Excellent location, especially with a countdown concert nearby. Located in a walking area so need to walk 100-200m to the closest dropoff points for ride hailing. Take note some access routes to the area may be closed during countdown periods.

It is in the middle of the town, very near to everything! Especially for Muslim, it is nearby Shuncheng mosque and a street full of halal food! Very very recommended. If you are wondering about bidet, yes you are right. No bidet unfortunately. But at least they have free washing machine/dryer and iron! If you are waiting for a midnight flight, you can check out at noon, have lunch at the halal stores nearby Shuncheng mosque and pray there. Then you will have more than enough time to stroll around Kunming Old Street which is a few metres away!

Very conveniently located near to the Kunming Railway Station. Took me only 5 mins to reach after coming back from Dali. The room is clean, comfortable and has all the essential things u need. It’s super high tech with voice control for most of the electronics. One extra plus point is also the check out time of 2pm. There are many choices of food at level one of the building and food is really nice. Metro stations are abt 10mins walk away.

For Malaysians, I highly recommended to stay at this hotel!! Very near to halal restaurant. Most importantly, the owner very very very helpful in order suggesting the place to go. She even contact the place I want to go even though on trip.com/website mentioned that day closed. Luckily, the owner directly call the place and confirmed the place was open on that day since language barrier was one of big challenging if us want to call by ourself. I am so thankful to the owner. She even got us taxi/driver to go our place since the location has no english name. If have 100 stars, I definitely give her 100 stars because of her great & warmer hospitality 🥹 This hotel also near to Caicun Wharf one of most attractive place in Dali. Easier to book didi to go anywhere! And this hotel has heater, very important when winter season!

Everything is perfect! Easy access location, friendly staff, walking distance to Old town, and Didi is always ready infront of the hotel. We are happy and definitely will come back here if we travel to Kunming again.

The hotel is conveniently located near the Kunming Railway Station. It’s just 5 mins walk away from the North Entrance. It’s is also abut 10mins walk away from 2 metro stations of Line 2&1. There are a lot of restaurants at the level one of the hotel and food are great. There is also a huge supermarket, ShengSiong at level 1. Those travelers from Singapore will be very familiar with ShengSiong. I reached the hotel at 8am and they were kind enough to let me check in. The room is super big, clean, and with very nice city view. Couldn’t have asked for a better room. Will definitely stay there again.

The location was great. We could walk in one minute from the northern railway station. There are many restaurants and shops nearby. The room was clean and very comfortable for two people. We had all the necessities we needed and wanted. The staff was very kind and the checkin was easy.

If staying in a typical Chinese ”village” surroundings doesn't bother you, this hotel is perfect for an overnight stay at a low cost! Not very far from the Airport by car, the hotel offers free pick-up and drop-off services! The exterior looks nothing great, but the rooms are really clean and offers all the necessary amenities with a tech savvy touch (smart toilet and LED mirror), which is great for this range of price... The hotel also has a restaurant or you can go outside to try some local delicacies!

Kunming has so much to offer, and I only wish we had more time to explore everything this vibrant city has in store. Our stay at this hotel was pleasant and convenient, making it a great base for our short trip. The hotel is tucked away in a back alley street, which gives it a quiet and somewhat hidden charm. Despite this, it’s conveniently located within walking distance from the metro station and Nanping Pedestrian Street, making it easy to get around and explore the city’s highlights. While the room is small, it’s cozy enough to be comfortable and provided everything we needed for a restful stay. It’s a great choice for those looking for a convenient and affordable place to stay while exploring Kunming. I’d love to come back and spend more time in Kunming to fully experience everything the city has to offer!

I found this to be an excellent stay on my trip. The location is superb, being only a stones throw from the North Gate of Lijiang Ancient City. The room was nice with a great walk-in shower and heated-seat toilet; the bed was large and comfortable—great for a tall traveller such as myself! And the staff were both friendly and generous with their time: they helped me on several occasions to get around the area, including the Tiger Leaping Gorge which, without their help, I may have missed my connecting bus to the trek. I highly recommend this place to others looking to stay in Lijiang. The staff are the highlight and I am grateful for their assistance during my stay.

The room was very cozy and comfortable but what impressed us the most was the warm service. Qin ge 秦哥 gave us great recommendations on where to go and assisted us with car pool arrangements to and back from Tiger Leaping Gorge. Some highlights of our trip were all thanks to this place. We happened to join the English speaking corner on Saturday night where we met the lovely owner Linda and chatted with fellow guests. On another night, the staff also prepared a generous 腊排 (cured ribs) steamboat for us after we revealed that we wanted to try it. The location is a short drive away from the old town, which we preferred for a quieter environment. The rooftop cafe with a fantastic view of the snow mountain quickly put us in a festive and vacation mood. The shower water is hot and the water pressure is good. The toilet doesn't have a shower screen, but this wasn't a problem as the water dried quickly. A scraper was provided and the ventilator is very strong.

A small homestay located in the heart of the old town. There are enough shops and restaurants nearby. It's about a 10 minute walk to both the north gate and the south gate. Keep in mind if you have heavy luggage you would need to drag it around the cobblestone streets because no vehicle can reach the place. The service of the owner alone makes me rate this place 5/5 stars already. It didn't matter how many questions I asked, everytime he helped me out. If you are a solo traveller or don't speak any word of Mandarin then this is a great place to stay, the owner will make sure you don't get lost. While the service was perfect and couldn't be any better there are some negative things worth mentioning. First of all, the soundproofing is really bad. The room's door is full of holes and gaps so you can hear everything that is happening outside. Moreover, you better make sure you don't have any upstairs neighbours because you can hear everything what they do as well: moving around on the wooden floor, flushing the toilet, opening the tap, taking a shower. Second, talking about showers, the shower in the room takes quite some time to heat up (similar to most hotels in China) but the more annoying part is that its impossible to get the right temperature for the shower: its either way too hot or cold. Lastly, the curtains were full of disgusting stains and didn't block out all the light so I recommend just getting them replaced. All in all, this place has some positives and some negatives. Decide for yourself if you want to stay here. In my opinion, despite the negatives, I would definitely stay here again and recommend you to do the same.

We stayed here for 2 nights after coming back from our climb. 1. We got a larger room this time. Highly recommend the deluxe room which is more spacious. 2. The hotel has a washing machine free for guests to use. 3. We got discounted tickets to the lijiang impressions show from the hotel lady boss and the boss walked us out all the way to the bus stop to get to the show. Very hospitable and tbh with the savings you get from the tickets you can upgrade your stay to the deluxe room. 4. Location - super convenient as always. 10 mins to the lijiang impressions show, 10 mins to shu he old town, 20 mins to train station by cab. 5. The hotel also helped us engage on call masseurs. Really good massage after a long day of sight seeing without having to leave your room! 6. Oh and there is a night market really close by the hotel. Lots of street food there!! Highly recommended! Really great place to stay in lijiang. 超好的！客栈非常干净也有洗衣机可以随意用。客栈老板和老板娘也都非常热情。

As soon as we arrived we had problems with google maps and we couldn't find the structure. A shopkeeper called the hotel and they came to pick us up. The 9 days spent were fabulous. They helped us in any way and we were able to visit the surroundings and other cities thanks to their advice. Always available and very nice. The structure is really very suggestive. Near the night market and the historic center. Those who arrive by bus are better to take a taxi and get off at the night market where the structure is about 100 meters away

I had a fantastic stay at this cozy guesthouse. The owner, Gesang, speaks English very well (which is great to any traveller who does not know Chinese), and is very caring, friendly, and ready to help in the planning of your activities. If she has free time, she can go with you around the Old Town, having the knowledge of a local tour guide. The rooms are large and very clean. I read a couple of comments about having to climb up a hill to the guesthouse. It is just a few steps, and a bit if exercise always helps! You'll get rewarded with a beautiful view of Lijiang. Will definitely stay here whenever I am back!

Great hostel. Comfortable beds with electric heated blanket, curtains, plugs. Good hot shower, place for drying clothes on the roof. Around 2 km from the old town. Quiet neighborhood.

The hotel is only 20meters away from the road so it’s not that far to bring your luggages but do note that it’s going uphill. However the owners are really nice, they help us to carry our luggages when we arrive & also when we leave so no worries about that. I texted the owner on wechat before I arrive & he helped me to book the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain tour, also gave us a lot of advices. Both guys are really nice & always have a chat with us whenever they see us. The room is also really spacious, we had enough space for our 4 big luggages. When the weather is good, you can see the snow mountain from the room!

The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I had one of the best night’s sleep in ages. I loved the attention to detail, from the quality linens to the thoughtful amenities provided. The hotel’s facilities were outstanding. I enjoyed the outdoor which was relaxing and never too crowded. What truly made my stay memorable was the exceptional service. Every staff member I encountered was friendly, attentive, and genuinely interested in making sure I was having a great time. They offered fantastic recommendations for local attractions and even helped arrange transportation, making my stay seamless and stress-free. The location of the hotel was also perfect – close enough to all the main attractions, yet quiet and peaceful, allowing for a relaxing retreat after a day of sightseeing. Overall, I highly recommend Juhe Inn or Juge Guesthouse to anyone looking for a luxurious and welcoming place to stay. I can’t wait to return and experience their wonderful hospitality again!

Just amazing. This doesn’t need a big review because the experience speaks for itself. I am an English traveller in China and I found this to be one of, if not the, most pleasant stay I have had on my own. The room is huge, more than enough for 2 people. The amenities are clean and changed daily. Tea is provided—great for fans of Yunnan hot drinks. But the really special part is the host: Joy and her family are wonderful people! Helpful. Kind. Attentive. And great fun to speak with and be around. I am very happy I chose to stay here. The Jin Bi Ya Yuan is THE place to stay in Dali. I’ll be coming again.

We booked a family room (at 4th floor) and stayed for 2 nights. Note that there’s no lift in the hotel. The staff was very helpful as he helped carry our luggages to our room. The room was spacious and clean and has all the necessities.The hotel location is quite close to the old town, walking distance only. We arrived at hotel quite early and the staff let us checked in earlier than the check-in time. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here!

I felt very welcome in this hotel, everyone was so nice, and even translated everything in my language. My room was beautiful, cosy, with a lot of light and a wonderful mattress. I had a kettle for my morning tea and everything necessary in the bathroom, including a hairdryer. It's 3 minutes walking from the train station, and also from the bus stations where you can take bus 8 for old Dali and other buses for the other side of gorgeous Erhai lake. There are a lot of restaurants nearby. I recommend it 100%＞

I stayed in the dormitory (6 people) who was cleaned every day. Privacy guarantee with thick curtains. There is a garden with a ping pong table, and also a rooftop. I recommend this hostel. Lockers would be fine for safety. But there is storage for the bags and belonging. That's a nice touch.

Location: it should be really close to the train station. But there are massive construction in the station, that upon exiting the station,we have to first cross the bridge, walk straight and then cross back again. They provide lift and elevator though. From hotel to departing checkpoint only take 3 minutes. Close to bus terminal (which is opposite the train station), where we took bus to Dali old town, and to Lixiangbang/Santorini style resort. There is a convenience store nextdoor that sells even jigsaw puzzle 😁. Room: we need to turn on the bathroom exhaust fan once the neighbors start smoking, otherwise the cigarettes smell came through (ventilation system I guess). Breakfast: fulfilling enough cos most are carbs food and vegetables, there are eggs though. Amenities: complete as stated in hotel's description.

We stayed 4 days and 3 nights in this hotel, which has a perfect location in Dali, just a stone's throw from the night market and restaurants. Our room was really beautiful, very spacious, very clean, and quiet. The hosts welcomed us very warmly, they were extremely kind and smiling. They even organized a day trip for us with a guide and transportation included, at a very low price. They were very efficient, accommodating, and helpful. We had an excellent stay at this hotel and we recommend it 100% !!! Don’t hesitate at all !!! ✨✨✨

The front desk staff are friendly and eager to provide information. The location is in the center of the business district, which is convenient for shopping. Here you can chat with many friends and get their experiences. The service staff are also willing to help solve problems. However, if you stay in a private room, it will be easier if there is a lounge upstairs. It smells like smoke and is noisy. It is suitable for a room with multiple people and is cost-effective. The electricity and hot water systems happened to be unstable during those few days. This is the only drawback.

I had a great stay at Manba (慢吧客栈). I found this hostel on trip.com and decided to book. I really enjoyed it! The boss and staff were very nice and went out of their way to give me recommendations and help me with anything I needed. They were also very patient with my poor Chinese. The other guests were talkative and open minded. Two of them invited me to ride around the lake together on ebikes. It was a lot of fun. The hostel is quite quiet and peaceful so it's not incredibly social. I think many people are staying there long term (couple months or longer). I highly recommend this hostel! 我在慢吧客栈住得很愉快！我在trip.com上找到了这家旅馆并决定预订。我真的很喜欢它！老板和工作人员都非常友善，竭尽全力为我提供建议并帮助我解决我需要的任何事情。他们对我可怜的中文也很有耐心。其他客人都很健谈，思想也很开放。其中两个邀请我一起骑电动自行车环湖骑行。这很有趣。旅馆非常安静、平和。我强烈推荐！

I stayed here with my family. The room was very quiet. The environment was good. The service was very good. The price/performance ratio was very high. The sun in the lobby was also very comfortable. I will come again next time if I have the chance.
