"It is the best value for money accommodation, but I do not recommend this place if you want to just relax and have fun. The club noise is particularly unbearable at night, so if you want to stay here to save money, be sure to bring earplugs. There were some stains on the towels, and if I had known the condition of the place, I think I would have looked for another place to rest more comfortably. Also, since the accommodation is surrounded by shops, I was worried about bugs, but I didn't see any. The front desk staff were very kind."

"Good points: Kitchen and tableware provided. Convenient location right next to the International Market. A bit old, but spacious and clean room. Everyone at the front desk is friendly. Free activities like lei making. Beach towels available for rent. Free parking. Pool included.
Bad points: There was a homeless person sleeping next to the hotel, and someone talking loudly by themselves, which was scary. You could hear music from a store outside until late at night, which was noisy. The water pressure in the shower was weak, and the shower head was on top, making it difficult to use.
Good value for money, and I can see why there are so many repeat customers! I'd like to use it again."

"A special place in Hilo, although remote, worth exploring. When I went there, it was raining heavily, which somewhat diminished the experience. If the weather is good, I can stay longer. A surf styled boutique hotel 2 blocks to the beach and steps from world class shopping and dining. The hotels open air lobby connects to a restaurant and a pool area with a cabana seating area and BBQ grill.
"The location was fantastic, only about a 7-minute walk to Waikiki Beach. The hotel staff were also very kind. Housekeeping comes every three days. I really appreciated that they lend out towels for the beach; it was great! After using them, you return the towels in the lobby, which kept our room from getting messy. Once we returned a towel, we got our lending card back, so we could borrow another one the next day when visiting different beaches. We rented a car and paid for parking. We were told we could park anywhere, but when we found it full and mentioned it, they moved one of the hotel's cars for us. For this price and location, I'm absolutely delighted! I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to save money but doesn't want to stay in a hostel, and prefers a clean place at the very least. Also, there's a poke place nearby called ''Maguro Spot'' that always had a long line. I was curious, tried it, and it was absolutely delicious – highly recommend!"

The front desk staff was very kind and I was grateful. It was about a 15-minute taxi ride from the airport. It was around 11pm, so it was about $66 including the late-night fare. During the day, it was about $50.

Because we cancelled our trip to the Big Island and decided to have an in-depth tour of Oahu instead, we chose to extend our stay. The surrounding environment is really nice. Ala Moana Beach Park and both sides of the canal are suitable for leisure and exercise. We were lucky enough to see a rainbow on the balcony of our hotel room. The No. 20 bus at the door goes directly to the airport. We had a great trip!

I was very disappointed when I got to my crappy old room...it was so hot in my room!! The a/c was barely working!! So I called the front desk to switch rooms... luckily she called me back and said she had another room for me... the new room wasn't really any better!! The a/c was in the back corner and still I couldn't feel the a/c!! I actually had to go to the back corner to feel a little air conditioned. We pay a lot of money to stay there and there rooms barely have working air conditioned!! We were very hot the whole time we were there!! So my friends and I will never stay there again!! And we will not recommend Waikiki heritage hotel to anyone!! Good luck...

About the hostel:
1. It's a 3-minute walk to the beach.
2. The W-Line bus ($2.50) goes from the airport directly to the hostel stop (it's a 3-minute walk from there). There are ticket machines for bus passes at the airport.
3. There's a communal kitchen (open from 6:00 AM - 10 PM).
4. You can get beach equipment (like surfboards) for a deposit.
5. There are plenty of food stores and cafes nearby.
6. They offer excursions.
7. There's a locker in the room, but you'll need your own lock.
There's a lot of traffic on the island's roads.

I stayed in the best room in this hotel. Everything else was fantastic but the bed was very dirty.
I think they didn't bother to change their sheets before we arrive. And I don't know how old the sheets were but there was a lot of dirt, particles, hair, and even a dead bug in it.
I was terrified to sleep on those. And I was too timid to ask the front desk to change them because a) I'm shy and b) I only found out about this in late night before I went to bed.
I wouldn't go back to this hotel. But the view was really nice.

This was my first time staying in hostel and I definitely want to stay in hostel when I get to come back in Hawaii.
They offer so many opportunities to meet people from hostel.
The rooftop was great and the restroom was also clean.
But the bed was little uncomfortable because I stayed in the top and I could feel every little move from the person staying under.
