"This hotel has the convenience of a newer and modern accommodation but the rooms keep a little bit of the traditional ”ryokan” feel to them, which I found wonderful. "I stayed at my maternal grave.
There was dinner and breakfast, but both were delicious.
However, the amount is quite large, so those who eat less may not be able to eat it.
The building is old and there are many insects outside because the mountain is close, but it did not come into the room.
Because Niigata was a hot day, the air conditioning was not effective 々, and the common parts such as the corridor were quite hot because there was no air conditioning.
Instead, I'm grateful that you can always put hot springs in.
It was said that there was a possibility that there was a cat, but this time I couldn't meet it because I was bad luck."

The hot spring's users rating is 4.9! There are 2 mixed bathing open-air baths! This hotel is proud of its hot spring water which is 100% flowing from the source.
"I chose it with rice and source hanging water in Uonuma.
Anyway, the hot water was good. The hot springs that you can enter while cooling in the open air are exceptional. My skin became chewy and I was happy with the smoothness.
The building is old but the interior is clean and I like it with fashionable furniture. I also like the service between reasonable distances. The rice for dinner was as good as expected and delicious. However, the set meal was fried meat and fish and fried fish oyster set meal, but it was heavy for me. But all the side dishes were delicious with 4! I thought that there was an attractive okazu in the single item, and if there was a set of rice miso soup side dishes, I could assemble my favorite dinner with a single item 〜.
It was a nice inn where you can see the rice fields after harvesting and the autumn mountains 々. The heron was taking a rest on the roof."

I came here during summer for Fuji Rock. In all honesty, it’s alright, the room is clean & the beds were comfortable, aircon works. Don’t expect much from the room, as there’s only 1 power socket in the room, so we had to share. It’s really just for sleeping.
The shower is an open bathroom common in Japan & shared toilet situation, so just take note for travellers who aren’t comfortable for that kind of thing. But the good thing is that the shower area was clean, water is hot & great. Towels are provided although it’s a really small and thin one.
There’s a free large area for parking near the place so that’s good. I’d think it would be great for winter as it’s right next to the gondola, but we didn’t experience that.

Keiko was a lovely host. She was super friendly and welcoming to the area. She was available for any questions we had and was also able to provide a freshly cooked breakfast/dinner at a very small cost. There was free parking behind the accommodation which was great as we had our own entry/exit after hours.
The room was spacious, but while the heating wasn't very strong, the bedding was extremely warm and comfortable.
Would be more than happy to stay here again any time we're in the area!

JINGA 120-year-old shop with 150-year-old bonsai-like old trees in the backyard~ The condition of the house can be imagined. The floor will creak and creak. If you sleep lightly, you should go to a big hotel, but if you die of sleep, maybe I won’t mind ´∀`, but the degree of satisfaction varies from person to person and will not be influenced by the accommodation~
The toilet is clean and tidy with an electric toilet lid, which should be newly renovated. The toilets and bathrooms are shared. The boss is very nice and talkative. Behind the house is Lake Kamo. He also took us to feed the seagulls and swans. Those who need a car will drive them to the car rental office. It's a 7 or 8 minute walk from Ryotsu Port. It's easy to find.
In a tatami room, there are two-layer mattresses for sleeping. Sometimes the quilt will be delivered later to help the guests make the bed. If the room is large, it may be put in advance.

I really enjoyed my stay! The host was super friendly and made the whole experience even better. The place is about a 15-minute drive from the city center, so it’s not right in the middle of things, but the amazing view totally makes up for it. It’s such a nice spot to chill and take in the scenery. Plus, the WiFi was really fast, which was a big win for me. Would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed the food there. Our host and hostess were very courteous and friendly. I needed to do our laundry after a week of traveling and they showed me how to operate the washer. If you plan to visit that region, do not miss out this place to stay!
