotel quite large. On my first visit, it took me a while to navigate from the front desk to my room. Also, the front desk is on the 3rd floor, while the rooms are on the 1st and 2nd floors, which can be a bit confusing when coming and going."

"The hotel's scenery is truly breathtaking, especially at night – it's absolutely stunning. However, the facilities are a bit dated, and the room decor feels a little old-fashioned. On the bright side, the service is excellent. I'm not sure why, but the bathroom and toilet area had no lights, making it very dark. Aside from that, it was still good. The bathroom reminded me a bit of the Conrad in Hangzhou. Breakfast was decent, pretty standard."

"Discover a city by staying within a garden." We go beyond providing mere accommodation, striving to create an immersive living experience that integrates Yangzhou's regional spirit and carries forward its millennia-old cultural heritage. Every moment spent here is destined to become a cherished urban memory.

"Overall: Felt right at home, beautiful environment. We arrived quite late and looked at rooms in Building 8, Building 18, and Building 2. We ultimately chose Building 2. Building 8 was very new, but the remaining rooms didn't have much of a view. Building 18 felt like a typical star-rated hotel with a high room density, which didn't fit our idea of a garden-style hotel and lacked unique character. Building 2 was charmingly antique. After its renovation in 2025, it retained its pavilion and pagoda style. The balcony was the highlight – the greenery and sunlight pouring in during the day were so therapeutic. Personally, even though it was the lowest-priced among the three buildings, I felt it offered the best rooms. I really loved the staff; everyone was incredibly warm and friendly. The shuttle service was available on demand. We decided to skip our planned trip to Nanjing and extend our stay by a day after arriving."

"The hotel's facilities are excellent. The front desk staff, particularly a young woman named Ashley, was incredibly warm and professional. She enthusiastically guided us to the guest room elevators, and even took the time to explain the hotel's layout, including the parking garage, breakfast area, and the 24-hour executive lounge. Her genuine enthusiasm and personalized service, rather than just a robotic greeting, truly impressed me and left a lasting positive impression. This level of service, characterized by genuine care and warm communication beyond mere professionalism, seems to be a consistent theme throughout the hotel. For example, the breakfast plates were warm – a rarity even in many five-star hotels in mainland China and Hong Kong, where plates are often cold. This hotel truly embodies five-star service."

Hotel near Hexia Ancient Town/Zhou Enlai Memorial,Huai'an
XiaoHu International Hotel is situated by the picturesque Xiao Lake, adjacent to the memorial hall of Premier Zhou Enlai and the ancient town of Hexia, which boasts a history spanning over a thousand years. The hotel offers a distant view of the Grand Canal and is conveniently located just 5 kilometers from the entrance to the Jinghu Expressway and 10 kilometers from Huai'an East Railway Station. With its rich history, vibrant culture, and convenient transportation options, our hotel provides exceptional service for travelers coming from both north and south.

"First, the location: It's quite close to Hexia Ancient Town, about a fifteen-minute walk to Wu Chengen's Former Residence and Shen Kun's Champion Residence within the town. This seems to be the south gate entrance to the ancient town. It's convenient whether you're taking a taxi or driving. Facilities: Very comprehensive. There's a gym and a pool. I specifically checked out the gym – it has treadmills, elliptical machines, and stair climbers, all on the basement level. There's also a billiard table, so don't miss it if you're interested. Hygiene: As expected from a large hotel, the cleanliness is impeccable. Everything inside and out is spotless, clean, and grand. Takeaway boxes placed outside the room are quickly collected by staff. Room cleaning is also very thorough; they even provide extra slippers and toothbrushes, which is a thoughtful touch. Service: Overall pretty good, but I do have a minor complaint. During holidays, many guests travel with children, staying in one room. The breakfast allowance was particularly tight. I've stayed in many hotels over the years, and most either proactively provide breakfast vouchers for three people upon check-in or assume a child is included when entering. Here, I was given a rather stern explanation about the hotel's rules, which was a bit frustrating. Of course, this one issue doesn't overshadow the other services. Also, the central air conditioning was extremely hot. Thankfully, they provided an air cooler (or perhaps an air circulator, I'm not sure what it's called) which at least made the room less stuffy. Overall, it was still a good stay."

We stayed 1 night in this lovely hotel on a Sunday night. We managed to check in early at 1 pm and was upgraded from the 30 sqm king room we booked to a larger 41 sqm room. The room is new and used lovely bath amenities, an Australian hotel brand. Our stay came with a set dinner for 2 persons and the food was delicious. The pricing in the hotel restaurant is similar or cheaper than any other regular Chinese restaurant outside. We paid the next day at lunch time to eat Chinese food at the hotel again as the restaurant environment is nice and service is good. They have a very well equipped gym which unfortunately we did not have time to use during our 24 hour stay. Our room rate included breakfast and the selection was generous, the only negative would be the coffee beans they used are too acidic but that’s a personal preference. The location of the hotel is slightly to 1 side of the Suzhou old city but some sights like 网师园 are walking distance. Suzhou city is actually quite spread out, no one location is best for sightseeing. The great thing is didi only cost less than RMB10 per ride from this hotel so it is still very convenient. I would not bother with the Suzhou subway, it is not as convenient as the one in Shanghai. Oh yes, the cable TV have english programming which is nice for a hotel in China. I believe this Artyzen Habitat brand is managed by the Macau Shun Tak group. Will stay here again for good value and service. 这个酒店非常好,值得回来再住。五星级的设施,四星级的价钱。

Last May Day, we visited the Club Med in Taicang, and the GOs recommended the newly opened Club Med in Nanjing. This summer, I brought my child here for a weekend (three days, two nights) during the school holidays, and the experience was fantastic, definitely a full five-star rating! **Accommodation:** The rooms were clean and tidy, and the housekeeping was meticulous. The cleaning staff were very friendly and patient, always refilling our drinking water. The resort grounds are spacious and comfortable, with excellent natural surroundings. You can overlook the lake from the balcony, offering a wide and open view. **Activities:** There are plenty of facilities for play, both indoors and outdoors. We happened to be here during a heatwave, so we mostly opted for indoor activities. The indoor sports area includes basketball, badminton, table tennis, billiards, and rock climbing, as well as a 'parkour' area (similar to an adventure course) that my child loved, which we visited for two consecutive days. You can also book KTV sessions. When it's hot, you can also sit at the U Bar and play cards, which is very relaxing. Outdoor activities are also abundant. You can cross a bridge to 'Explore Park,' where you can try archery, kayaking, windsurfing, or even the 'flying trapeze.' However, the flying trapeze requires training, and you need to be able to hang from a bar with both hands for at least ten counts. Neither of us had that much grip strength (we could only manage up to five), so we just watched other 'experts' try it. Kayaking was quite nice; the lake water was clear, and there were little ducks swimming around. It's best to go in the late afternoon, around 5-6 pm, to avoid the intense sun for a better experience. My sister and I kayaked together, and circling the large lake wasn't tiring at all. It's suitable for mothers or older children with moderate physical fitness. **Service:** The butler service was online throughout our stay, with quick responses and smooth communication. Whether it was booking activities or requesting supplies, they responded and handled everything promptly. When we wanted a clothes drying rack for our swimwear on the balcony after swimming, it was provided very quickly, which was incredibly thoughtful and professional. Being peak summer holiday season, the restaurant entrance traffic was also managed efficiently; just stating your room number allowed for quick entry, which was very user-friendly. Here, you can shed your fatigue and quietly enjoy your holiday. I'm already planning to come back when the weather isn't so scorching (the 'furnace city' reputation is certainly well-deserved). **Two additional points:** There's an external food delivery pick-up point near the entrance, which is very convenient. I also loved the hotel's lighting fixtures; they were very artistic. Finally, a big thank you to our butler, KIKI Angel, for the excellent service!

The Kimpton Bamboo Grove Suzhou is absolutely the pinnacle of atmospheric getaways in Suzhou, truly a hidden gem of a garden hotel! Friends who love the ancient charm of Jiangnan and a relaxed vacation vibe will fall deeply in love with this place. The location is truly irreplaceable; nestled in the heart of the ancient city, adjacent to the Master of the Nets Garden and Canglang Pavilion, you step right out into the bustling streets and alleys of old Suzhou. It's within walking distance to commercial areas, offering tranquility amidst the hustle and bustle. You can easily explore ancient streets and visit gardens, yet still enjoy peace and quiet within the hotel – the location is simply superb. The room experience is incredibly refined and comfortable. The room types are bright and airy with excellent natural light, and the courtyard rooms come with a private small courtyard, allowing you to admire the Suzhou garden scenery right from your bed. The in-room amenities are high-end and complete, featuring branded toiletries and exceptionally high-quality bedding that is soft against the skin and provides comfortable support, ensuring a particularly peaceful night's rest. The independent bathroom is well-designed with thoughtful details, and the mini-bar is fully equipped and convenient to use. Overall, it feels both homey and luxurious, with every detail exuding quality. What's most heartwarming is the hotel's butler service, which is attentive, meticulous, and responsive throughout. They communicated needs in advance before check-in and were on call during our stay, carefully attending to every aspect from travel and daily routines to replenishing supplies. Their service was gentle yet discreet – special thanks to Ambo! The hotel lobby also features an adorable Golden Retriever named 'Little Sister Jin,' who is incredibly therapeutic. The open and relaxed atmosphere, combined with subtle hints of everyday life, breaks away from the monotonous business hotel model, preserving the unique gentle charm of Jiangnan. It's a niche, luxurious, and highly recommendable place for repeat stays!

I’d call this hotel a ‘soul-healing pod for city dwellers’ ✨ At first, I was just drawn in by the gentle vibe in the pictures. It's funny how you just know when something's right – the moment I clicked on it, I thought, 'Yep, this is the one.' But staying here turned out to be even more therapeutic than I imagined. When I checked in, the front desk guy upgraded my room, and my heart melted the moment I opened the door to that scenic balcony. The evening breeze in Suzhou recently has been as soft as cotton candy. After a shower, I sat on the balcony, just zoning out. No mosquitoes, no traffic noise, just the night sky and the occasional cool gust. At that moment, I felt like a leaf that had been ironed flat 🍃. I also have to rave about the wellness programs here! The sound bath with singing bowls was my little nightly treat; the sound rippled through the dark like a brain massage. The oxygen chamber and the Xiaoyu therapy bed were my 'sleep switches' – the second time I lay on that massage bed, I just drifted off... The therapists tailored the treatments to my physical condition; it wasn't a one-size-fits-all routine. I truly felt 'seen' and 'cared for.' Even on a solo trip, I felt completely at ease. Although the hotel is in the city, the soundproofing is like another dimension. It’s super close to Humble Administrator's Garden, Guanqian Street, and Pingjiang Road. Delivery food was available whenever I wanted it; I could even summon nearby Suzhou-style snacks with a click. One day, I ordered all three meals for delivery, and the front desk guy even offered to bring them up to my room – seriously, their thoughtfulness made me want to give them candy 🍬. Mini-bar, fruit, and a nightly 'goodnight soup' were all provided daily. It was pure bliss. I initially only planned to stay for two days, but it was so comfortable that I extended my stay for another night. After three days, my shoulders and neck felt relaxed, and even my breathing had slowed down by half a beat. I think I'll be back. Not just for that evening breeze, that bed, or that delivered bowl of Suzhou mung bean soup, but also for the gentle 'I hope you rest well' look in every staff member's eyes here. Whether you're alone or with someone, this place will gently embrace you. 🌙
