First of all, if you want a magical La Jolla, you will be here! We came for lunch and didn&rsquo;t disappoint! On a weekday afternoon there was a 20 minute wait but the service was excellent. The food was fresh and delicious, that&rsquo;s it. We have a variety of sandwich options and they are equally amazing. One downside is that every hour, depending on the wind, you might get a lovely sea lion taste haha. But it is inevitable and definitely not a reason to skip this place! I will be back!

We arrived here at 5 o&#39;clock on Friday, no reservation, hoping for a table. The main restaurant was fully booked so the hostess pointed us to the bar seating area. Fortunately we were able to find a perfect table for the sea on the deck. The view was good, but the food was better. I ordered the burger, one of the best burgers I have ever had. It was the perfect cooked burdock and cheese added to the unique flavor. The fish tortillas ordered by the others on our side, only the good stuff told them. Will definitely come back and hope to try the full menu.
