our favourite item from their menu goes to their beef balls, which are handmade daily. the texture and taste of these beef balls is unparalleled and cannot compare to those in Singapore. We chose the beef bone soup base and added fish sauce and shacha sauce (both available from the condiments table). the fresh iceberg lettuce were a pleasant surprise as well as it was crunchy and sweet despite being in the soup. on a side note, the beef parts are rich in texture, however u need to dip them in the sauce or order to bring out the unami in them, otherwise they will taste bland.

每次一回到汕头，就想吃一碗热腾腾的牛肉粿条汤，离家不远有这家合意桐坑牛肉粿。在门口就能看到高高挂起的大片牛肚，还有一锅牛骨汤。很多其他地方的粿条汤用的粿条都比较粗，但是这家人用的是桐坑的粿条，纯米制作而且非常的细滑。这样子的粿条不能久泡，泡太久会容易烂掉，用来做炒粿条也非常考功夫，所以上桌就要赶快吃。汤中的牛杂可以自己选择，不太推荐他们家的牛肉丸，但可以试一试他们家的牛肉饼，牛香味浓郁
