Singapore 5 Nights 6 Days Trip Itinerary Enjoying Both City and Relaxation
📌 A 5 nights 6 days itinerary in Singapore enjoying both city travel and relaxation
⏰️ Day 1
Travel by night flight
- Using Korean Air, flight time 5 hours 30 minutes
- Local arrival time: 5:30 AM
⏰️ Day 2 (Light relaxation, accommodation: Shangri-La Rasa Sentosa)
Relaxation > Lunch (Trapizza) > Singapore Cable Car ride and sightseeing > VivoCity exploration > Dinner (Dancing Crab VivoCity branch) > Wings of Time > Night swimming
✔️ Trapizza is located right next to the hotel, making it very accessible and discounted.
✔️ When going to VivoCity, you can use the monorail for free, but since the child wanted to ride the cable car, we took the cable car. It was right next to the hotel, so it was easy to use.
✔️ Dancing Crab was convenient with no waiting, and the crab was full of meat and really delicious. Personally, it was tastier than Jumbo. (Online reservation available)
✔️ I thought Wings of Time was cool in my 20s, but seeing it again was somewhat disappointing.
⏰️ Day 3 (Adventure + Relaxation, accommodation: Shangri-La Rasa Sentosa)
Use Adventure Cove Waterpark and Dolphin Island located on Sentosa Island
It’s a large waterpark where you can experience dolphins (paid) at Dolphin Island inside the facility. After spending the morning to afternoon at the waterpark, in the evening we lightly relaxed by walking from Siloso Beach to Tanjong Beach using the free shuttle.
✔️ Dolphin Island can be used together with the waterpark or aquarium and requires advance reservation.
⏰️ Day 4 (Adventure, accommodation: Shangri-La Rasa Sentosa)
Universal Studios + Ocea Seafood & Grill
✔️ We used the free shuttle operated within Sentosa Island to get to Universal Studios.
✔️ Popular attractions had long lines during the day, but from 1 hour 30 minutes before closing, you could use them almost without waiting.
✔️ A 5-year-old boy could ride some rides, and there were many shows, so it wasn’t boring even after a long time.
✔️ Universal Studios allows re-entry.
✔️ Ocea Seafood & Grill, where we had dinner, is a Michelin-listed restaurant and was very clean.
⏰️ Day 5 (City travel, accommodation: Pan Pacific Singapore)
Duck Tour > Supertree > Marina Bay Sands
✔️ After enjoying the facilities at Shangri-La Rasa until the morning, we moved to the city. (Kids facilities can be used even after checkout)
✔️ For my son who loves rides, we took the 'Duck Tour' to explore Singapore. If you want to see a wider area, try the double-decker bus tour.
✔️ We visited cafes and restaurants in the city and watched the Supertree show in the evening. (Operates at 7:45 PM and 8:45 PM, free)
If you have time, it’s good to visit Gardens by the Bay as well.
✔️ Marina Bay Sands has various food facilities, so we dined there.
✔️ You can also enjoy the fountain show in front of Marina Bay Sands.
(Fountain shows daily at 8 PM, 9 PM, and on Fridays/Saturdays at 10 PM for 15 minutes, free)
⏰️ Day 6 (City adventure + Return)
Zoo visit
✔️ After checkout, we took a taxi to the zoo.
(About 30 minutes, cost about 25,000 KRW)
✔️ The zoo was very hot, humid, and not very hygienic, so it was tough. It’s a place I wouldn’t visit again if I travel. However, feeding the rhinos was a rare experience.
✔️ We used the shower facilities at the hotel before boarding the plane.
(Shower facilities can be used if requested in advance at checkout)
I traveled with my 5-year-old son, doing only 1-2 experiences per day, enjoying city, relaxation, and adventure all together.
There are many other facilities like the Botanic Gardens, luxury shopping malls, museums, and science centers, so it would be great to enjoy those as well.

Me and my friends had wonderful times at Universal Studio Singapore, the tickets are also very convenient and I enjoyed the most. We all are thankful to Trip.con for letting us buying our customized date.
A day at Universal Studios Singapore felt like stepping into a vibrant cinematic dream. Scream on the "Battlestar Galactica" dueling roller coaster, hurtling against the wind, your heart pounding; the next second, you're in the "Transformers" 3D battlefield, the roar of clashing metal and the rush of wind blurring the line between reality and illusion. Drift down a Jurassic-themed raft. The midday sun shines through the spires of the "Far Far Away" fairytale castle, where you fight alongside Shrek against a fire-breathing dragon. Adrenaline and childlike wonder surge together, every turn revealing an endless, magical adventure.
The park has a wide variety of attractions, and the Space Fortress is incredibly thrilling! The Minions area is also very fun. The staff are friendly and helpful, and will gladly assist you with taking photos. Definitely worth a visit!
Although the Singapore Universal Studios is small, it has a lot of content, including the classic Jurassic Drift, the Mummy Dark Ride, the world's first Transformers, the world's tallest double-track roller coaster, the Future Water World show, some small amusement facilities suitable for family play, and an indoor 5D dynamic theater, which can make tourists of all ages have fun. The colorful Minions area, which will open in early 25 years, is even more worth looking forward to. . .
I didn't want to waste time queuing up in the crowds during the summer vacation, so I chose the VIP guided tour service, which I felt was worth it. At 11 o'clock, the tour guide Miss Deng Yao led the team to start the tour. All projects were directly entered through the exit. There were VIP areas for watching performances and interacting with the Minions. There was also 1 hour for lunch. I finished all the projects at 5 o'clock. The young lady's service was thoughtful and enthusiastic. I had a lot of fun. The only regret was that there was no Harry Potter.
Universal Studios is in Sentosa. You need to take the MRT train to get there. You can buy tickets on site. The Universal Studios Singapore is not big. You can visit Sentosa in the morning when the sun is small, play Universal Studios in the afternoon, and play the Skyline Coaster at sunset.
The reason why I gave it five stars is that there was no queue. The longest queue was 20 minutes for Sesame Street, and the rest were 5 minutes... But I didn't dare to do anything. A mummy scared me to death. I didn't try the roller coaster project later, but the APP showed that it was no more than 10 minutes
Walking in Singapore, I came to Universal Studios. Since I was at the door, I went in to take a look. If you go in the afternoon like me, I recommend buying tickets online (cost-effective). The offline price is still the full-day ticket price without discount. The ticket window communicates in English and there is no Chinese service. So in summary, buying tickets online is economical and convenient. You can enter the park by swiping your phone. Although it is not big inside, you still have to queue. It is recommended to go early. The park closes at 7 pm. The surrounding transportation is very convenient, very suitable for family outings. The amusement equipment is similar, but the performances inside (singing and dancing performances, movie special effects) can be seen. Personally, I think the performance is the characteristic of the studio itself, and I like it more.
