"Hotel Sun Plaza is right next to Shin-Imamiya Station, making it incredibly convenient for exploring Osaka. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and there’s even a robot at the front desk! They also welcome guests with a refreshing ice candy. The hotel offers free daily breakfast vouchers (toast and croissant), unlimited complimentary drinks, free earplugs, towels, laundry facilities, vending machines, and a relaxing common area with pleasant background music. One of the highlights is the free Japanese public bath (sentō/大浴場), which is great after a long day of walking. The rooms are simple but well equipped, with a fridge, TV, hangers, adjustable dim lighting, and double-window insulation that keeps the room surprisingly quiet. Smoking and non-smoking options are also available. The location is fantastic for sightseeing—Tsūtenkaku Tower and Tennoji Zoo are about a 5-minute walk away, while Namba and Dotonbori are easily reachable on foot or by train. There are also plenty of Japanese, Indian, Chinese, and other restaurants nearby. For the price, Hotel Sun Plaza offers excellent value and a very convenient base for exploring Osaka. "I stayed alone for one night and it was quite convenient to get to the airport the next morning. For the price of a capsule hotel, you get a private room with AC, a TV, and a fridge, though there's no space to lay out your luggage. The area isn't the safest, but there are convenience stores and restaurants around. The vending machines are very cheap, and there's a takoyaki place with good food. Overall, it's great value for money."

"Tucked away in the forested hills just outside Osaka, Minoh Waterfall is a breathtaking escape from the urban hustle. The paved 2.7-kilometer trail to the falls offers an easy, scenic walk along the river, especially vibrant during autumn when the Japanese maples turn vivid red. Reaching the impressive 33-meter cascade is pure tranquility. Don't forget to try the local delicacy, momiji tempura (deep-fried maple leaves), along the way. It is a absolute must-visit for nature lovers!"

"Hotel location is very good, 1 minute walk from JR Tianman Station, it is a bit tired to move the luggage to the second floor, the room is spacious, the sound of the rail is indeed a bit big, but for me living on the main road in the center of Shanghai, I can also sleep easily. The brightest point is that there is a cute tiger spot. I am not afraid of strangers at all. I will go to the top room regularly. I will go out from the window to play. I have to open and close the window and leave the time for entry and exit. Overall, it is very good. 👍, suitable for single travel."

"Stayed in standard twin shared toilet room from 20 - 22 June 2026 2 nights for MYR180 and 14-15 June 2026 1 night for RM57. Highly recommended for solo travellers as the hotel is clean, convenient, walking distance to Shin Imamiya Nankai Line station, Shin Imamiya JR Osaka Loop and Dobutsumae / Tennoji Zoo Metro Station (Interchange for 2 metro lines). Nitori, Donki, many hotels and some eateries are also within walking distance. Shower room is at ground floor and gender-separated. There are 4 shower cells with high privacy and 3 washing basins. Washing machine and drying machine is inside the shower room and you can pay by coin or apps. There is a common area at lobby with toilets, microwave oven, electronic kettle and kitchen basin. No water refill machine is provided, I need to buy water bottle at convenience store nearby. The room is very clean and comfortable, it comes with Wi-fi, air conditioner, smart TV (need to pay for certain programme), small fridge, 2 sockets for charging phone and window. There is toilet at every floor. After booking, you will receive email to pre register your particulars, upload passport photo and selfie photo. Then you will receive QR code. On arrival, you need to scan the QR code pasted at entrance by typing your name. One set of password will be generated for you to enter the entrance, your room and shower room. Receptionist only work at counter from 9 - 6pm. You can store luggage before check in but cannot store luggage after check out. Check in time is 3pm while check out is 9am. Overall I am very satisfied with the hotel and will definitely come back in future."

"The hostel is conveniently located near the metro station. The area outside is a bit like a bar street, but once you step into the hostel, it feels new, modern, clean, and comfortable. There are several common areas on the ground floor and upstairs, which are great for chatting, using your phone, or working. They also have a shared kitchen, washing machine, and dryer. The dorm room had a bit of a strange smell, but it felt clean. The beds were spacious enough for a comfortable sleep, and each bed had its own private locker."

"The best thing about this hotel is its superb location, right next to Dotonbori and other major tourist spots. Also, everyone was incredibly friendly, and the facilities were clean. However, the room was quite humid, and the bedding felt damp. There was also a strong, musty smell in the room, almost like an old electrical smell. Being so close to entertainment venues, you can hear a lot of noise at night. For security reasons, the main door is locked from 1 AM to 6 AM, so you can't go out during those hours. If you're solely focused on sightseeing and shopping, I'd recommend this place. Despite the facility issues, I was touched by everyone's kindness and am leaving with a good impression. Thank you once again!"

"The accommodation was incredibly clean and well-maintained, which I really appreciated. I frequently saw staff members cleaning throughout the day. The toilets, showers, sleeping areas, and locker spaces were all spotless. It's close to Namba Station Exit 25, but I'd recommend taking the escalator at Exit 24 and walking a bit further. Exit 25 has narrow stairs, making it difficult to carry luggage up and down. The location is great for shopping, being close to the famous Glico Man and roughly halfway between Nankai Namba Station and Shinsaibashi Station. There were three minor downsides: Firstly, the Wi-Fi connection was unreliable. Secondly, the sleeping area felt quite sunken, almost as if I was feeling the floor beneath. Thirdly, although the reception is on the 5th floor, the sleeping area is women-only. However, when I stepped out, there were men also present in the common lounge area."

"The room was clean and tidy, and the shared restrooms were brand new. Its location near Daikokucho Station makes it convenient to go anywhere, and it's close to Namba, with attractions and shopping centers all around. The front desk service was exceptionally attentive, especially a young Japanese female staff member who was meticulous in her service, spoke Chinese, and had a particularly radiant smile – the slightly plump one. Superb!"
