Went to this place in October 2019. We decided to go up anyways to see the view from above and the guide (a girl who was only 13) took us up until the 'rest area' not far from the ferrata. The hike was challenging, especially when this is not your first destination. There are stairs and rope to hold on to, but the hike was tiring. If you want to go to this place, make sure you go in the morning when it is still cool and make sure that this is your first or only destination.

The view from the 'rest area' was beautiful. You can see Jatiluhur dam and the villages at the bottom. The sky was really dark and it started to rain at that time and there was also thunder in the sky, so we decided to go down.

If you plan to go to this place, make sure that you are fit, because going up via the ferrata is also another challenge. According to those who have tried it, the view is stunning from there. But, if you don't want to try the ferrata, you can always go up until the spot where I went to and you can still get a beautiful view of Jatiluhur and the village.
If you don't want to hike, you can always stay at the bottom and enjoy the beauty of this gigantic andesite rock in front of you.
