I don't like the overly solemn Buddha statues in most temples, but I'm relatively more accepting of the "approachable" style of Ji Gong (a legendary Buddhist monk).
Lingyin Temple isn't actually very large, but it's extremely popular with worshippers.
Tourists were chattering and snapping photos all around. I wonder if the monks in picture 3 can truly remain calm and focused, with only scriptures in their eyes and no regard for sentient beings? I wonder if they're sitting here on duty, as punishment, or "practicing" their skills [laughing emoji].

Driving the little cars was so much fun, like playing QQ Speed, hahaha 😂 The rafting was the best, but it was too short—very thrilling!!
The park's attractions are quite fun; a visit would probably take about 3-4 hours.
M32***95My first time climbing the Leifeng Pagoda, I visited. The pagoda has five floors. Each floor offers a historical tour of the pagoda, which you can listen to by scanning a QR code. Each floor offers a different view. From the top, I can enjoy a panoramic view of West Lake, a breathtaking blue sky and white clouds. I can also listen to the bells of the Jingci Temple across the way, marking the evening bells of Nanping, one of the Ten Scenic Spots of West Lake.
