"Booked a collection executive room and was very happy with my room on the 29th floor with the most perfect view on Shanghai's skyline. Hotel is perfectly located on the Nanjing East road in the very center of Shanghai. Hotel itself and rooms are a bit worn out - need renovation in the nearest future but room was immaculately clean and provided with fresh bottled water every day. Breakfast was very good - both chinese and western. cuisine provided, lot of fruit, pastry and very good coffee. Special thanks to the executive lounge manager Annie who is the most friendly and helpful lady with perfect knowledge of english language. During the happy hours and afternoon tea time Ms. Annie explained clearly all the choices of food served and the beverages."

"This is my second time staying here. The hotel staffs are very friendly and helpful. They try their best to accommodate us in all aspects. I bought a pair of shoes that would be delivered to the hotel on the next day, I informed the concierge and they thoroughly went through details of the expected parcel to prevent errors and miscommunication with the delivery. The next day when my parcel arrived, the concierge called and make sure the parcel delivering was the correct one for me. As for the house keeping, they noticed that we drank all 4 bottles of complimentary water everyday and from our 3rd day of staying onward they gave us 6 bottles without our request. Not to mention that I accidentally spilled milk over my bed in the rush, I informed the front desk before we headed out and they enthusiastically told me not to worry they would send the house keeper to change my bed sheet right away. In the morning of our last day, Oliver from the front desk called to confirm our check out and informed that hotel’s check out time was twelve noon. They also asked how many luggage we had and what time would we want the concierge to come collect them which I told them to come up around 11am, and at 11am sharp they rang on my door. Oliver from the front desk came along with the concierge, accompanied us down and helped us through the check out process and luggage deposit. Around 1:30 pm when we came back from lunch, our luggage was ready for us to pick up and headed out to the airport."

"This old-school five-star hotel under the InterContinental Hotels Group really lived up to its reputation. The location is super convenient, right on Nanjing Road, the 'Paris of the East,' making it easy to check in even after enjoying Shanghai's nightlife. I especially loved the mousse cake at breakfast 🍰, absolutely delicious. The front desk staff were incredibly professional and welcoming, truly exceptional!"

"The location is a bit off from the middle, and the nearest subway exit is also not that close. Tha building is 25 yrs old, it shows in the quality of the rooms and the interior of the revolving restaurant. The room is small and simple, however the cleanliness was not the best. I found some hairs around in the bathroom. Also the shower was dirty a bit. They give you a very simple slipper, 4 bottles of water/day, toothbrush+toothpaste, there is a waterheater, some tea and instant coffee in thr room, safe, iron, a bathrobe so the room is well equiped. The view is extremly good if you are in the upper rooms. Mine was on lvl46. The wifi is bad, also one of my e-mail accounts got hacked not soon after logging on on it, so DO NOT USE the hotel wifi! The breakfast is good, there is a lot to choose from and the view is extremly good."

"Everything was perfect, from the front desk staff, garage and ground parking attendants, those issuing parking vouchers and inputting license plates, to the housekeeping on each floor, and the restaurant and executive lounge service teams—everyone was friendly, polite, and patient. During the day, doormen in European-style uniforms assisted with car drop-offs and luggage handling. The dining options were plentiful and of high quality. Both the hotel's interior and exterior, as well as the room condition, exceeded expectations. The suite was furnished to feel like a home, complete with various furniture and amenities. The executive lounge environment was also very elegant and comfortable, and the hotel is close to the ferry and cruise terminals. As a Bund hotel, it offers excellent value for money overall and is a perfect place to enjoy beautiful scenery, delicious food, and unwind."

"I brought my grandson to Shanghai and we stayed at the Grand Hyatt Jin Mao for two nights. It was excellent value for money! The front desk staff gave us a room on the 77th floor and also included executive lounge access for meals. We could have used the 83rd-floor lounge from 6:30 AM to 8 PM daily, though we were out sightseeing most of the time and didn't get to eat there. The views from the 77th floor were absolutely stunning, especially at night, with the Oriental Pearl TV Tower and Shanghai Tower right before our eyes. Getting around was super convenient too, with Metro Line 14 right downstairs. With such a great location and amazing hotel service, I'll definitely be staying at the Grand Hyatt Jin Mao again if I get the chance."

"This stay far exceeded expectations and must give it a full review! It is very close to the Bund, with a prime location and convenient transportation. The surrounding facilities are complete, making travel, shopping, and dining very convenient, making it ideal for both business trips and vacations. The check-in procedures are efficient and fast. The front desk staff are warm and friendly, patiently answering various questions and proactively providing thoughtful service, instantly bringing a sense of warmth. The room is clean and tidy, with a rational layout. The space is spacious and bright, and it is well-ventilated and well-lit, with no unpleasant odors whatsoever. The bedding is soft and comfortable, with a mattress of moderate hardness, ensuring a good night's sleep until dawn. The toiletries are complete and of superior quality, and the bathroom features a scientifically designed separation of dry and wet areas, ensuring thorough cleaning without stains. The room is well-equipped and brand-new. The air conditioning provides excellent heating and cooling performance, has a full network signal, abundant TV programs, and a stable and sufficient hot water supply. Every detail demonstrates thoughtful attention. The hotel offers a quiet and elegant environment, with clean and orderly public areas. The decoration style is minimalist and elegant, creating a warm and comfortable atmosphere. The breakfast offers a wide variety of options, combining Chinese and Western elements. The ingredients are fresh and high-quality, delicious, and can meet diverse taste preferences, thus starting a vibrant and energetic day. If you have any needs during this period, contact customer service will be able to respond quickly and properly resolve them. The service is professional and considerate, providing a comprehensive and immersive experience throughout the entire process. The overall cost-performance ratio is extremely high, with flawless hardware facilities and software services. It offers an excellent stay experience and is highly recommended to everyone! "The room was very clean. The hotel is new and conveniently located near Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, just a 5-minute walk away. It's also very close to the Bund, making transportation incredibly easy. I'll definitely stay here again next time."

"Although the room was small, it was very well-appointed. From the window, I could see iconic landmarks like Shanghai Tower and the Oriental Pearl, and Jing'an Temple was right in front of me. The service was standard and reliable, always responsive to requests. Breakfast had limited options but was exquisite. The in-room dining service was very convenient. The wonton noodles I ordered the first time were exceptionally delicious, so I ordered them again today for lunch, but the taste and texture were significantly different, and I'm not sure why. The cuisine at the second-floor restaurant, Yuanyuan, was good and reasonably priced. The service there wasn't overly enthusiastic but was very thorough."

"I chose this Accor Mövenpick (the name is a bit hard to remember!) after comparing several hotels around the Shanghai Grand Theatre, where I was going to see the closing performance of Les Misérables' 40th anniversary. Many details made my stay very satisfying: the luggage service and front desk were both very professional. They offered a complimentary longan and red date tea from the bar, and since I didn't have time to drink it, I asked a staff member to pour it into my thermos and deliver it to my room. The toiletries in the room were Jurlique, everything in the room was very clean, and the drinking water was small bottles of mountain spring water. The main thing is, I realized I'd forgotten my glasses after I left for the show (which essentially meant losing half the ticket price because everything was blurry). There was no time to go back for them, so I called the front desk and asked housekeeping to find them in my room. At the same time, I ordered a runner service to pick them up from the front desk, and they were delivered to the theater with just minutes to spare. The excellent hotel service combined with the speed of a Chinese delivery rider was incredibly moving – definitely a five-star review! My only regret is not getting to try their supposedly amazing ice cream; I'll have to make up for it next time."
