Tambuna Retreat is surrounded by lush greenery and mountain views, creating a peaceful natural setting for guests to unwind. After rain, the area is often covered in mist and gentle fog, giving a refreshing highland-like atmosphere. Although we are only 10–15 minutes from Ipoh city centre, the retreat remains quiet, private, and away from the noise and traffic, offering the perfect balance of convenience and calm.
Our resort features 22 comfortable rooms, each clean, bright, cosy, and complete with an ensuite bathroom. Selected rooms offer direct mountain views. Guests can enjoy our morning breakfast café, gym room, indoor kids play area, spacious outdoor areas, complimentary parking, and a beautifully designed outdoor swimming pool fully finished with natural marble sourced from the Ipoh mountains.
We provide 24-hour receptionist service to assist all guests and enquiries throughout their stay.
The natural environment is one of our greatest charms. Mornings are cool, sunrises rise beautifully from the mountain side, and after rain, fog often drifts through the surroundings. Our swimming pool stays comfortably shaded until around 10am, making it ideal for a relaxing morning swim

GGuest UserAmazing property with great amenities provided beyond expectations like Conway water filters hot & cold. Karaoke, game machine, lots of activities for family bonding. Towel supply is great too, what needed improvement, it’s a huge villa, so 2 person to clean is definitely not sufficient to enable us to check in at 3pm. Also pls ensure water heater is in working condition in every single bathroom for guests stay. This had inconvenienced us. Thank you.

Staff was also very friendly & provided good cooperation. house is clean, comfortable & suitable for family activities. The house is close to amenities such as restaurants, supermarkets & close to the main road so mmg happy and bnyk convenience. The area is mmg large and comfortable.
Only 1 thing is x brp best because the room outside is not equipped with a toilet so you have to go into the house. I'm really sorry mcm I'm the one who always wakes up at night to go to the bathroom. The swimming pool is clean because I have set a pump for cleaning the pool ... which is good so it is comfortable to swim
