"The location is located in the forest but there's no light surrounding during night . There are 3 pet dogs who live nearby (one of them is friendly). During winters the place is almost empty. Best for solo or couple travels. Sauna in winter is a must try. Overall the room needs a little repairing but it's not that noticable. The rooms are pretty large and provide all amenities. Each room is calm a provides a retreat for a peaceful vacation. The Breakfast lady is nice and hospitable. Breakfast included milk, croissant , a pastry an egg and a bowl of wontons. All snacks and fruits provided in room are complimentary. Overall a nice place for short weekend trip. In morning one can have a morning walk around forest or bike ( during winters the bike become a bit rusty though). The place also provides Kayaking in the nearby lake for 100 RMB / 3 hrs . It's best to enjoy kayaking in summers. Will visit here again. Also the place doesn't provide dinner but there are 2 nearby places providing good food. Make sure to take a torch along the way to restaurants at night as it gets quite dark."

"Going to the pool, the children are very happy! The sanitation is very clean, the twin room is wide enough, the room is large! Stayed directly for 2 nights, a bit far from Disney, but it doesn't matter, because there is a shuttle bus that is very convenient to pick up and drop off early! Families with children must rent a stroller, otherwise they will be too tired to visit Disney! The stroller I rented in the hotel is also cheap! Butler service is also very good! We contacted us in advance before we checked in the hotel, and built a special WeChat group to communicate, making people feel at home! It is also close to a number of famous shopping centres, like Reel, Kerry Centre, Park Place. There are plenty of well-known restaurants such as Wang's Palace, Xi's Garden in our Julu Garden. The nearby Line1/2/7 can take you to the airports and railway stations. The Victorian-style Villa built 1929 is also honoured as Historic Protection Building in Shanghai. The various well-appointed rooms and deluxe suites have a small contemporary twist and each are equipped with satellite TVs and Internet access. Although guests should venture out into Shanghai for a fantastic bite to eat, Chinese and Western food are both served at the hotel's restaurant and coffee shop and room service is also available. For business travelers, conference rooms are also available with the basic amenities needed for any corporate meetings. When it's time to kick back, guests can take a stroll through the hotel's garden or have a quick work-out in the fitness center.
"Located in the heart of Shanghai's historic Juxingchang area, the former guesthouse of Air Force Unit 4 holds an unmissable and pivotal position in modern Chinese history. To be honest, I was initially hesitant; I had originally booked the Yan'an Hotel, but was persuaded by the travel agency to switch to this place. On the eve of the 24th anniversary of '913' (September 13th), I was in the attic room here, rushing to meet my school deadlines. On the evening of September 13th, Shanghai was hit by a heavy downpour. My family and I were having dinner at the adjacent Xi Family Garden. We borrowed two umbrellas from Manager Zhang at the front desk, one of his own and one from a colleague. I'm truly grateful for this trust, and also want to thank Manager Zhang for his thoughtful service over the past two days."

"First, the transportation is convenient. It's very close to the Chuansha subway station, and there's a shuttle service to Disneyland, making it very convenient to get around. Secondly, breakfast is provided daily. My daughter, who doesn't like greasy food in the morning, surprisingly enjoyed the hotel's light porridge, side dishes, and eggs. I'm not a fan of steamed buns, so ordering takeout or eating out is also very convenient. Evening rides on the owner's electric scooter are also quite nice. The environment is very quiet, just a ten-minute drive from Disneyland. The surroundings are very peaceful, a nice contrast to the high-rise buildings in the city. Finally, the service is very nice. The owner is very friendly and helpful in planning itineraries. I originally booked for two days, but couldn't get a ticket home, so I booked three more days. However, I didn't stay for the last two days before returning home, so the owner graciously refunded the remaining two days' fee. Overall, it's a great value."

"An experience that far exceeded my expectations! The hotel is in a great location, right near Wukang Mansion and just a few hundred meters from Shanghai Jiao Tong University Metro Station. The only minor inconvenience was the pebbled path leading to the entrance, which made it a bit tricky to roll luggage. However, the overall old house environment was charming, and there are coffee shops and restaurants conveniently located nearby.
The best part was the exceptional service. The day I arrived, the weather had turned cold, and as soon as I entered, the front desk staff handed me a warm bottle of water to warm my hands. All the services were incredibly thoughtful. It felt like a hybrid between a B&B and a hotel – more personal than a hotel, but more standardized than a B&B.
The hotel room itself was neither good nor bad. Being an old house, it naturally had a slightly aged feel, but I found it acceptable, and the value for money was excellent. The pillows were very comfortable, and the toiletries smelled wonderful, like a branded product – a pleasant surprise overall."

"The location is fantastic, very close to all the main attractions. The front desk staff, both the guys and girls, were super friendly and even gave us a small gift when we checked out. They thoughtfully offered a guaranteed late check-out until 2 PM.
The mini-bar was complimentary, and the welcome fruit and evening milk were a really nice touch. The only downsides were that the single room was a bit small and the shower pressure was low. Otherwise, everything was impeccable."

The experience was beyond our expectations when we stayed at Xianshe Villa for our visit to Shanghai Disneyland. The environment was clean and tidy, the housekeeper service was warm and considerate, the auntie's breakfast was nutritious, and the driver picked us up at Disneyland safely and on time. The villa provided both the warmth of home and the services and supporting facilities of a five-star hotel. The experience was perfect. My child is already looking forward to staying at Xianshe Villa for the next Disney trip with her classmates and bestie.

The boss also provides a kitchen for us to use, which is very friendly for the elderly and children who are not used to takeout and meals in restaurants outside. Because my mother eats very light food, she is really satisfied if she can cook it herself. The air and environment are very good, there are large tracts of farmland. My daughter likes the swings here very much. There is also a projection in the living room. There are two shy kittens in the room. We stayed for two nights and were really satisfied. Although it drizzled on the day we went to Disneyland, it was wet and cold, but we had fun. If I have the opportunity to come to Disneyland next time, I will stay at his house again. GGuest UserSome time ago, I went to Chongming Island with my friends and stayed in Villa No. 100 of Shanghai Xiangying Holiday Villa. The experience was so good that I must share it with you!
As soon as I arrived at the villa, the Southeast Asian style architecture attracted me. The design of the single-family house and courtyard is super private, surrounded by green plants and full of negative oxygen ions. I heard from the staff that the villa is next to Dongping National Forest Park. Sure enough, the air is fresh and pleasant, just like living in a natural oxygen bar.
The interior space of the villa is very spacious, with five bedrooms of different styles, three of which have bathtubs. It is so comfortable to take a bath when you are tired. Although the living room is not big, it has all the entertainment facilities such as KTV, mahjong table, and TV. A group of us sang and played mahjong in it, and we had a lot of fun. The small courtyard is my favorite place. We put tables and chairs, and everyone sat around to drink tea and chat, enjoying the leisure time.
There is nothing to say about the service. The staff is warm and thoughtful, asked about our needs attentively, and delivered the required items in time. The room was clean and warm, and it was very comfortable to stay in. The location of the villa is excellent, close to Dongping National Forest Park, and you can reach it on foot. There are many farmhouses around, so you don't have to worry about finding food.
I was really satisfied with this stay. Whether it is a family gathering or a trip with friends, it is very suitable. I will come again next time if I have the chance!

We had several dining options nearby, including Korean restaurants and fried chicken spots that offered delivery. We especially enjoyed the local Chinese cuisine, and everything we tried was delicious.

Overall Experience
Our overall experience was very positive. The kids loved the villa, particularly the fourth-floor basement, which was equipped with a karaoke machine, arcade games, a Mahjong table, playing cards, and various board games.

Eekas_19The hotel provides a shuttle to and from Disneyland, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Free breakfast from 7-9am, clean linens, complimentary water, a kettle, towels (7 for two), a toothbrush, hot water, and working air conditioning (we slept warmly).
There's a convenience store 50 meters away from us that's open all day until 9:30pm. The lovely woman working there makes delicious sweet buns. We paid only 33 yuan (less than 400 rubles) for a whole bag.
The hotel's location is slightly different from where the GPS showed us; the building is lower, by the water, but the owner's neighbor quickly called him and they picked us up.
The room is cleaned and always ready to help.
I don't understand why there are several bad reviews, because for the price, this place has everything!
We want to say a big thank you for the amenities provided, and I highly recommend it!

The hotel environment is very online, the room is clean and tidy, the layout is compact but warm, there are green plants outside the window, which fully meets the travel needs. The service is even more pleasant. The free shuttle bus is super punctual. It is confirmed one day in advance and goes directly to the entrance of the park in the morning, saving the trouble of taking a taxi. The front desk also prepared breakfast intimately. Although I didn't eat it early, this meticulousness was too warm. The return shuttle bus is also very easy to find, and the staff is enthusiastic throughout. GGuest UserAccording to Ctrip's navigation, I chose Gaode, and it was easy to find the hotel. For a small villa on a country road, this famous homestay is very conspicuous because of its beautiful appearance.
Room: A standard room. It is worth mentioning that it is really very clean, especially the bathroom and bathing facilities are better than many star-rated hotels, and there is no water stain on the glass.
Facilities: Swimming pool, billiards, chess and cards, karaoke, parent-child area, a very spacious riverside terrace, and even four very cute cats to pet, which really surprised me. You can stay here for a day.
Service: Unlike those hotels, there is no sense of restraint when staying here. The proprietress is very nice. She helped us go out to buy beer at dinner. The homestay does not include breakfast, but she prepared breakfast for us very warmly, which is very heartwarming.
Let me summarize it. I went there after reading the reviews and was ready for pleasure. But you still have to experience it in person to feel this different experience. If I go to Dishui Lake or Haichang or team building next time, I will definitely choose this homestay.
