"The hotel was very crowded, and there was a wait for check-in. However, while waiting, the front desk gave us temporary room cards so we could visit Panmen. The pool was the most crowded spot, with many coaches giving lessons both indoors and outdoors. It was swarming with people, and they splashed water everywhere without regard for others. It was only less crowded around noon and early in the morning. The breakfast was good and served until 10:30 AM. Although there was no announcement before closing, the local specialties were all delicious, and the fruit was very sweet. The only fresh juices available were carrot and cucumber. However, during our stay, there was renovation work on the floor above us, specifically floor drilling during nap time, with no prior communication. The assumption that guests wouldn't be in their rooms was very disappointing. We called the front desk to complain about the noise, and they kept saying they would look into it, but nothing was done. Eventually, my family had to go upstairs themselves to ask the workers to stop. Afterwards, the duty manager came to apologize and asked if the renovation could continue for just another hour... I almost laughed out loud. We paid to stay here, not to listen to construction noise. They finally offered a welcome fruit basket as an apology, which was also quite amusing, as other hotels provide welcome fruit upon check-in, but here you only get it if something goes wrong. Neither during check-in nor check-out were we asked if we had a car, nor were we informed that we needed to scan a QR code for free parking. It was also difficult to reach the front desk by phone, as it often rang for a long time without anyone answering."

"I booked this hotel for a badminton tournament at the Nantong Sports Exhibition Center. The lovely lady at the front desk upgraded me to a river view room, and watching the sunset from the 46th floor was absolutely delightful. The hotel is located in a complex with several other hotels. The room was spacious, the air conditioning worked great, and the shower had excellent water pressure, which was very comfortable. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Nantong. Just a small suggestion for the front desk: it would be helpful to have a notice about the parking fees, so guests don't have to ask at reception."

It offers both great value for money and a relaxing atmosphere. **I. Irreplaceable Location Advantage** The hotel is separated from Slender West Lake by a body of water and features an exclusive express通道 for guests. You don't have to queue at the main scenic area entrance; you can walk directly to the core area by the lake. Building No. 1, Shoufanyuan, where we stayed, is the closest building to Slender West Lake in the entire hotel. From the room window, you can see a small patch of lake view with weeping willows, enjoying the scenery of Slender West Lake without even leaving your room. Additionally, Building No. 1 is only a 2-minute walk from the Black Pearl-rated Qüyuan Teahouse, making it incredibly convenient to enjoy authentic Yangzhou morning tea without a long trek through the park. **II. Exclusive Features and Immersive Ambiance** 1. **Commemorative Souvenirs:** You can get exclusive hotel postcards at the front desk, and there are several spots within the garden where you can stamp them as a souvenir. You can also get a custom room key card, which makes for a meaningful travel keepsake. 2. **Explore the Expansive Gardens:** The entire guesthouse is filled with pavilions, waterside terraces, rockeries, and long corridors, with lush greenery everywhere. Every step offers a new view, and you won't get tired even after strolling for half a day. The internal scenery is as exquisite as that of paid gardens. If you get tired of walking in the vast park, you can call for a free shuttle at any time. 3. **Weekend Intangible Cultural Heritage Performances:** On weekends, there are intangible cultural heritage mini-theaters, where you can watch Yangzhou's intangible cultural heritage puppet shows and folk music performances without having to leave the hotel. **III. Living Experience in Building No. 1 (Pros and Cons of the 'Old Cadre Style' Building)** **Pros:** 1. **Rich Historical Heritage:** In its early years, it was exclusively used for official government receptions, showcasing a classic 'old cadre' Chinese style. The solid wood furniture and sophisticated aesthetic are timeless and enduring, looking far from cheap. 2. **Waterside Location:** Surrounded by lush vegetation, the building offers maximum privacy and tranquility, with almost no noise from crowds. 3. **Well-Maintained Rooms:** Although it's an older building, the overall condition isn't outdated. The space is generous, and the bedding and soft furnishings are meticulously maintained. **Sole Drawback:** The bathroom hardware has a noticeable drawback: the shower pressure is low, and the water flow is weak, making for a mediocre experience when washing hair or showering. **IV. Overall Summary** There's a good reason why Yingbinguan consistently receives rave reviews: it boasts private views of Slender West Lake, its own Black Pearl-rated morning tea, vast garden grounds, unique commemorative souvenirs, and a full range of leisure activities. If you prefer a tranquil, retro atmosphere and want to experience the quality of a traditional state guesthouse, Building No. 1 is an excellent choice. The only thing you'll need to adapt to is the low shower pressure. If you're looking for brand-new modern facilities, consider buildings No. 8 or No. 18. For our trip, having already visited Slender West Lake, staying here meant we didn't need to re-enter the scenic area. We could enjoy a comparable lake and garden experience right within the hotel, perfectly meeting our need for a relaxed vacation."

"We brought our two young children to Yangzhou and stayed at this hotel, and our overall experience was excellent. The hotel's location is superb, making it very convenient for self-driving, and parking is also easy. The lobby has a grand and elegant ambiance, is clean and tidy overall, and the public areas are well-maintained. The guest rooms are spacious with comfortable bedding, and the hygiene details are meticulous, making it very reassuring to stay with children. Since the weather was bad, we booked the hotel's photo shoot service. We dressed the two children in traditional costumes without any extra styling, and the photos still exceeded our expectations. Xiaoran, the photographer from Shiqi Travel Photography, was especially patient and knew how to engage the children, capturing many natural and lively moments. She even thoughtfully retouched the children's makeup during post-processing, making the entire shooting process pleasant and enjoyable. Hotel service was excellent; the staff were friendly and responsive. The accompanying photo shoot service was a big bonus, allowing us to create precious memories for our trip even on a rainy day. Both in terms of travel convenience, accommodation environment, and ancillary services, this hotel is very suitable for family travel. Choosing this place for our trip to Yangzhou resulted in a very good overall experience, and it's highly recommended."

"The hotel room was quite spacious and well-equipped with all facilities. However, upon check-in, I specifically requested a quiet room, and I had also noted 'quiet and non-smoking' in my booking. After careful selection, the front desk assigned me a connecting room. After settling in, I wanted to change rooms, but the floor attendant assured me it wouldn't be noisy as there were doors on both sides, so I didn't switch. Later that evening, I could clearly hear phone conversations from the connecting room – it was extremely loud. Coincidentally, my room door also developed a minor fault. When the attendant came to fix it, I mentioned the noise issue. They immediately reported it, and the hotel responded very quickly, helping me change rooms. This swift action was highly commendable. Separately, a very important point to note is that there's a ditch behind every parking space. I didn't notice it the first time I parked and nearly took a huge tumble while retrieving my luggage. Thankfully, I reacted quickly and only scraped my hand. It's quite an odd design."

"I genuinely recommend the Yunqi Hotel in Suzhou! The overall design is a timeless Chinese style, and stepping into the hotel immediately makes you feel relaxed. Its transportation advantages are particularly outstanding, being close to two subway stations, which saves a lot of hassle when getting around and sightseeing. Check-in was very efficient, and the front desk staff were quick to respond. I must give a special shout-out to our butler, Xiao Yin, who provided attentive service throughout our stay. She escorted us to our room and even proactively shared local travel tips and recommended some hidden gems. You can really feel that the staff genuinely cares for every guest. Our entire stay was comfortable and pleasant, making it an excellent accommodation choice for a trip to Suzhou."

"First off, my child absolutely loved our stay in Xuzhou. They were so sad to leave! The staff were all incredibly warm and welcoming, even providing complimentary breakfast and toiletries for my little one. The front desk lady was very kind and gentle. The location is super convenient with the Metro Line 1 station (Xuzhou East) directly accessible, and attractions like Wenmiao Temple, Huilongwo, Fuguo Street, and Hubu Mountain are all within walking distance. The underground area connects to Suning Plaza, making shopping and dining a breeze. Golden Eagle and Wenmiao Street are right next door, and there are many small bars and snack stalls around in the evening – perfect for a stroll. Definitely a big recommendation! We stayed on the 55th floor, which my child adored. The room itself was pretty standard but clean, tidy, and well-equipped. Given the quality of the hotel and the service from the staff, it absolutely deserves a five-star rating. The breakfast was also absolutely fantastic with plenty of seating. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit to Xuzhou!"
