The Name “Luming” | Inspired by an Ancient Chinese Tradition of Hospitality The name “Luming” comes from Xiaoya · Luming, a poem in the Book of Songs, one of the oldest collections of Chinese poetry. For centuries, the image of “the calling deer” has symbolized hospitality, friendship, ritual, and the sincere welcoming of honored guests. That spirit remains at the heart of Luming Courtyard today. At the heart of the property is a private courtyard garden of approximately 100 square meters, together with a tea pavilion, floor-to-ceiling windows, skylights, and abundant natural light.
