"Highly recommended! My stay at the Wyndham Grand Yichang exceeded expectations this time, and I must commend the hotel butler! The service was incredibly thoughtful and attentive. They proactively offered a complimentary extra bed and even included free breakfast, which solved our accommodation challenges during the trip. The butler was responsive and genuinely warm, showing great attention to detail. The hotel environment was clean and comfortable, with excellent facilities, and the overall service was very human-centered. This is definitely my top choice for accommodation when traveling, and I'll choose Wyndham Grand again next time I'm in Yichang. I strongly recommend it to all travelers!"

"The hotel's location is super convenient, with direct access to the subway from the second basement level, making getting around incredibly easy. Our room was on a high floor, very quiet with good soundproofing, and offered expansive views of the city and the beautiful Shahu Lake. The breakfast selection was rich, with plenty of Chinese and Western options. There were also many local Hubei specialties, and the Hot Dry Noodles and Xiangyang Yellow Wine were particularly authentic and delicious. Since we were a family of three, both the front desk and the breakfast manager proactively offered a complimentary breakfast for one person. Other staff members were also very service-oriented, always asking if we needed help, for example, with luggage. Overall, our stay was quite pleasant, and we'd be happy to stay here again if we have the chance! However, there were a few minor issues that, if improved, would make the experience even better: 1. During check-in, the front desk requested a deposit for incidental expenses, which caught us by surprise. It was the first time we'd encountered this situation. Even after we stated we wouldn't be using any chargeable items in the room or other hotel services, the front desk still tried to persuade us to pay the incidental deposit. Finally, seeing my obvious displeasure, they stopped insisting. This somewhat affected my first impression of the hotel. 2. The breakfast on Monday and Tuesday was almost identical. It would be better if there was more variety. 3. While there were many Hubei specialty breakfast items, the 'mian wo' (fried dough ring) was burnt but not crispy (a bit hard in texture). The dish labeled 'preserved pork and bean thread noodles' had very little preserved pork and more shredded meat; it tasted fresh but lacked the distinct aroma of preserved meat and was a bit salty and greasy. At the Hot Dry Noodles station, there were bottled chili oil and homemade chili oil, but neither had a noticeable spicy kick, which was a small disappointment."

"On a road trip, we decided to take a break in Suizhou and randomly picked this hotel. To our surprise, it was a fantastic find! The hotel recently opened, and the front desk staff was incredibly welcoming, even upgrading us to a lake-view room. The night view from the window was captivating, and the room itself was spotless. The surrounding area is very convenient, with a Wanda Plaza right across the street. Breakfast is served on the 23rd floor, and there's a lovely terrace overlooking the lake – a truly delightful experience!"

"Traveling solo, I'd heard Wuhan was a bit of a 'hotel desert,' and unfortunately, that turned out to be true. First off, the front desk attendant was very friendly and upgraded my room, which was great. However, there were some issues with the room's cleanliness – I could definitely smell that damp, musty carpet odor, though it wasn't a major problem. The hotel has no exterior views, which is negligible, but it's *very* close to residential buildings, so I practically kept the curtains closed the entire stay. On the plus side, the butler service was very responsive, and the underground parking was spacious and easy to use. Breakfast was à la carte, and the Eggs Benedict was quite tasty. Overall, it was an unremarkable stay. I hope they can improve their user-friendly amenities, like providing phone stands."

"Had a fantastic stay! The hotel's location is superb, right next to Chu River Han Street and the subway station, making it incredibly convenient for getting around and shopping. The jade mural in the lobby is stunning and grand, and our room was spacious, tidy, with soft and comfy bedding. The soundproofing was excellent too. The butler service was attentive and professional, always there to help with anything we needed. Breakfast offered a great variety of authentic dishes. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit to Wuhan!"

"The staff really deserve a special mention! Luna at the front desk was incredibly warm and professional. She made the check-in process smooth and efficient, patiently explaining all the hotel facilities and local attractions. Any requests we had during our stay were promptly addressed, and her service was perfectly balanced – attentive without being intrusive. You could truly feel the five-star professionalism in every detail; it was incredibly thoughtful. When we checked out, Linda in the lobby was also very friendly, asking about our stay and even gave us a small gift. I also need to thank Eric from concierge for helping me find my lost bag – I'm so grateful! The hotel itself is stunning, with French-inspired architecture blending beautifully with views of the Three Gorges. The ambiance is elegant and peaceful. The lobby design is very artistic, and the landscaped garden paths and lawns are beautifully arranged. My absolute favorite was the outdoor pool – it's massive and very impressive, perfect for photos! The value for money here is exceptional. Le Méridien will definitely be my top choice when I visit Yichang again."

"All the staff at the hotel were incredibly warm and friendly, right from the greeters, front desk, and manager, to housekeeping and everyone we met in the restaurant. The hotel facilities are also excellent, and parking is convenient! The complimentary buffet dinner included with our booking was fresh and abundant! We were absolutely delighted! I didn't take any photos of the hotel itself, but I did manage to snap a picture with 'Jiu Ge,' Dali (the horse), and Rifle (the dog) whom I encountered in the hotel parking lot – just wanted to note that down!"

I initially booked a hotel for that night on Ctrip, but later saw a discounted package deal. I immediately contacted customer service to modify my booking, and they listened to my request and contacted the hotel promptly to change the order. We were extremely satisfied! 👍 Furthermore, the hotel service was excellent, thoughtful, and attentive. A small note with a greeting was like a warm current dispelling the chill. In short, it was a truly unforgettable experience."
