This hotel makes a great place to kick back and relax after a long day of sightseeing. This Xining hotel provides parking on site. "I stayed in a private bed room this time, not a dormitory. The room was very clean, with no strange smells, and the bathroom and shower were also spotless, with no mold issues.
I was on the third floor. It's worth noting that smoking is allowed in this building. Someone was smoking in the lobby on the first floor, and the smoke would drift up the hallway. Even with the window open and the exhaust fan on, the smell of smoke from the hallway and neighboring rooms would sometimes seep into my room through the gap under the door.
The soundproofing of the room was also just average, which was a bit of a shame. Closing the window and turning off the exhaust fan significantly reduced the smoke smell.
I later bought masking tape from a nearby stationery shop and sealed the gaps around my door every night, which worked very well.
It seems that Gansu and Qinghai are generally more tolerant of smoking compared to other places.
Overall, though, the room was very clean and odorless, and I slept well at night. It was a good stay overall."

Hanting Hotel's location is super convenient; it's only a two-kilometer ride by ride-hailing service to the night market, where there are tons of food options. The hotel facilities are complete, clean, and hygienic. The customer service staff are friendly and polite, and the rooms are very comfortable. It offers great value for money and is highly recommended."

"I booked a king-sized bed room, but when I arrived at the hotel, I was asked if a twin room would be okay. I said no. My reservation clearly stated a room away from the elevator and quiet, but they assigned me a room right next to the elevator, which was really frustrating. The hotel environment itself was fine, though."

"Easy to find and super convenient location with great transport links! The area has so much character and plenty of food options. The front desk staff, especially the lady who checked me in, was incredibly warm and efficient. She had such a great attitude! The room was clean and hygienic, with a really cozy atmosphere. The bedding was comfortable, and all the toiletries were provided. Excellent value for money! This will definitely be my go-to place for future trips. A good night's rest here truly made my whole trip more enjoyable and happy!"

Facilities: The ingredients are beautifully colored, a vibrant red, and the flavor is rich but not greasy—it's a very authentic restaurant.
The ambiance is fantastic; it's the perfect choice for gatherings with family and friends or company team-building events. 💓 I absolutely love this hidden gem of a restaurant! Xining is a fantastic, vibrant city, and my biggest regret is not staying longer; it deserves way more time than just a quick transit stop thanks to its incredible food scene, night markets, and laid-back vibe. During my visit, I stayed at LETE Hostel, which serves as a solid, character-rich base for exploring the region. The top-floor communal space has real history and soul, beautifully flooded with sunlight, packed with green plants, a massive library, and even three cute resident birds. The ladies at the front desk are incredibly kind-hearted and welcoming, always doing their best to help out. Location-wise, it’s perfect - super convenient for the night markets, local food stalls, and bus stops, plus they offer safe bike storage for cyclists. For the price of a private room, the value and hospitality here are unbeatable, and I would absolutely stay again - and next time, I’ll be giving Xining the full week it deserves.

Guest UserThe hotel we checked into this time was quite unexpected. As soon as we walked to the door with our suitcases, a handsome staff member came to pick us up. I was stunned. It turned out that he was watching us take our suitcases to help us carry our luggage! 😄😄😄
Checking in at the front desk was very fast. It took only a minute or two to complete the check-in. The service attitude was also very good. The little brother kept smiling and helped us carry our luggage throughout the process. I was very touched.
The room is also good. Disposable towels, toilet mats and mineral water are provided as gifts. For more than 100 yuan, so many cleaning supplies are given away. What a conscientious business!
Room hygiene: Very clean, including bedding, sink, and bathroom. Although there is no elevator, it gave us a warmer feeling!

- The hotel was a 10 minute walk away from Dongguan mosque and the Xiananguan market
- Looks fairly new with decent facilities
Bad:
- I saw a tiny cockroach in my room 5 minutes after checking in.
- There was also a strong smell of cigarette smoke throughout my first day in the hotel. The staff that came to investigate claimed it was the cleaning agents that they use 🤷. He did try to help by spraying some cleaning agent around the room though.
- There is some ventilation vent (which I suspect transmits the cigarette smoke smell between rooms) which also transmits noise from other rooms. I could hear other guests talking loudly at each other in their own rooms past 12am
- there is only 1 washer and 1 dryer. I attempted to use them on three separate occasions and only succeeded in my third time. After washing my clothes, the dryer then took 3 hours to fully dry my clothes. Other guests who wanted to use the dryer would have probably been frustrated.

It's clean, tidy, and has all the services and facilities you could ask for. The cleaning lady was very kind, and the front desk staff was very polite. There were also many enthusiastic travelers. As a Virgo traveler, I am very satisfied! This is a genuine five-star review, not one forced by the owner. We stayed for several days, and upon our first check-in, there were a lot of cigarette butts under the sink. They were still there on the second, third, and fourth days, completely untouched by housekeeping. Also, the two small nightstands and the phone were covered in dust, clearly never wiped. The bed sheets and duvet cover weren't changed from the first day until the third. However, the location is very convenient, with a supermarket and fruit store right outside, and bus stops nearby. But seriously, the cleanliness needs a major improvement, especially since we were traveling with children and seniors who need a good, clean environment.
