"I'm not a frequent hostel-goer, but my stay here was less than impressive despite the high praise it often receives. The 11-person dorm felt cramped, featuring creaky wooden beds placed too closely together. The bedding and air quality left much to be desired. On the plus side, the facilities were decent and relatively clean, including a bar area that seemed underutilized both by guests and outsiders. Considering the £20 per night price tag, there are plenty of other options in Zagreb that offer a better value for the same cost"

"The front desk staff are available 24 hours here, and you leave your key with them when you go out. The hotel staff were all very pleasant and efficient, making for a smooth and comfortable stay. The room was practical and had plenty of hangers. You're expected to put the duvet cover on yourself. Both the shared toilets and showers were clean. I stayed in May, and the weather was perfect, but there's no air conditioning in the room, so it might get hot in the middle of summer. In May, the room was lovely and bright with plenty of sunshine! The lobby has vending machines, a coffee maker, and lockers, making it a nice space to relax in."

"I didn't know the PIN code to enter the hotel, but I contacted the hotel and a staff member came and I was able to enter without any problems. The hotel staff were very friendly and explained everything carefully. There was a kitchen so it seemed like I could cook, and I was told I could use the dishes freely. Coffee, tea, and sugar were also available for free. The room was cute and relaxing, and the toilet and shower were clean, which was great. I was able to stay with peace of mind!"

"Great surprise for us and very good value for money! Staff was super nice and helpful, took 5 mins to go through the map and recommended places to go. Room is compact but is everything you need - it looks so new and clean assuming it has just been renovated. Shower temperature was good for summer but might not be warm enough in winter if don’t turn on the heater. Very big desk if that’s useful for you. 15 mins walk from the train station and nearest shopping mall, and another 15 mins walk to reach city centre. Free parking in front of the hotel. "

I highly recommend Histrl Bureau in Zagreb Croatia..facility is alright, but most importantly, the front office people or the receptionists are the best, considerate, humanitarian, kind, & caring receptionists, namely; Lana, Paul, & Katerina. The hotel is in a great location. We arrived in Zagreb at 10 PM, but we were able to check in thanks to the 24-hour front desk service, and the staff were very friendly. However, the hotel layout is a bit complex, so you need to pay close attention to the signs, and the staff will also explain where your room is located again.

There's a kitchen, and a supermarket nearby. The room's power only works when a key card is inserted, so be aware that your devices might not charge if you're not careful. (Without the key card, all the lights in the room turn off.) This system should really be changed. There's a large locker and a shower-toilet in the room. It smelled nice too.
However, there are no curtains and nowhere to hang clothes.

Great surprise for us and very good value for money! Staff was super nice and helpful, took 5 mins to go through the map and recommended places to go. Room is compact but is everything you need - it looks so new and clean assuming it has just been renovated. The location is very convenient because it is very close to each tourist spot.
Because it was a single room, the bed was able to be used comfortably, but the wall was very thin, so I was a little worried that I could hear the voice of the corridor and other rooms. Moreover, the staff is not always stationed, and it is not connected even if it calls the telephone number for the contact many times
I was only worried that the entrance of the hotel was quite difficult to understand and it took time to check in the hotel.
