The air conditioning in the room was very loud, whether it was on or off. The other amenities and facilities were pretty good. No adapter was needed, and there were plenty of mirrors. Tea bags, coffee, and a mini-fridge were provided. The room itself was small, but the bathroom was spacious. Next time I visit, I'll definitely stay somewhere else, even though this was an upgraded room. However, I checked reviews for every hotel, and no place in the same price range had quiet air conditioning, so it might be a common issue.
The Venetian Macao boasts an elegant environment, excellent facilities, and professional, attentive service. The hotel's overall design is grand and magnificent, exuding a rich exotic charm. Guest rooms are spacious, comfortable, and impeccably clean. The staff are warm and meticulous, offering thoughtful care from check-in to check-out. With a wide variety of dining options and comprehensive shopping and entertainment amenities, it provides guests with a high-quality stay experience. It's an ideal choice for both leisure vacations and business trips, leaving a truly impressive mark.
In late May, I took a ferry from Hong Kong's Sheung Wan pier to Macau's Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal, then walked 20 minutes to the Rio Hotel. The hotel strictly enforces its 3 PM check-in policy, and there were many guests waiting to check in at that time, so we all had to queue up. The standard room was very spacious (much more so than Hong Kong hotels). I booked the hotel through Trip.com for an average of CNY 450 per night, which included breakfast for two (the breakfast was decent and suited to average tastes). The hotel is very close to Macau's famous landmark, the Ruins of St. Paul's, and is within walking distance. After checking out this morning, I stored my luggage and spent most of the day exploring Taipa. To get back to mainland China via the Gongbei Port, you can hitch a ride on the shuttle bus from the neighboring hotel.
I visited Taiwan in 2019, and now that I've explored Hong Kong and Macau, I've checked off all the boxes for my travels!
This retro-themed hotel offers a great experience. You can see the Ruins of St. Paul's from the 10th-floor rooftop, and the Senado Square fountain is right downstairs. The staff are warm and friendly. Next time I'm in Macau, I'll definitely stay at the New Central again!

This was my third stay. At check-in, I requested a room overlooking the pool, and the lovely lady at the front desk took a moment to arrange it for me. Thank you. This time, I visited the shop by the pool, and the service and attitude were noticeably different â much improved! The staff were all smiling. Perhaps the previous team has been replaced. Despite a small hiccup during my stay, I'm still giving a perfect score.
I feel that the management of this hotel is really dedicated to getting everything right; perhaps some of the lower-level staff haven't quite met those high standards yet. I also tried their spa this time, which was excellent. Overall, a satisfactory stay! đ
I've been to Macau many times, but this was my first stay at Grand Lisboa Palace. It's very conveniently located, with a direct shuttle bus from Macau Airport to the hotel. The staff in the lobby were incredibly welcoming, patient, and provided excellent service. The room was also very spacious and spotlessly clean. The hotel offers a wide variety of dining options too. I'd definitely want to stay at Grand Lisboa Palace again on my next trip to Macau.
The front desk staff, Erica, Yoyo, Ying, and Mia, were all incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is fantastic, with high-end amenities. My room had a Dyson, a coffee machine, and a smart toilet. The rooftop observation deck offers breathtaking sunset views! Women also receive complimentary fresh flowers, and a free printed photo as a souvenir!
Our premium sea view room offered a lovely ocean vista â I highly recommend requesting a higher floor. The hygiene was impeccable, making for a very comfortable stay. As for transportation, there are bus stops directly opposite and next to the hotel, covering most of the popular tourist attractions. If you're heading to The Londoner or The Venetian, you can walk just 5 minutes across to Sands Macao to catch their free shuttle bus, which is super convenient. For a hotel on the Macau Peninsula, it offers excellent value for money! Plus, it's only a 3-minute walk straight back from the famous Marco Polo Open Air Plaza.
First off, the room was absolutely massive! In Macau, where space is a premium, the W really isn't shy about giving you room to breathe. We could spread out our suitcases without them getting in the way, and there was a separate lounge area with a super comfy beanbag chair. The bathroom had dual sinks, and the shower was incredibly spacious too. But what really blew me away was the night view from the window! We were on a higher floor, right opposite the bustling Taipa district. When the lights came on at night, it was like the whole city transformed into a dazzling galaxy â the '8' Ferris wheel at Studio City, the Parisian Eiffel Tower... it was all there. Turning off the room lights and sitting by the window, watching the trails of car lights, felt truly magical and made for some amazing photos! And I have to rave about the breakfast! I honestly didn't have high expectations for hotel breakfast, but I was completely won over by the seafood congee. The congee base was incredibly smooth, and they were incredibly generous with the fresh prawns and scallops â I had three bowls! There was also freshly made wonton noodles with perfectly springy bamboo noodles. They even had Portuguese egg tarts and Serradura (sawdust pudding), so breakfast felt as satisfying as an afternoon tea.
My 2nd & 3rd visit in staying here at Studio City. My very 1st time in Macau was a hotel next street. Many restaurants in Studio City from basic dining to fine dining all under 1 roof. Most Suitable for young kids to old folks. We strongly recommend to stay here.
I had a wonderful stay at the Morpheus, the architectural and interior design was extraordinary. The futuristic feeling on the space was balanced with the natural light during the day, and lighting at night was beautiful. The service was excellent, all staffs were friendly and helpful, special thanks for the front operation staff Samuel who gave me a brief tour of the building. I had a great time and will definitely stay at the Morpheus again.
We celebrate here my daughter 8th birthday and the room was so big and the balcony view was do good. Love their services from check in up to check out.
Brian was very warm and friendly. He has helped with early check in and upgraded us to the suite room. The room was spacious and the view was great. The breakfast was yummy with lots of choices. Overall, highly recommended and will surely come back again.
We enjoyed our stay so much! Starting from the people in the lobby that are so so accommodating and always ready to listen to our queries. Food is nice, place is so relaxing. Another day off well spent for us!
