"It is unbelievable to find such an amazing Chinese style hotel in Dashilan area. We booked two rooms with two kids, hotel staff kindly provided extra supplies for us. It’s so easy to find delicious foods and souvenirs around, a vey satisfying stay experience. Moreover, kids really liked ancient garments and calligraphy activities. "The hotel was quite clean, with smart curtains and an excellent shower head that made for a very comfortable shower. Although it's near the airport, the design is clever, so it was relatively quiet. There's also a spacious parking lot, making parking very convenient.
My only minor complaint is that the front desk staff could have been a bit more enthusiastic and proactive during check-in. Currently, they're just average.

"I chose this hotel because I had an early flight. The facilities were just okay, but they offer a shuttle service to Terminal 2 in a few minutes, which was incredibly convenient. "We checked in on Sunday morning and were warmly welcomed by a helpful receptionist who assisted with luggage storage. Hotel room is clean, spacious, and well-furnished.
The hotel location is great, between Tiananmen Square and Wangfujing. However, scaffolding was set up around the building due to repair works. Despite this, the staff handled things well—helping us change rooms, fixing minor issues, and even returning items we left behind.
A staff member named Baozi stood out for his professionalism and helpfulness, especially when assisting us with Didi transport for our group and luggage.
Breakfast was average but convenient, starting at 6:30 a.m., though we missed it one day due to an early trip to the Badaling Great Wall."

"Really adorable setup! The hotel is located close by the South rail station, but it is kind of in this hidden alleyway behind a residential neighborhood. The hotel room itself was very clean, beds are soft, and the staff was very kind (they even gave both our rooms an upgrade!). The design of the hotel is also super vintage and cute!! They also have a complimentary breakfast which is convenient, and there are also a lot of restaurants near by. However, the showers were a bit strange. There was a curtain, but no floor barrier blocking the shower water from the rest of the bathroom. The entire bathroom becomes flooded whenever you shower (though it does drain eventually)."

My flight was at 5 PM, and the hotel kindly allowed for a late check-out, so we didn't have to rush our day, which was a huge plus. During our stay, they also provided complimentary fruits and yogurt, showing great attention to detail.
Downstairs, the hotel has its own charming little garden with adorable alpacas and squirrels, creating a relaxing and therapeutic environment. All food deliveries were handled by robots, which was both clean and convenient.
The airport drop-off driver was also very considerate, actively helping us with our luggage. The entire service was top-notch. Overall, the stay was excellent, offering incredible value for money. Highly recommend!"

Atmosphere in the hotel is so cozy and authentic, feels like you live in the old China town. In the courtyards there are tables where you can chill and have a morning cup of coffee.
Hotel staff was very willing to help, even though I don’t speak Chinese they went out of their way to help us with every question we had.
Very happy with my experience, will gladly stay here again.

Service was excellent. Staff can help with your laundry and accept your taobao parcels.
Just note that the restaurant is currently under renovation so there is limited breakfast selection. But the staff told me if I think the choices are too limited, they can always do a refund. Happy that they are being flexible. Overall, I am happy with the hotel and will stay here again if I ever come back to Beijing again.

Aallaine___I came via the HSR at Beijing West and decided to just stay around the area. It looks very unassuming outside much like the area around the railway station but the room inside is very clean and feels new!
The location is just a bit hard to find, but this is mostly due to how the whole Beijing West is. You have to walk across the parking lot at the north side of Beijin West to locate the hotel.
Close also to the metro line and there’s an airport bus also that goes straight to PEK nearby or the train going to PKX.

AArius83Stayed at Yard Hotel in Qianmen and the location is definitely one of its strongest points. It’s very convenient for exploring the area, with many attractions and places to eat nearby.
However, there are a couple of issues the hotel should seriously improve. Noise control needs attention. During our stay, while we were using the laundry area, another guest was speaking very loudly on her phone for quite a long time. Since this is a shared space inside the hotel, staff should monitor or remind guests to keep the noise down, as it can disturb others.
Another disappointing point was the breakfast service. When booking, it clearly showed on paper for ordering breakfast is written available from 5:00 AM to 11:00 AM. We selected 6:00 AM breakfast delivery, but upon arrival, the receptionist informed us that breakfast delivery only could be done at 7:30 AM. This mismatch between what is advertised and the actual service is frustrating, especially for guests with early schedules.
Overall, good location, but the hotel needs to improve guest experience by managing noise better and ensuring the breakfast information matches the actual service.

GGuest UserThis was my first stay at the Grand Millennium Beijing, and it exceeded my expectations by far. It wasn't overly crowded, so it felt very peaceful and quiet. The swimming pool is a major highlight, integrated seamlessly with the gym on a different floor, creating a spacious, high-ceilinged area with a Southeast Asian vibe. I encountered many Hong Kongers there, from business travelers in the elevator to an elderly couple in the executive lounge; they were all very humble and friendly. The surrounding area boasts a wide variety of restaurants, and the Fortune Plaza Mall is practically a canteen for Beijing's white-collar workers. The night view is also top-notch, with the CCTV Headquarters lit up beautifully. A pleasant surprise was bumping into a celebrity while working out – the 'rooster among roosters,' haha. The Grand Millennium is fantastic, giving me every reason to return. The male manager who handled my check-in was very gracious, and the service was just perfect.
