"From the entrance there are stairs down to reception. Check-in was fast, required a written signature. Receptionist was polite and gave us easy directions to our room and the exits. We got a ground floor room which was up a flight of stairs since reception is in the basement. Vending machines were available in reception. Room door used a physical key lock. Room was clean, minus a few deep stains in the carpet and screw holes in the bathroom from previous fittings. Bathroom was spotless, hot shower with great water pressure (almost too much haha). The double bed was okay; duvet, sheets and pillows were comfortable but the mattress was a bit bumpy. Bring ear plugs! Doors in the corridor slammed quite loud as people were passing through in the morning. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Price for the room felt a little high at £62 for 1 night, but you're paying for the location. There was a Q-Park car park literally across the road (plus a Tesco and Home Bargains), the hotel is surrounded by bars and venues in Ropewalks, and it's a 10-min walk from Lime Street train station and Liverpool ONE."

"Arrived early to see if we could put bags inside, lovely man told us to go ahead and have them room ! Again next morning the cleaning man was so nice he said have a lie in no rush ! Spotless and so friendly"

"Fabulous couple my Freind was really poorly in the morning they were so helpful in helping me get him down the stairs and helping him into the car I can not thank them enough Stayed a few times here and the room was great with a terrace onto the garden so ideal for us with my 2 grandchildren and to have a coffee in the morning outside Will always pick this hotel on vacation to Southport Thank you again to the owners for all your help and support today Plus very grateful for changing my room to the garden room as well 100% given for this hotel and the owners 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏"

"Our stay at Cozy Place Apartments couldn’t have been more perfect. We can’t thank Julie and Paul enough, they went above and beyond. The apartment was immaculately clean, the choice of snacks and breakfast were amazing and the bed was so comfortable. We also used Tony’s Taxi, (whose number is in the kitchen!) and he was just a pure gentleman. Check in was straight forward and close to the centre. Cozy Place Apartments deserves more than a 10* rating. This will be our only choice for future trips to Liverpool. Thank you SO much."

"Location is great 👍🏼 but room was tired and needs refurbishing, Huge hole in bathroom door where it looks like someone punched it, hotel tried filling it in with filler, looks awful, shower is good 👍🏼 cobwebs everywhere, didn’t really want to have a cup of tea with the kettle provided as it wasn’t very clean. Wall lights have never had a polish and duster near them, and net curtains on window ripped and dirty. Carpet throughout the hotel looked as though its seen better days. Service was ok, for a mid week stay I thought it was quite noisy later on in evening with doors banging etc. Bed was hard and pillows were flat, felt abit nippy so had the heating on most of the night. Probably won’t stay here again unless they have a refurbishment."

"The six-bed female room is very large, with a bathroom and shower room, which is very convenient. However, there is little traffic on the roadside, which is acceptable. The locker in the room is quite large, remember to bring your own lock."

"Great budget friendly hotel in the centre of everything. Comfortable room. Cooked English breakfast to die for. My compliments to the chef. Room replenished with towels, toiletries, tea, coffee & biscuits daily."

"This was one of the worst hotel rooms we have ever stayed in. When we arrived, we were greeted by a pleasant front desk clerk. The lobby has a lot of character in keeping with the Titanic theme and the pictures of the rooms had the same theme. We arrived at our room (fourth floor #46) located on a dark hallway that was being painted. The room was large and also had some plush features like the curtains, furniture, chandelier and wallpaper. Unfortunately, that's where the positives ended. Our room was very hot, with no ventilation and one small fan. The desk clerk offered to bring a second fan when we requested a hair dryer, but the second fan never arrived. The windows could not be opened even a crack ”due to safety reasons”. The room was sweltering and sleeping was extremely uncomfortable. In addition, the carpet was very dirty, there was mold on the wall above the bathtub and the sink, the lights beside the beds needed to be replaced, and the towel rack was missing from the wall. There was a small kitchen which was nice, but it was missing the basics (glassware, silverware, plates) and one of the drawers was missing its front. In short, the room was in bad shape and we are very surprised they would host anyone in that room. In the lobby, there was a young man sitting at the Concierge desk and when we asked him for directions, he said he was security and had no idea. He could not have been less interested and barely looked up from his phone. Apparently, the rooftop bar is nice, but we did not go there. We have stayed in a lot of hotels and are pretty easy going when it comes to our expectations. This hotel has so much potential, but the experience was a huge disappointment and we would not stay there again and cannot recommend anyone stay there."
