2-Star Hotels in Emilia-Romagna, Italy

"An easy walk from the Bologna Centrale train station. Kind of a deserted street, had hoped to buy some food on my way there but ended up buying food there - the food was good, but it felt overpriced for sure. Rooms were very clean and comfortable - my daughter and I had a private room and bathroom, and it was great. My only minor complaint is that I found the pillows uncomfortable. But that might be more of a personal issue than anything else."

"I like this hotel very much, I stay for the second time and my mother booked. Excellent price for such location. From the balcony you can see the sea, it is across the road. Shops and restaurants nearby. Very clean, all fresh, good bathroom room. I'll come again."

"In the academically rich city of Bologna, this hostel far exceeded my expectations. The location is superb, within walking distance to the Old Town, the Two Towers, Piazza Maggiore, and the University of Bologna. It's also very convenient for reaching the central train station, making it perfect for city sightseeing and day trips to nearby Modena and Ravenna. The dorm rooms are clean and fresh, with each bunk bed featuring a privacy curtain, individual charging socket, and ample locker space. The communal bathrooms are well-maintained with stable and abundant hot water. The staff are warm and friendly, knowledgeable about local cuisine and attractions, and patiently recommend authentic restaurants and sightseeing routes. The common areas have a relaxed and lively atmosphere, where you can meet young backpackers from all over the world and share travel stories. The communal kitchen is well-equipped for simple cooking. Overall, it's safe, comfortable, and offers outstanding value for money. Whether for a short layover or an in-depth exploration of Bologna, it's an excellent base for backpackers. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Bologna. Highly recommended!"

"The room was clean and the atmosphere was cozy. The off-season price was incredibly cheap and great value. While other hotels nearby were closed, the staff at this hotel were exceptionally welcoming. Even though there were few customers, they still prepared a hearty breakfast, which we found very satisfying. The only downside was its proximity to the train tracks, so we could hear trains while sleeping. However, considering the price, it was excellent value and highly recommended."

"Excellent location, clean and comfortable room and friendly and available staff, excellent breakfast. I would surely advise you!"

"The hostel provides you with the bare necessities, such as a comfortable bed, a spacious room and locker including a lock, and a small bedlight and socket. Unfortunately, that is also literally it and nothing more. There are no curtains for the beds. The bathroom is super weirdly laid out; there is a bathroom with shower, the only toilet and a sink behind a door; then in front of that, there is another sink and a shower. WITH NO DOOR. Making this shower literally unusable. There are two light switches in the bathroom, one that turns on the light in the back bathroom (behind the door) AND a light for the front sink. This means that, if people are sleeping in the bed next to the bathroom, there is literally light shining directly on their face and all the sounds. A problem easily solved by adding a door and curtains on the beds. The bathrooms didn’t have hand soap (they were empty) or any shower amenities (no shower gel). You have to pay if you want a towel, and you also have to make your own bed. There is also a lot of noise from the neighbours, what seems like a student accommodation. At this kind of price range, the level of amenities is terribly disappointing and could be easily solved. I have stayed in hostels all over the world and sadly this one was just one of two options in Bologna, so not much choice. There are really a lot of simple improvements possible that would have made it worth it, but I really cannot say this is value for money at all."

"The hotel is located in a great location, 7 minutes walk from the station. It is in acceptable conditions, the room is a little more clean than the entrance and the bathroom. The clothes are clean. Perhaps the soap kit is too small, that between shower and hand washing is not enough. Great for anyone staying for 1-2 nights"

"This hotel is good to stay in. Be sure to check in before 11pm, otherwise it will be very troublesome to check in. Don't expect breakfast, it's suitable for E people to chat together. Bronia is a beautiful city, I recommend you to experience it."

"It is located in a very quiet area with so many free parkings but you get quickly everywhere, very comfortable. The structure is cleaned the comfortable rooms quite modern furnishings , generous and acceptable bathroom air conditioner and windscreen ceiling excellent new windows that isolates from external noise, rail in the neighborhood does not feel. Reports price quality absolutely advantageous The only note that I feel is signalling the low insonorization of the indoor door"
