"Don't be put off by the dingy entrance gate. This isn't a place for those with refined taste. The decor is reminiscent of a teenager's room during the communist era, but it has everything you need for a short stay or a month. Initially, the prospect of sharing a bathroom terrified me, as I was with my 80-year-old mother, but everything was well thought out. My mother was pleased. Communication with the manager was seamless. I'm still waiting for the invoice. I will definitely use this location again."

"The location is super convenient, close to the train station and a cat café (score!), with bus stops and great little shops nearby. It's also easy to get to the historic center. The design really impressed me – I'm not even a Star Wars fan, but this is genuinely cool and stylish. The view from the window was pleasant (see photo). The bed was comfortable, and the kitchen had everything needed. The key code system was excellent. What I didn't like: The street seemed small, but it was surprisingly noisy. You could hear cars very clearly even with the window closed (sad face emoji). It's an old Polish building with no elevator, and the stairs are incredibly steep; the 2nd floor felt like a 3rd or 4th in other places. Hauling a heavy suitcase up there was a nightmare. The wonderful design, unfortunately, showed its age; everything was quite worn, the carpet had an unpleasant smell, and it felt stuffy overall. The latches in the showers were barely holding on, and in one, the water drained very slowly. What was truly disappointing was that it wasn't clear what kind of bed you were getting when booking. The idea of beds with curtains, like a private pod, is great, but in my room, for example, only two out of four beds had this, while the other two were behind a single curtain, meaning you effectively shared with a roommate. When booking, you choose a room and bed number, but I didn't know that 5/1 and 5/2 were a shared configuration, whereas 5/3 and 5/4 were separate. It was manageable, but I ended up with a guy right next to me the whole time (smiley face emoji). However, this setup would be perfect for two friends."

"One of the most satisfied hostels I’ve stayed in Europe at such good price. 24/7 reception. Free water refill machine. Free good wifi. Separated male and female toilet and shower rooms (all in same floor tho), all-in-one shower gel(?) and hair dryers equipped. Many lockers on the floor (need to ask reception for the lock I think but not sure). New bed sheet, duvet sheet and pillow case provided. Very clean overall. Each bed has own x1 plug for charging and x1 reading light. View is amazing. Very good location (close to old town). Stunning view on rooftop (I didn’t upload the pics for the view tho), residents can get drinks there. Staff are very efficient and helpful, even the residents are really nice. The rooms and washroom/toilet are bright and spacious. Bins in each room. Restaurant right on G/F. AND the convenience store is just 1 min away. Kitchen with fridge, cups and utensils equipped, although the pan and pots are a bit old(?), I don’t need to cook anyway. Luggage storage available for residents. I feel very safe as a solo female traveler. I booked this only the night before but didn’t expect I would be this satisfied, what a good surprise to me. Making my experience here extra good."

"The hostel do not have the basic ammenities, such as shampoo, lift and air conditining The hotel is near to the old town, but far from the main station. The hostel is opposite to the pub, which will be noisy during night time. The toilet is dirty, the kitchen is very dark or gloomy. Value for money, but no the best choice."

"It is a very ordinary hotel. It is qualified in all aspects. The location is good. There is a large shopping mall nearby and a train station to Sancheng District. Although it is a little far to go to Amber Street, I have the impression that there are no restaurants nearby, but there are many supermarkets."

"The staff was very friendly and always ready to help. The breakfast was good with a nice variety of options. The bed was really comfortable! Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The reception desk is open 24 hours a day, so you can check in even late at night, which is very convenient. The hotel is just a short walk from the airport."

"We just returned from our stay at this hotel in Gdansk and couldn't have been more delighted. It was a fantastic experience from beginning to end. The room: Simply magnificent. It was very spacious, decorated with exquisite taste, and had an incredibly comfortable bed that guaranteed a good night's sleep after long walks around the city. The cleanliness was impeccable. The bathroom: Modern, sparkling, and very well-equipped. The shower had fantastic water pressure, something that is always greatly appreciated when unwinding at the end of the day. The breakfast: A true spectacle! There was an incredible variety of options, from local cold cuts and cheeses to fresh pastries and hot dishes cooked to order. All with excellent quality ingredients. Without a doubt, the combination of a perfect room and a breakfast fit for a king made our trip to Gdansk even more special. If we return to the city, we will definitely stay here again."

"The location is excellent, right next to the train station and the old city center, which is very convenient if you're traveling early in the morning or evening. In my opinion, it's perfectly acceptable for a night or two, but nothing more. There's a kitchen, which is very convenient. I asked for a lower bed, and they provided it, but when I got to the room, it was occupied. I didn't bother to investigate (this is more a question of the guests' culture than the receptionist's), as it was already late at night and I only had a few hours of sleep left. I checked in around 1:00 AM, and the reception was open. They greeted me, explained everything, and there were no extra charges. Everything was perfect."

"The area around the hostel was dimly lit, which made me a little uneasy, but the facility was clean and breakfast was included! I met a female solo traveler who shared a room with me at the hostel, and we went sightseeing together the next day! It was a truly fateful encounter.^^ This pizza place about a 10-minute walk away is new and highly recommended!"

"The Viila Eva Hotel is a beautiful hotel in a beautiful city, Danzica. The hotel is exactly as it appears on the booking sites. The room that we have been given is exactly the photos on the site, and it is wide, comfortable and well furnished. The bathroom is great with a really spacious shower. All is new or very recent. The hotel's rooms are very nice, and one gives directly to the garden, very nice. The hotel has a restaurant - which we haven't had the opportunity to try - a bar indoor, a breakfast room and a very well-equipped canteen. Breakfast is excellent and abundant, unfortunately there are not croissants that I like so much, but the rest does not leave criticism. The staff is efficient, very educated. very available and smile. People really pleasant and friendly. The hotel also has very comfortable outside for smokers and a large parking.
