Nha Trang Trip
Vinpearl Cable Car
📆【Travel Guide】
Let me explain, my girlfriends and I went during the May Day holiday, we booked a tour (including 2 shopping trips), 3500/person (5 days and 6 nights, four-star hotel), which is a bit more expensive than usual. If possible, I recommend traveling on non-holidays.
A local guide led our small group of 15 people, which consisted of 5 groups, 3 groups of young people and 2 groups of families with children. Everyone was quite nice.
The odd thing was that each of the 5 groups had a different itinerary, with only about 30% overlap in the routes. Many people were on pure leisure trips combined with free time. The guide helped us cancel the shopping trips for convenience, so we also had a pure leisure experience (because my girlfriends and I made it clear we wouldn't shop ).
🚗Transportation Guide:
Pick-up and drop-off service. There are not many tourist attractions in Nha Trang, so the schedule is very relaxed, usually returning to the hotel around 5-6 pm to arrange our own time. (Initially, I did some research in a book and saw something about snatch thieves, which made me afraid to go out. But in reality, there were no such incidents, and there were a lot of people around, so many on motorcycles that it would be impossible to get away if someone tried to rob you) --- But still, I suggest being cautious. Any place with few people can be dangerous, so try to avoid less crowded areas.
When not shopping or on a free itinerary, we usually walked. For taxis, we took the local public taxis (I think they were white, you can confirm with the guide). The advantage is that they are not expensive, but the downside is that they only speak Vietnamese. We solved this problem by using a translator.
🌟Trip Highlights: The main highlight is Nha Trang Beach, which is really nice. Pearl Island is also okay, especially the roller coaster🎢, a must-try. You can control the speed yourself, it's not too thrilling, and even children can play. Other attractions like the Five Fingers Rock are not much different from those in China, but you can still go and see.
💰Average Spending: 5000/person, including food, drinks, and entertainment.
Key point: Asking the guide to add trips directly will cost an extra 100-200. You can DIY your own itinerary.
Currency Exchange: Don't exchange money at the domestic airport or with the tour guide. The exchange rate at the domestic airport is 1:3000, at the Vietnam airport it's 1:3200, locally in Vietnam it's 1:3400, and in gold shops it's 1:3498 (the rate when I went). You can exchange money almost anywhere locally, so try not to exchange in advance.
📌Small Tips:
Don't shop in malls, it's not cheap, and prices can even be higher than in China. However, it's okay to buy from small stalls, especially fruits, which are very cheap. You can almost achieve 'fruit freedom', but many fruits are not allowed in hotels, so you need to eat them outside.
If you want to bring back delicious local specialties, locate the local food markets, the large ones, where you can find good and cheap items.
🧳Pre-trip Preparation: Sunscreen, prepare plenty of it, both physical and chemical types. I got a sun allergy this time. For other things, see what you need.
🏨Hotel Environment: It's okay. The hotel is not big, but it's clean and the breakfast is not bad.

If you're traveling to Nha Trang with kids, you absolutely must visit Vinpearl Land, and the cable car across the sea is a must-do! Sitting on the cable car, you can enjoy panoramic views of the shimmering sea. The park has tons of attractions, and the kids had a blast, not wanting to leave! At night, the castle is brightly lit, and the sea twinkles with stars, creating a truly romantic and beautiful scene.
A trip to Nha Trang, Vietnam isn't complete without experiencing the cable car ride across the sea. Sitting on the cable car, gazing at the boundless ocean, is incredibly relaxing. Under the sunlight, the sea sparkles, and various boats shuttle back and forth—everything is so beautiful. I especially wish time could stand still at that moment!
Vinpearl Resort Cable Car is a 3,311-meter-long cable car line that provides transportation services between Nha Trang City and Vinpearl Resort. The cable car was built by the French company Poma in April 2006 and completed in March 2007. It has seven cable car columns, the tallest of which is about 115 meters. This cable car line is the longest commercial cable car line in Vietnam. You can buy cable car tickets separately or with the theme park ticket Vinpearl Island Pier Address: 6638+R6Q, Cầu Đá, Nha Trang, Khánh Hòa, Vietnam (just show this address when you go to the car)
#Vinpearl VinWonders Nha Trang Pearl Island is one of the must-see attractions in Nha Trang, in my opinion. 1. You can ride the water Ferris wheel on Pearl Island 🎡, 2. You can ride the longest sea cable car in Southeast Asia 🚡, 3300m. (Under maintenance on the day) 3. You can play Alpine-Coaster, a manual roller coaster 🎢, you may not have played it 😁 4. You can see flamingos all over the pond 🦩 5. You can get close to giraffes 🦒 6. You can go to ride the water zipline 7. You can go to Pearl Island to visit the Chinese own beverage store, Mixue Ice City 8. You can go to experience the children's park (suitable for children) This Alpine-coaster project needs to be operated manually in the second half, similar to Disney's Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, but this is the Plus+++ version, a bit thrilling! ! ! The roller coaster rushes down from the top of the mountain in twists and turns, and you can control the speed yourself. I just want to ask you if it is exciting. People drive the roller coaster in the air🎢, and they are afraid of being rear-ended by the back, and they are also afraid of being too fast to catch up with the back in front, hahahaha... If it is not dangerous, you can't play with your phone, otherwise the photos will be full of ghosts crying and wolves howling, and there will be thrilling screams on the mountain, hahahaha... The text description is not even one tenth of the truth🤪 Pearl Island is known as the Little Disney on the Water. Think of it as Disney, but the natural scenery is much better than Disney. After all, it is built on an island. Friends who have time can go and try it₍₍ ᕕ(´◔⌓◔)ᕗ⁾⁾~4.7 stars recommended🫶
Here is the start of the journey to the Vinpearl harbor! The ticket to go with cable cars to Vinpearl harbor costs 200.000 VND (today, but some other periods has a discount - you can check the official website for more info). I and my friends were lucky because there weren't many people and so we quickly purchased our tickets and boarded. We were also alone in the car and this allowed us to enjoy the magnificent panoramic view that the cabin offered throughout the approximately 8-minute journey.
