"Location is great as long as you are not looking for a place nearby restaurant and shops, but at the opposite, a particularly relaxing atmosphere with a great view. Room, swimming pool, dive club, beach are all in good conditions. Food wise, you have many good options. Staff are pleasant and have been efficient at solving one problem in our room. Nice gesture from the hotel, a free of charge new year eve buffet + live band + firework. Ok, we most likely paid it in our room rate, but honestly speaking price was reasonable especially since our room was able to accommodate 4 guests into 2 different rooms with its own bathroom, and breakfast was included. It's sufficiently rare to be mention. Too many hotels are charging scandalous price for Christmas of New Year. Not the spirit at Casalay. Last but not least, kudos for the dive school. Very professional, especially to get your Padi. They don't compromise at all, it is very reassuring. We'll possibly be back if we happen to visit Puerto Galera again."

"Beach is very beautiful but the location is very far. The amenities and room is excellent but it would be better if the room is facing the beach. All in all we like our stay and to kuya who assist us, thank you very much, you're so accommodating to us!!!"

"We stayed for a night at this hidden villa, and it felt like a true home away from home. The staff were incredibly kind and respectful, providing excellent service that made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The food was a highlight—absolutely delicious, with a healthy breakfast offered in the morning. You can even request a floating breakfast, which added a special touch to the experience. While the villa is tucked away down a short gravel road, the peaceful and private setting made it worth the effort. The villa is kid-friendly, but families should be cautious around the tiled swimming pool area. There’s no TV, so if you’re traveling with children, make sure their devices are charged. Fortunately, the Wi-Fi is strong and reliable. Overall, it was a lovely, relaxing stay with amazing food and warm hospitality. We highly recommend this villa for a cozy and memorable getaway."

"We could like to recommend Anitsa resort for people seeking peace and quiet accommodation. We stayed here for 5 days and we loved it. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious - thanks to the chefs. The room were cleaned everyday and the resort was spotless. The only downside was the location. It costed us 200pesos for 2 people special trip (meaning not sharing with the locals) to hire a tricycle to El Nido Town which was 4km and 200 pesos from Anitsa to Lio airport/Lio beach. Special thank you to all the staff who looked after us during our stay. ❤️"

"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel, as a family with our two daughters, aged 5 and 2. We had a lovely villa, studio number 3. The villa is very well equipped, with a kitchenette which is a real bonus for families. The view is simply magnificent, whether from the villa or from the hotel pool. The hotel is very well located; we were able to explore the surrounding area by scooter. As for breakfast, it was good, but we might have preferred a buffet to have more choice and variety."

"The place is beautiful—the kind you would want to come back to. The staff are kind and accommodating. It’s very relaxing, especially if you’re looking for a quiet place to unwind or escape the noise of the city. The sea is enjoyable both in the morning and at night. We will definitely come back here. The swimming pool is also clean. The road going down is a bit steep, but it’s manageable by motorcycle, and passengers can walk since there are stairs available. The place is clean overall, and we truly enjoyed our stay."

"7/10 – Beautiful, modern villa, but disappointing service and a few practical issues We stayed for three nights in Villa 3, the ground-floor villa with a private pool. Our first impression was excellent. Everything was modern, spotless, and beautifully maintained. The villa smelled lovely, the minibar was well stocked, and even small details, like the outdoor shower for rinsing sand off your feet, were appreciated. The private terrace with its pool and outdoor kitchen was lovely, but there were several drawbacks. First, the insects. There were A LOT of biting insects in the outdoor area, not just mosquitoes. Despite using repellents, the provided citronella spray, and the ceiling fan, we still got badly bitten. It would be helpful if the property could recommend or provide something more effective against the local insects. The pool was also quite cold, as the terrace receives very little direct sunlight. We even had a cute little frog living in the pool filter! We informed the staff, but nothing was done. Personally, we found him adorable, so if you're staying in Villa 3 and he's still there, please say hello from us! The outdoor kitchen includes a BBQ area, but charcoal isn't provided. We were told to buy it ourselves, yet couldn't find any at the recommended supermarket. Having a BBQ area that guests can't easily use seems a little impractical. Housekeeping was another issue. We didn't need full cleaning, just fresh towels and drinking water. The water was replenished and bath towels were changed, but our requests to replace the pool towels were ignored twice. However, the most disappointing experience involved a dog living near the villas. She was a very sweet, partially blind mother dog whose puppies occasionally came around. I fed her throughout our stay and became quite attached to her. Before leaving, I gave the staff some food and a small tip, asking them to feed her and send me a photo. They agreed. Unfortunately, over the following days, I received excuses about rain and the dog being absent, despite her having been around almost constantly during our stay. Eventually, I received a photo showing only the dog's backside, with no indication that she had actually been fed. I cannot say whether they fulfilled my request, but the way it was handled was genuinely disappointing. It was a small, personal request that they had voluntarily agreed to, and I expected better communication and follow-through. It left me questioning how genuine the hospitality was once we'd checked out. On the positive side, the staff were friendly in person and helped us arrange a motorbike rental. Laundry service was also convenient. There are a few restaurants along the nearby beach for breakfast and dinner, with more options in town. However, the beach itself isn't really suitable for swimming – it's shallow, rocky, and covered in seaweed. You'll need to travel to other beaches or use the villa's pool. Overall, 7/10. The villa itself is beautiful, clean, and comfortable, but the insect problem, overlooked requests, and especially the disappointing experience after checkout affected our impression. With more thoughtful attention to guests' needs and better follow-through on promises, this could be a much better experience."

"We spent a wonderful 3 days at Denika's suits. Manager Francisco and his team kindly met us at the airport at 9 pm and took us safely to the hotel for free. We got 2 magnificent bungalows. They are exactly as described on the website and even better. Large, clean, cozy. The next day, the same manager took us to a crocodile farm and shopping for a small fee. We ordered a delicious dinner at the hotel. On the day of departure, Francisco drove us to our meeting point with the carrier to El Nido. The unpunctual bus driver arrived an hour late. The manager kindly provided us with his car to wait. Many thanks to him and his entire team for their service and help. The hotel is located far from the center, but this did not affect our stay in any way. Very large and well-kept area. Recommend for booking."
