It's worth a visit. The scenery may be beautiful in September and October. I went there in mid-May. It was just planted and not green yet. You can drive to the scenic area by yourself. You can stop and get off the car at the viewing platform. There is not much shopping. There are a few villagers living there selling some specialties, but I really can't understand their speech.
