Adam was very kind and welcoming. He allowed us to check in early so we could drop off our luggage, and he even helped us carry everything to the room.
The room is small, but comfortable and perfect for two people. Shampoo, body wash, and towels were provided.
There’s a lovely café downstairs, and the coffee was excellent.
Please note that there is a $200 deposit, which must be paid by credit card. The deposit will be refunded within 7 business days.
Out of all the places we stayed over the past few days, this was the most comfortable. Highly recommended! 👍"

"I arrived around midnight, and luckily the check-in desk was open 24 hours, which was convenient. I only stayed for a short time before leaving. The one real benefit is the free shuttle to the Sheraton hotel. However, the place wasn’t very clean, and as you’d expect from an airport hotel, there was a lot of airplane noise."

It was a challenge to bring up the luggage even to the second level. Otherwise a great place in Quebec City and within walking distance to the train station, which is why I chose it."

"We recently stayed at this hotel for 3 days 2 nights. The location is excellent, close to many restaurants and sightseeing points, making it very convenient.
However, the hotel is undergoing renovation, and the strong smell of oil paint was uncomfortable. Better ventilation or scheduling renovations during low occupancy periods could help.
Additionally, there was a lack of communication among the staff. Despite informing them of our stay duration, we were asked a few times if we were checking out on our second day, and a staff member even entered our room without knocking. Improving internal communications and ensuring staff knocking before entering rooms would enhance the guest experience.
Overall, wow, the location is great, addressing this issues would significantly improve the stay."

"On the plus side, this hostel is in a PRIME location. We walked all over Old Quebec and loved it! The AC worked GREAT. The beds were pretty comfy. We were not very happy about the fact that we had booked a room through Trip.com that had a private bath. When we arrived they said that the reservation did not specify that, but I showed them the actual reservation and it DID say we had a private bath. They said there was nothing they could do about it and when I said that since I had PAID for a private bath I should at least get a discount, but they were unwilling to do this either. My travel partner said she heard some other people checking in another day and they had a similar problem with the shared bath, so we are wondering if it's a bait and switch thing with the hotel. We also told them the first morning that the light over the sink in our room was burned out or broken and she said they would have someone check it out when they came in. Nobody ever came. The shared bathroom was okay but could definitely be improved by adding a paper towel holder (there was a roll of paper towels sitting on the shelf for a few days, but eventually it all got used and it was not replaced before we left."

"I was really surprised by this hotel.
The hotel is small and not in the centre but it is well located, you can walk to the centre or take the metro (there’s a station really netas the hotel), and it was a really good value for money.
The staff is nice, speak English and French and were really helpful.
The room was big enough for the 3 of us and had all amenities needed. The view… well, it was for the other rooms so we just kept the curtains closed.
There is a living room with coffee for guests that I liked.
Breakfast was also better than I was expecting and we just got our drink from the lounge and took to the breakfast room. It’s a simple breakfast but had scrambled eggs, fruit, pastries, yogurt, cereal…
They don’t have parking but there’s a car public park 2 minutes away. We left the car there and walked to the old Montreal."

"Quality Inn & Suites Mont-Joli was a very comfortable stay. The Queen room we stayed in was very large and had everything we needed, including a microwave, coffee machine, and mini fridge. We were able to watch movies with a smart TV in the room. The location was right off the highway, and there was a grocery store and restaurants nearby to get food. The free breakfast in the morning was great with fresh waffles that we could make at the breakfast station. I feel that Quality Inn & Suites Mont-Joli is a really good price for what amenities they provide."

ZhangdadageGreat location, comfortable beds, and the common areas are cozy, quiet, and spacious. The kitchen has plenty of seating and tables, and a wide array of cooking utensils. There are backpackers from all over the world, which creates a fantastic atmosphere. Sitting there, whether eating or just browsing on my phone, was incredibly comfortable and relaxing – a feeling I haven't experienced in years. If you're traveling solo to Quebec, this is the best choice.

Wi-Fi was available and worked well.
The room included a refrigerator.
There was a coffee machine, which was convenient.
Air conditioning was available and kept the room comfortable.
Cons:
The property feels a bit old and could use some updates.
In the shower there was nowhere to place soap or toiletries. If you prefer not to drill into the walls, at least a simple adhesive shelf or holder would be a practical solution.
The check-in process is self-service and requires signing a form, but there was no pen provided on the desk. It would be much more convenient to leave a pen for guests so they don’t have to search for one.
Overall, it was a decent stay with the basic essentials in place. The room was functional and comfortable, but a few small practical improvements would make the experience noticeably better.

Guest UserThis hotel has a nice aquatic area featuring both a slides in a hot tub which unfortunately arrived a little bit too late to use but looked a lot of fun and there were quite a few families making use of. The breakfast was a little bit lacking but it was still a reasonable breakfast. Generally cereals yogurt, egg and some breads. The room was Spartan and clean and did not seem powerfully scented but was lightly scented even though I had asked for no scents. It seemed a little bit soft but I still slept well. To its credit, the rooms did seem comparatively spacious and we're well appointed with both a fridge and a microwave within. I thought it was relatively easy to navigate to and from and the area despite being close to the airport was actually not very noisy. Very calm and you can get a very good rest here.

Karen CasinilloOnce you enter the hotel hallway, you would know right away that it's old.
The room was pretty and you would see passers-by from the window. The shower curtain was reasonably clean, not spotless, but acceptable.
the hotel was very close to bus stops, Frontenac, and Dufferin terrace, and almost any destination (in Old Quebec) a tourist would love to see. Breakfast at Sagamite was lovely.
The only issue I had with service was that the mode of payment for this hotel was supposedly 'Pay at the Hotel,' but my card was charged earlier before the check-in. The thing that confused me was that it was under Hotel Maison du General instead of Louisbourg so I thought I was hacked. Anyway, after some Googling and Trip.com customer service emails, we found out it was under Hotel Louisbourg.
Another downside of the service is that there's no active number if u wanna contact the hotel directly. They just have the Sagamite Restaurant on the internet, where recipients there do not know anything at all about the hotel booking once u reach them.

Pros: The rooms are big, clean, comfortable, and have everything you need.
The breakfast is quite abundant and varied; it would only need some boiled eggs, cheese, or another source of protein to be perfect.
The reception staff are friendly and polite.
Cons:
The pet fee is ridiculously high ($40, and they also charge taxes on top of that, which makes no sense). Total = $46. It is the highest pet fee I paid during my trip from Montreal to Calgary. For example, in Ontario, Winnipeg, and Saskatchewan, many motels don’t even charge a pet fee. What some other places do is charge a refundable deposit in case of damages, rather than a non-refundable fee for no particular reason. For this reason, I would not return.
Noise: You can hear absolutely everything from the adjacent rooms. In fact, a couple was arguing quite loudly and aggressively during my stay, including shouting, which affected my sense of safety. Staff members who were nearby at the time, should be vigilant and intervene in this kind of situation.
