"It was clean, but the room had a pungent, paint-like smell that was irritating to the nose. The mirror didn't have a complementary light, so it was dim. As for amenities, soap and shampoo are standard. I've stayed at many hotels, but this was the only one that provided water instead. It's not bad, but I think soap and shampoo are more of a priority. I was hesitant to bring my own because every other hotel I've stayed at provided them. The remote control was annoying because it didn't function immediately; you'd lose your patience pressing the button on the left part of the large white circle on the remote."

"I had a hot, uncomfortable disappointed, and we were in utter shocked that the room I booked was not in their system. As I was rebooking, it was not the same as the first booking then blacked out occured. During the blacked out the my booking end up with only a bed in dorm style quarters, public bathroom and no privacy. My first booking was a package trip from Cebu to Manila which still in a wrong date. The actual date for the flight was to be on August 19 @ 9:50 but the three agent that I spoke to on the 18th got my hotel canceled and only provided me a rebooked solution. Sure, I can rebooked, thank so much for making my simple trip into **************** with my family, along withy impatient high functioning autism, 24 years old son who doesn't like his iPad to be low battery and no wifi. To remind you that the black out still happening, so during my aunty and son lunch the black still going. I have no idea what kind of menu and price for food and drinks. As I saw the server put the first plate of food, I was shocked to see the mountain square shape nacho cheese beyond understanding. My aunty is only 90 to 100 pounds. She doesn't speak English and doesn't understand what she ordered, so she asked question about salad and a slice of pizza. But that not what the server brought, he came out again carrying nacho cheese, same size as the first nacho cheese/beef, except the second is chicken then a whole large Canadian bacon pizza. I couldn't believe the amount of food that was ordered then a Red Bull for my autistic son? My aunty was repeatedly saying that she only want salad and a slice pizza then water. What she really wanted the cook and server wanted to do is take away all the food back including the Red Bull. Oh, one more set of food, two big pieces of Burrito. The hotel is still in black out and stuffy hot and dark. The staff are not good listener. My son started eating and drinking the Red Bull, when I saw him, I told the staff that Red Bull straight might kill him of a heart attack. I also mentioned that my son doesn't know self control when it comes to food which is called glutenny . He already pass his regular weight. I heard my aunty said that my son ordered all the food; she had no idea what he was ordering. Meanwhile the black out still continuing till around 5:30 pm, every building around the area has their electricity back on but not the Papabo. Our booking still in process. The manager charged me for the lunch even though the mistake was the their service, taking order from an autistic person instead of asking his parents. The manager decided to booked us in the one room that has two bunk bed, private bathroom and has windows cause still black out. The room is stuffy and hot, it's on the fourth floor, no elevator and dark to go up the stairs. We decided to lock up our things in the room cause still black out. My aunty over heard that the electricity bill was not paid. So as soon as I got down. The manager charged me 1500 pesos cash plus 1200 pesos for lunch that I only got to eat two slices of pizza and a couple of bite of nacho beef. I didn't get to have the burritos. The Papabo manager quickly went to pay for their electricity bill after she spoke to the owner. My aunty and me went to the beach. I for sure locked the bedroom and still no electriçity. My son went to 7/11 to charge the iPad. We got back at the hotel at 8:30 or so and the electricity was on and my son also in the in the hotel. Do recognized that the hotel keys was an actual key, and I only have the key with. In my surprised our bedroom door was wide open, our things are scattered on the chair and table. Now, just today at this time, I'm still looking for my necklace that has my Mom piece of earing, my oldest son alligator tooth pendant and my initial pendant A. I'll call the hotel when I finished looking at our things here.Yap, my necklace is missing."

The room was clean, comfortable, and offered great value for the price. Due to the storm, our trip was canceled, and we needed to extend our stay. "While the staff is helpful, the hotel’s location is a bit isolated from key landmarks like the ferry terminal, Fort San Pedro, and Magellan’s Cross, making a taxi necessary for most sightseeing. The rooms are quite basic and lack soundproofing; noise from the corridors was a persistent issue. Unless you are traveling on a strict budget, I would recommend looking elsewhere"

With a stay at RedDoorz @ Caimito Drive Dampas in Tagbilaran, you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Tagbilaran City Hall and Bohol National Museum. Free self parking is available onsite. Make yourself at home in one of the air-conditioned guestrooms. Complimentary wireless internet access is available to keep you connected. Bathrooms have showers and complimentary toiletries. Conveniences include desks and complimentary bottled water, and housekeeping is provided daily.

"I stayed at RedDoorz @ Caimito Drive Dampas for a quick overnight trip, and overall, it was a decent budget stay. The room was clean enough and surprisingly spacious for the price, with working air conditioning and stable WiFi, which made it comfortable for a short stay. The place itself is quiet and tucked away, so if you’re looking for somewhere peaceful to rest after a long day, this fits well. Staff were generally accommodating, and check-in was smooth. It didn’t feel overly luxurious, but it had the basics covered—bed, shower, and a calm environment. That said, there are a few small things to manage expectations. Cleanliness is okay but not spotless, and don’t expect much guidance or assistance when it comes to nearby spots or transportation unless you ask. Location-wise, it’s convenient enough—you’re just a short ride away from malls and key areas in Tagbilaran, which is a plus if you plan to move around. Overall: Good value for money, especially for a 1-night stay. Not fancy, but practical, quiet, and comfortable enough if you just need a place to sleep and recharge."

Embrace a home and a community where you belong. Whether you’re looking for a short stay of a few days or planning to settle in for a few months, The Pad Co-Living has a space for you.

"Great location, good Wi-Fi with a few minor disconnections. The air conditioning is too noisy, the bed creaks, and the bathroom was moderately clean, but acceptable. However, the staff is very pleasant and attentive. The terrace restaurant is very nice, the pool is super well-maintained, and I had a meal and a drink there, which was pleasant but nothing special. On the other hand, the staff there are incredibly pleasant, helpful, and caring."

"The reception area is spacious and welcoming. The property is conveniently located within Cebu Business Park, with easy access to malls, restaurants, coffee shops, and other establishments. The dorm-style room is surprisingly spacious, even with four occupants, and the price is very affordable for the value it offers. The shower and toilet are separate, which is a nice touch. However, the shower does not have a water heater, and the toilet does not have a bidet. Considering the affordable rate, these are understandable trade-offs. Overall, the staff were friendly and accommodating, making the stay pleasant. A great budget-friendly option for travelers looking for a convenient location in Cebu."

I would like to commend all the staffs from the hotel’s breakfast buffet area. They were so accommodating and ready to assist without a need to be prompted. Was just a bit disappointed at time of check-in when asked if early check-in was possible. Not because that the room wasn’t ready yet but it’s because of the Receptionist’s (Rhea-wearing eye glasses) approach and responses to the said request. Nevertheless, had a good stay and might be coming back to stay.

If you are looking for a fancy stay, this isn't it. But if you just need a place to sleep for a very cheap price, Aosmec CampHotel is definitely worth it. It’s perfect for solo travelers or backpackers who are only in Manila for a quick layover or a US Embassy appointment. The ”rooms” are actually indoor tents, which is a unique experience. Even though you're in a tent, the air conditioning in the main area is strong, so it stays cool enough to sleep comfortably. The location is the best part—you are right in the middle of everything, close to malls and transport. Just keep in mind that since it’s a shared space, it can get a bit noisy when other people move around or unzip their tents. If you bring earplugs and don’t mind sharing a bathroom, you really can’t beat the price. For a low-budget stay, it’s a solid 4/5 stars.

I like how the hotel receptionist are warm and welcoming. The room is also clean and spacious. A suggestion is that there should be a slipper and towel for guest. And bell should be alert whenever there are guest arriving specially if they have many and heavy things because when we arrive for check in it was just us ladies who pushed the cart and mind you it has stairs to enter the front desk. A little kindness won’t hurt. Overall place was nice just put effort on customer service. That would really help.

The hotel name sounds fancy, but personally, I think it's more like a guesthouse or hostel. It's located in an alley off the main road leading to Alona Beach, with plenty of dining options nearby and easy, close access to the beach. I was really pleased with the great value for money and the simple, clean environment; the air conditioning worked perfectly, and the breakfast provided by the hotel was delicious. The downsides are that you need to bring your own toiletries, the water pressure for showering isn't strong enough, and there was a brief power outage once that led to the water being cut off. Overall, it was still a pretty good stay! 😊

Budget Friendly Stay with Mixed Experiences - Good for the Price, but Be Prepared for Quirks We booked this hotel for three nights primarily because of its incredibly low price, around 500+ pesos. Upon arrival, we were surprised to see the area filled with HPG (Highway Patrol Group) motorcycles; it turned out they were also staying there due to an ASEAN event in Lapu-Lapu, which made the vicinity quite busy. When we entered, the reception was unattended for a moment, and when someone did assist us, they seemed rushed and hard to communicate with. Being escorted to our room was an ”okay” experience. For the 500-peso price point, it met expectations! The room had a refrigerator, and we were happy to find a bucket and dipper, which meant we could do our laundry a huge plus for us. While the shower pressure was slightly better than our previous accommodation, we still weren't fully satisfied and ended up using the bucket and dipper for bathing. We enjoyed the TV, even if it was a manual one at least it worked! However, our experience at the dining area upon checkout was quite chaotic. The staff there seemed disorganized; they were laughing, and then there was a clear concern from another guest whose order hadn't arrived despite being placed earlier than ours. It turned out their order wasn't even listed, indicating an absent-minded mistake. The scene quickly escalated with staff shouting questions like ”Where's the order?” and ”Which order?” among themselves, creating a very confusing and unpleasant atmosphere.

Our stay at Jelly Sea Resort was absolutely perfect! The staff were incredibly caring and accommodating, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The room was spacious and ideal for our family of three, especially since we were traveling with a kid. The beachfront location was stunning, offering breathtaking views of both sunrise and sunset. The room exceeded our expectations with its cleanliness and amenities, including air conditioning, a mini-fridge, water heater, bidet, hair dryer, and complete bath essentials. The resort offered a lot of water activities that made our stay even more enjoyable. The booking included free use of a bamboo raft, kayaking, snorkeling, and access to three cliff-diving spots for the adventurous. We also loved the freediving opportunities and appreciated the swimming peripherals provided, like goggles, life jackets, and aqua shoes. These thoughtful inclusions made exploring the beautiful waters so much fun and hassle-free. The food was excellent! Portions were generous and perfect for sharing. Plus, the free breakfast was a great way to start our days. The resort also provided fast and reliable WiFi, which was a big plus. The only minor downside was the lack of nearby stores for snacks, as the resort mainly serves meals. I strongly suggest picking up some snacks before checking in. That said, the staff went above and beyond—special thanks to Kuya Wing for helping me get what I needed from outside, which was a lifesaver since I was traveling with a kid! Overall, I wish we could’ve stayed longer. Jelly Sea Resort is truly a gem, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, activity-packed, and family-friendly getaway.
