"This is a wonderful hotel. The rooftop terrace was our favourite. The location is convenient, it’s a short ride to all the main attractions and places. Staff at front desk were very helpful, they helped order my sister a new bag, and they even went out of their way to deliver the belongings my sister accidentally left behind to our new hotel after we had already travelled to the next city in China. Our room was spacious, we had a microwave in there to warm up our late night takeaways and a washing machine too. 10/10 for convenience and comfort. Thank you to the Yihotel staff, you have made our stay truly wonderful."

"It was an interesting stay. Great location right off the shopping boulevard. The hotel has a bar and two restaurants. A spa, a foot spa, and gym. We had lounge access which was a nice bonus but not really worth the extra money. You get free breakfast, appetizers from 6-8, and lounge access for coffee and sodas from 1-930. The breakfast was yummy. Offered a wide selection of food with regional dishes to western foods. One of the few places I’ve traveled outside the US that has actual bacon. We never waited but there was a sign saying there were peak hours. Check in was great. I had an issue with a bag left in a DiDi and the front desk agent went out of his way to help me get in touch with driver to recover my bag. The room much like the rest of the hotel feels trapped in that fake opulence that was popular awhile back. The shower was awkward because of its shape but it did have a rain shower which was nice. One of the few hotels I’ve been in lately that didn’t have the bath stuff bolted to the wall (though it probably wouldn’t fit). Huge tub and large fluffy towels. My daughter and I both left with some bug bites from our stay not bed bugs but definitely something. The biggest drawback to the room is the lack of functional outlets. One bed has no open plugs or usb ports the other bed has a wonky extension cord with some usb ports. Found one other usb in the room in the desk area. The hotel is doing some work apparently later this month so hopefully they bring it into this century. One thing I didn’t discover until the next day is there is an entrance from the back of the hotel right on the big shopping street. There’s also a cute little food court right there where you can grab a pretty decent variety of food. One warning is didi and food delivery have a hard time with the address"

"This time, when I brought my child to Shanghai for a trip, I still chose the Crowne Plaza Shanghai Nanjing Road. After a tiring full day at Disneyland, we arrived at the hotel and were grateful for the room upgrade to a suite. After checking out, we realized we had left a bag behind. A big thank you to staff member #066 who helped us find it and even arranged for it to be couriered home. The service here is absolutely amazing! Thank you very much! ❤️❤️"

The Amara Shanghai is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. Visitors to Shanghai will find that the Amara Shanghai is a fantastic accommodation choice. Boasting a convenient location, the hotel is just 5km from Shanghai Railway Station and 12km from Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport. Transportation around the city is also convenient, with Changshou Road Metro Station within walking distance. Seeing Shanghai's sights from this hotel is easy with Shanghai Art Theater, Jingan Temple and Shanghai Jade Buddha Temple all close by. At the end of a busy day, travelers can unwind and relax in the hotel or go out and enjoy the city. This Shanghai hotel features parking on site. Our guests rate this hotel as one of the best hotels for cleanliness. Perfect for those working on the move, this hotel caters to a large number of business guests.

"This hotel is located on Changshou Road, within walking distance of Metro Lines 7 and 13, making it convenient to get to Jing'an Temple and the Bund. There's a wide variety of dining options nearby. The rooms are business-chic and spacious, with a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom and Australian toiletries. High-floor rooms offer excellent views. Public facilities include an outdoor pool and a gym. The breakfast spread is extensive, and there's a Thai restaurant and a Western restaurant on-site. The concierge and room service are attentive, though there can sometimes be a wait at the front desk during check-in. A downside is that room access is restricted to your floor, and parking is charged. Overall, the value for money is upper-middle among five-star hotels in the city, making it suitable for business travelers."

Hotel near People's Square Area,Shanghai
The hotel is a mid-to-high-end brand under BTG Homeinns Group. It features a perfect blend of classic tradition and modern fashion, integrating oriental charm and Western craftsmanship. Adopting a variety of freehand aesthetic design elements, the hotel creates an exclusive stylish accommodation space to meet the social and emotional needs of business travelers with diverse tastes, and incorporates humanistic care into all products and services. Nestled in the heart of Shanghai Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, the hotel is located at the former site of the century-old Sincere Department Store, brimming with nostalgic old Shanghai vibes. It serves Chinese and Western buffet breakfast, and its restaurant gathers distinctive delicacies at home and abroad, including truffle light meals and exquisite afternoon tea, making it an ideal venue for family and friends gatherings. To further upgrade the service experience, we have launched exclusive local experiences: distinctive intelligent short video shooting. The hotel provides cheongsam dressing, makeup and styling services, enabling guests to enjoy vintage Shanghai-style Internet-famous check-ins, Shanghai-themed portrait photography, and immerse themselves in the nostalgic charm of the old Shanghai Bund. The hotel is adjacent to People's Square, Madame Tussauds Shanghai, City God Temple, Yuyuan Garden, the Bund and Huaihai Road Business District. Across the river, you can overlook the Oriental Pearl Tower and Shanghai World Financial Center. It is within walking distance to Exit 5, 6 and 19 of People's Square Metro Station (Line 1, 2, 8) and Exit 1 of East Nanjing Road Metro Station (Line 10). Boasting extremely convenient transportation, it offers a pleasant environment and a comfortable free journey for every guest. Yitel is like a beautiful melody played by Chinese and Western musical instruments. It is just like wandering along a forest path, listening to the gurgling stream, cleansing the dust and weariness of the soul.

"The location is great, near to many famous food places and shopping district. However, the hotel room is small, bathroom is small too. The room has a smell of mouldy air con, or clothes not dried with sun kind of smell that lingered for long. They don’t change bedsheets or blanket covers unless requested (we stayed five nights). And after night 3 I requested cos it was dirty. Ordering food and collection of Taobao parcels were easy. Service staff were friendly. So all they need is really a Reno I guess. Oh there is no drop off area for hotel so getting on cabs or didi was a bit difficult but doable."

Hotel near Yu Garden Area,Shanghai
Located in the Huangpu District of central Shanghai, Mercure Shanghai Yu Garden is near the famous Yuyuan Garden. It is within 5 minutes walk to Metro Line 10 Yuyuan Station and Line 8 Laoximen station. The hotel is only 10 minutes away from Xintiandi, Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street and the Bund. It is also surrounded by shopping malls and entertainment outlets. The hotel features 223 stylish rooms, a Chinese and French buffet breakfast restaurant and gym, which will be the ideal choice for business and leisure travellers.

"We stayed with two children, and they upgraded us to a Little Yellow Duck themed room, which the kids absolutely loved. The complimentary scheduled shuttle service was a thoughtful touch. On our first day, we wanted to go to Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street. Just as we were about to call a taxi, the shuttle driver told us he could take us directly and advised us not to bother with a taxi, which was super convenient. Heartwarming late-night snack: We could enjoy a late-night snack after returning to the hotel. They offered mini wontons and mixed noodles. The mini wontons were delicious, and the kids really enjoyed them. Cleanliness: Overall, it was excellent! Minibar all-you-can-drink: There were sodas, and for the kids, oat milk and cookies. The cookies were incredibly tasty! Ordering takeout was also very convenient, with a robot delivering it directly to the room. Another shout-out to the hotel: I accidentally booked an extra room on another platform but forgot about it. The hotel proactively contacted me, which was very considerate, and they even refunded me in the end. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for family travel."

Hotel near The Bund Area,Shanghai
UrCove by HYATT Shanghai On The Bund at No. 15 Zhongshan East 2nd Road in Shanghai's Huangpu District, UrCove by HYATT offers a prime location between the historic Great World Building complex and the vibrant Shiliupu Cruise Terminal. Across the river, the Lujiazui skyline—including the Oriental Pearl Tower and Shanghai Tower—provides a stunning backdrop.Part of the Hyatt group, UrCove blends thoughtful service with modern convenience. The hotel features 129 smart rooms, robotic assistants, a self-service dining area, 24h fitness and laundry facilities—ideal for both business and leisure stays.Guests can relax in the innovative "UrCove Space" lobby with coffee and light bites, balancing work and relaxation throughout their journey.

"The hotel room is spacious, clean, and large enough to comfortably open two 30-inch suitcases. The room, however, could benefit from better soundproofing, as conversations from guests walking along the corridor can be heard quite clearly. One downside of the hotel is the lift arrangement. Guests staying on Levels 3–5 need to transfer lifts at Level 2, which can be inconvenient, especially when carrying luggage. The hotel provides two complimentary bottles of water daily, but additional bottles are available upon request from the front desk staff. A highlight for guests with long hair is the Laifen hairdryer provided in the room, which dries hair quickly and efficiently. The hotel also offers two types of pillows, including a memory foam option for added comfort. Laundry facilities are available with commercial-grade washers and dryers, though you may need to wait during peak periods, particularly on Sunday evenings. Overall, the hotel offers comfortable rooms and useful amenities, with only a few areas that could be improved."

HHuifeidejinyuerThe B&B has adorable little bunnies you can feed, and in the evening, we sat in the courtyard chatting and even saw the Disneyland fireworks! 🎆 The Chinese breakfast spread was quite generous, and they even had freshly ground coffee ☕️. The surroundings are peaceful, and they offer shuttle service to Disneyland. Overall, it was a very satisfying stay, and we'll definitely be back this summer.

GGuest UserBooked this hotel specifically for Disney and the experience exceeded expectations. The room is clean and tidy, there is no dead corner of hygiene, and it is very comfortable to stay. The breakfast buffet has a wide variety of dishes to satisfy different tastes. The most thoughtful thing is that there is a free shuttle bus from Disney, so you don't have to worry about planning your own journey. The surrounding facilities are mature, it is very convenient to eat and take a taxi, and the location is excellent. Highly recommended for a family or group trip. This hotel is a great choice for a Disney trip. The rooms are spotlessly clean and the attention to detail is exceptional. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty, just right for a good start. The hotel provides a free shuttle to and from Disney, which saves money and worry. The surrounding environment is excellent, there are many restaurants, there are many choices to eat, and it is very convenient to take a taxi at the door. Full marks for the overall experience, great value for money and will stay here again next time I visit Disney.

DDayanjingzhendemengI booked this room in advance for the high school entrance exam. The service was excellent, every staff member was smiling. The room's cleanliness was average, with some small flying insects, but that might be due to the plum rain season. Breakfast was very standard; it had everything you needed to fill up, but it wasn't particularly good. The gym and laundry room are combined, a small space but with all the essentials. The hotel is surrounded by an old residential area with lots of food options, which is very convenient.

GGuest UserThis was my first time staying at this hotel, and my overall experience truly exceeded expectations. I initially chose it just for its downtown location, but I was pleasantly surprised by everything from the ambiance to the views. [coffee][coffee][coffee] I stayed in the Bund View Junior Suite, and the most striking impression was the absolutely superb view and stunning night scenery. The bay window in the room was truly the highlight; the view was expansive and unobstructed. Sitting by the window, you could look directly at the Huangpu River and the Oriental Pearl TV Tower. During the day, you could clearly see the scattered city buildings of Lujiazui, creating a fantastic atmosphere. Once night fell and the city lights came on, the entire cityscape was visible – the dazzling river view and the clear city nightscape were all laid out before you. There's no need to specially crowd onto the Bund for sightseeing; you can enjoy Shanghai's top-tier night view right from your bed or the bay window, peaceful and therapeutic. It's also perfect for photos, which instantly made me fall in love with this room. The hotel's location is absolutely unbeatable, a prime downtown spot. There are numerous subway lines nearby, offering excellent connectivity. Whether you're heading to the Bund, Nanjing Road, Yu Garden, or various business districts and attractions, getting around is incredibly convenient, significantly cutting down on travel time. For those visiting Shanghai, this excellent location is a huge plus, making dining, entertainment, shopping, and travel all very easy. The location advantage is truly maximized. During my stay, I noticed that the hotel's facilities were well-suited to travel needs, with great attention to detail. The hotel's smart robot delivery service was incredibly convenient; you could request anything with a single click, and the robot would quickly deliver it to your room, saving time and hassle – a great smart experience. What pleased me most was the hotel's complimentary laundry room and gym, which are truly essential for guests staying away from home. After a tiring journey, you can easily exercise to relax and also wash and dry your clothes promptly. This is very thoughtful and greatly enhanced the comfort and value for money of my stay. Even more commendable was the hotel's service: polite, attentive, and prompt throughout. As soon as I arrived, a concierge staff member proactively approached to help with my luggage. The service was initiative and warm, making me feel very comfortable. The service throughout was not deliberate or perfunctory, striking just the right balance, gentle and thorough, without stiff formalities, conveying a very sincere attitude towards guests. Overall, my first stay experience was perfect. The room environment was clean and comfortable, the night view was top-notch, the location was excellent, transportation was super convenient, smart facilities were comprehensive, the accompanying laundry room and gym were extremely practical, and the staff service was very attentive. It's perfectly suited for couples, friends exploring, or business travelers on short stays. It has silently been added to my go-to list for Shanghai, and I will definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit Shanghai!
