"Good location as it’s along the Nanjing pedestrian lane ! .about 5 mins walk to the metro . Lots of food and restaurants when u step out of hotel . Many mega malls in Shanghai n easily acacia metro . Hotel room when we first check in was a king junior suite however its old design with dated furniture. The sofa is v dirty n causes us to itch when sitting on it . We were able to change our room to a newly renovated ones which was clean n modern . However the bathroom does not have any hooks or towel racks to hang up yr clothings or towels . Toilet is not fitted with bidet spray . But overall the newly renovated room was much better . The staff is v helpful in helping to change the room . Will stay again but in The newly renovated ones ."

"My stay at Campanile Jing'an Temple far exceeded my expectations. The lobby exudes French charm, with a subtle fragrance and lush greenery that instantly helps you relax. The room features a unique tatami design, with a well-thought-out layout. "The night duty manager at the hotel was excellent, efficiently and politely resolving the issue of our room not being cleaned. As an apology for the oversight, they offered two complimentary breakfasts, which they said were not usually included. However, upon arriving at the restaurant, we were met with disdain from the restaurant manager, who stared at me impolitely as if I was going to steal from the buffet. Another female manager behaved similarly. I wanted to ask, do I owe you money? Why is the male manager so enthusiastic towards foreign guests? Do I, a fellow Chinese national, not deserve your service? And to the other female manager, you are very observant; you immediately brought two cups of coffee after your supervisor arrived late. Don't guests who are not your supervisors deserve your service? As a Chinese person, I find such behavior utterly shameful."

"This newly renovated hotel is grand and bright. It's the designated hotel for the Jiushi Sharks and Shanghai Shenhua football club, so privacy is excellent. Security is strict but polite. When we checked in on the afternoon of the 4th, the front desk was great. Even though the occupancy rate was high, they kindly upgraded our room for free because we had a child. The larger room with a good view made our stay much more comfortable."

"I booked this hotel based on a friend's recommendation, and I'm glad I did. The room facilities are well-maintained, and the customer service is excellent. They even offer room service until after 10:30 PM! We also enjoyed a delicious dinner at the Chinese restaurant on the second floor – my kids loved it! While the breakfast buffet isn't super extensive, the quality of the food is very good. The location is fantastic, right next to Jing'an Temple and Jiuguang Department Store, making it super convenient for dining and shopping. Public transport is also easily accessible. The only minor downside is that the road outside can get quite congested, especially when trying to hail a taxi. It's fine if you're not in a rush, but it can be a bit of a hassle if you're on a tight schedule."

We had such an amazing experience at this Disney hotel, and I truly feel like this property deserves every bit of praise. My husband, our 6 kids, and I traveled all the way from Orlando, Florida in America, and after such a big trip, staying somewhere this welcoming, clean, and well-run meant so much to us. From the moment we arrived, the staff made such a strong impression on me. Every single person we interacted with was incredibly kind, welcoming, patient, and genuinely helpful. It did not feel fake or forced at all, it felt like they truly cared about making sure our stay was comfortable and special. One thing I really want to mention is that even with us traveling from America, the language barrier was honestly not hard at all when dealing with the staff. That was something I truly appreciated. Everyone was so kind, so patient, and so willing to help that communication never felt stressful. They made everything feel easy and comfortable, and that meant a lot, especially traveling with a big family and small children. No matter what we needed, they did their best to help us understand and made sure we felt taken care of. That level of effort, patience, and kindness goes a very long way, and they really made us feel welcome. The staff went above and beyond in so many little ways, and those things really added up. Any time I had a question, needed help, or wasn’t sure about something, someone was there with a smile, ready to help without hesitation. That kind of service stands out, especially when you are traveling with family, and it made such a huge difference for us. They were not just “nice” .They were the kind of staff that makes you stop and think, wow, these people really care. You can feel when people are just doing a job, and you can also feel when people are truly making an effort to give guests a great experience. This staff absolutely did that. Now let me talk about the cleanliness, because honestly this is one of the cleanest hotel properties and rooms I have ever seen in my life. I do not say that lightly. The moment we walked in, everything looked absolutely spotless. Not just tidy, not just “good enough,” but truly immaculate. The room looked fresh, polished, and cared for in a way that is hard to explain unless you see it for yourself. Every surface looked pristine. The floors were clean, the bathroom was shining, the bedding felt fresh and perfectly maintained, and the entire room gave that rare feeling of being deeply, properly cleaned. There was not that uneasy hotel feeling some places have where you start wondering what has or has not really been cleaned. This place felt the complete opposite. It felt sanitized, refreshed, and cared for to the highest standard. The room was so clean that it immediately made us feel comfortable enough to fully relax. When you are staying with children, cleanliness matters even more, and this hotel absolutely exceeded expectations. I noticed the details, and the details matter. The bathroom was spotless, the beds looked crisp and fresh, the furniture was clean, the floors looked amazing, and the whole room felt like it had been cleaned with real care and pride. Even beyond the room itself, the entire property was unbelievably clean. That is what impressed me so much. Usually a hotel might have a nice room, but the hallways, common areas, elevators, or grounds do not always match that same level of care. Here, the cleanliness was consistent everywhere. The entire property was beautifully maintained, and you could clearly tell that cleanliness is taken seriously at every level. Everything looked so well-kept, so polished, and so intentionally maintained that it honestly made the whole stay feel even more luxurious and relaxing. It is such a good feeling to be able to fully settle in and enjoy your stay without noticing dirt, neglect, or things being overlooked. This hotel gave us that peace of mind completely. You can tell there is real effort behind the scenes to keep ever

Came to Shanghai for a performance and stayed at One Lemon again! The location is absolutely fantastic. The hotel is incredibly, incredibly clean – truly a five-star standard. Due to a typhoon, my high-speed train was canceled, and I couldn't go home, so I extended my stay for another night through the mini-program. However, when it was time to switch rooms, there wasn't a clean one available. A huge shout-out to the front desk staff (the brother and sister who helped me)! They upgraded me to a double bunk bed for free. I was so touched! I'm going to love One Lemon forever! Will definitely be back next time!

They gave us an ideal room with a view of the Pearl Tower! The service was excellent; they really went out of their way to help us due to our flight cancellation because of a typhoon. At the reception, there were Russian-speaking hostesses, and the local hostesses also spoke decent English. The rooms truly felt like heavy luxury! Everything worked perfectly. On the downside, breakfast was very specifically Chinese, you really had to pick and choose what to eat to avoid food you weren't accustomed to. Also, the hotel allegedly miscalculated our stay twice, increasing the cost retroactively each time. Another unpleasant detail is that booking this hotel through Trip.com is considered a pre-booking, and you will effectively be charged twice at the hotel itself, plus a deposit for your stay. The pre-booking amount will only be refunded a few days after checkout – just be prepared for this.

An absolutely wonderful experience! **Facilities:** Even though it's an older hotel, I was initially worried the facilities might be outdated. But when I arrived, I realized there was no need to worry at all. The overall vibe is one of rich heritage and understated luxury, without feeling old-fashioned. I personally loved it. **Hygiene:** The hygiene was excellent; I didn't notice any issues. **Environment:** Simply fantastic. Both the hotel itself and the guests staying there collectively create an atmosphere that made me feel it was truly great value for money. This is a hotel with genuinely sincere service and a superb location, well worth experiencing. I absolutely loved it.

We had a wonderful stay at W Shanghai – The Bund and would definitely choose to stay here again. The hotel is stylish, very clean, and the facilities are excellent. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. We really appreciated that they accommodated a late check-out after our flight was delayed, which made the end of our trip much less stressful. The breakfast buffet had a fantastic selection of both Western and Chinese dishes, with plenty of variety each morning. We also enjoyed spending time at the outdoor pool and fitness centre, both of which were well maintained. One of the highlights was the outdoor bar area overlooking the Bund – it’s a beautiful place to relax in the evening with amazing views of the Shanghai skyline. The location is excellent and within walking distance of the Bund, making it easy to explore the area on foot. Overall, we had a very pleasant experience and would highly recommend W Shanghai – The Bund to anyone visiting Shanghai. It offers great service, excellent facilities, and an unforgettable view.

Hello! From August 13, 2018, to May 28, 2026, here I am again at the Grand Hotel Shanghai! All the furnishings and facilities are just as I remember them, and the service is as warm as ever. The only things that hint at the passage of time are the slightly worn leather on the desk and the somewhat aged bathroom fixtures; otherwise, everything is absolutely perfect! It boasts a fantastic location, incredibly warm service, and delicious, tasty breakfasts – especially that authentic bowl of Lanzhou pulled noodles 🍜. And the view of Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street right outside the window brings back so many memories; it truly feels like coming home. It's such a wonderful feeling! I know for next time, whenever that may be, I'll definitely choose it again. 🥰
