"Excellent location - It was just a few minutes' walk from the metro station and very close to Parque Eduardo VII, where the Christmas market was (and I enjoyed it very much!).
The staff were very friendly and helpful. I encountered some problems on arrival, and they sorted them out immediately. Give them a bug thumbs up.
The facilities were basic but had everything I needed. Given such a cheap price, I won't ask for more.
I felt a bit cold at night even though I had a hot water bottle. I was staying on the top floor and it was December (I feel cold easily anyway). Maybe they can try to make it warmer?"

"Given the price, some of the issues are somewhat understandable, but the facility was significantly more dilapidated than shown in the photos, and it had a distinct odor. I was looking for an inexpensive private room, but if I had known the extent of its condition, I absolutely would have spent more money to book a different place. The chair cushions were falling apart, and the old window wouldn't open or close properly. The clothes hangers themselves looked like salvaged, dented, and paint-peeling items."

"Hotel location is good, 15 mins walk to the metro/bus station. All the restaurants and shops are also walking distance. The receptionist was nice and polite and responded to every question asked. The breakfast has everything you need to fill up. The price match to what was offered. Happy to stay here again."

The room with bathroom inside the room with balcony.
No curtains on the beds, the light can bother, no privacy.
There is elevator, no problems with luggage.
There is a kitchen, but is closed in the night time.
The staff was very friendly and helpful.

I chose a room with a bathroom, which is actually the master bedroom of the house. It's quite spacious and has everything. The location is also very good. There is a subway station downstairs, and there are many supermarkets, restaurants, etc. nearby. The kitchen at home is also very easy to use and has everything. The parking situation is not clear. It may not be easy to park on the main road. Comparing the beds in the youth hostels nearby, the price was about twice as high as that in the youth hostels, but they were much more comfortable and comfortable, so I decided to change and did not continue to stay in the youth hostels. Although the landlord is not good at speaking English, he is still very enthusiastic about using translation software to communicate and help. Thank you very much. All in all, it is a very cost-effective choice. If you feel uncomfortable staying in a youth hostel, this is a good choice and highly recommended. (Note that the owner has more than one house, so different house types may not be in the same location. The two houses are not too far apart on foot for four or five minutes. Since there was no phone call in advance and the language was not well understood, the location on the map It’s just one of them, but it’s not where I live, so it doesn’t matter if I wait for a while. The specific arrangement is subject to the landlord’s arrangement)

We had a family suite, 4 beds and a private washroom. The soundproofing of the place is very poor. There's supposed to be quiet hours, but it was not enforced very well, if at all. At 12am, there was a group of very rowdy crowd running and making loud noises but no one came to enforce it. .If you are a deep sleeper, this will be okay, but if you are a light sleeper like myself then I don't recommend it.
We were told different information by different staffs. At first they told us that each towel will be 3euro, but upon returning and just going to get 1 as we bought 2 elsewhere, we were told it's free because we got the family room.
We were charged 32 euro for the tourist fee, even though trip.com states it was 24.

Guest UserA short stay in a small but clean and comfy room. The room was on the top floor but fortunately the manager gave me a hand carrying my suitcase up to the top as there are no lifts.
Kitchen is small but clean with most things you need for self catering. I slept great which was what I was looking for 2 previous poor nights sleep. There is a little table with chairs to sit around to eat and work on your laptop in the kitchen area if necessary. I would have stayed an extra night but would have had to move down a level and on that level the so called ”desk space” is really just a shelf with some seats so only really large enough to eat food from rather than work on a laptop. The area is a bit out from the centre but if you want to visit the castle and some of the city views from top of Alfama it's ideal and you can get the creaky but quaint 28E into the centre so you can cross that off your bucket list too

The hotel is very close to the metro station, which is great. It's located right on Liberty Avenue, and the surrounding area is nice. The hotel itself is in an older building facing the street, so it feels a bit dated. The facilities are quite old, and the bathroom is small, but the price is also very affordable.
