"One of the best hotels of our stay, a extraordinary apartment and space a fabulous location. What probably does it dessert is that the check in is made in autonomy and that it is not warned when booking but well organized with your key and your name in a safe box in any case until the time of opening of the booking. The hotel is open up to 18:00, there seems to be a Reception on the first floor, but we haven't seen anyone, you are answered by the phone if necessary . , However, forget the Parking which is a priori always full (it is easy to park around and not cheap) but beyond these last details, you can go closed your eyes, it's an excellent price quality ratio!"

"It's alright, about a 10-minute drive from where you can see the penguins. The only downside is that the kitchen utensils are a bit sparse – not even a single knife, just one pair of scissors. I'd suggest the hotel at least provides a knife set. Also, there were only two hangers, which wasn't enough. The bed was quite comfortable. The water pressure was very low, so I didn't even bother showering that day."

"The front desk staff were super friendly! ^_^ The location is really convenient, with food trucks just a 10-minute walk away. The room was well-equipped with both a fan and a heater, and the bathroom was great. I only stayed one night, but overall, it was a very pleasant experience."

Quiet hostel, no unnecessary noise. Everything is quite basic, but perfectly fine for a couple of nights. The room is clean, beds are comfortable, nothing fancy. Common areas are decent. The staff is friendly. The only thing is, you can tell it's a budget option, without any special frills. But if you just need a place to sleep, it's perfectly acceptable.

JulesTClean, tidy, and generally comfortable stay. The room was quite compact, but there was just enough space to store and open large suitcases, and there are heavy drawers under the bed for storage (no lock provided).
The building itself is narrow and compact, with quite a few stairs required to access the kitchen, bathrooms, lounge areas, and some rooms, which may be inconvenient for those with heavy luggage or limited mobility.
Our ground-floor room was directly below the shower units, and with thin walls, noise from water running, footsteps, and street traffic (as it’s centrally located on a main road) was noticeable. Light sleepers may find this disruptive.
Facilities are good, with two shared kitchens (stovetops, toaster, microwave, kettle, fridge, cutlery, and crockery), indoor and balcony seating areas, and a large lounge (TV plays DVDs only). There are multiple shared unisex bathrooms, including single units and a space with two showers and toilets. This may not suit everyone. Cleaned in the morning but gets dirty by end of day. On a positive, there are plenty of bath mats, liquid soap, and a hair dryer are provided.
Laundry is available via QR code payment (around $6 per wash or dry), and on-site parking is offered at $40 per night. Towel available for hire ($4).

The handsome men and beautiful women at the front desk genuinely and sincerely helped guests with their questions and needs. My three-night stay was truly fantastic! The rooftop offers stunning mountain and lake views, and the cozy fireplace makes you feel like you're in a secluded paradise. Getting around is super convenient. After leaving Queenstown Airport, you only need to walk about 100 meters to find the #1 public transport bus. Remember to buy a transport card at the airport bookstore beforehand; it's very convenient and cheap, especially if you're traveling alone or with one other person. One card is all you need. To get to this hotel (Leloo Hotel), take the bus from the airport. After about 20 minutes, get off at Stanley Street, which is a major transport hub, just a 4-minute walk from the hotel. You'll know it's the right stop because it's at the bottom of a big downhill road, with a large park on your right. The bus stops are conveniently divided into A, B, and C sections. Getting to Arrowtown only takes 25 minutes and costs 2.5 New Zealand dollars. There are many popular, Instagrammable shops nearby, like Fergburger. Even if you're vegetarian, don't worry, they all have Chinese menus.

JulesTAt first glance, the place seems lovely and inviting. However, on closer inspection, there are quite a few maintenance issues that need attention. Several lights weren’t working (only about 2 out of 5), the carpet wasn’t as clean as it initially appeared, and there was mould in the shower. There are also signs of wear such as plastering around the sink, and the hairdryer made an unhealthy noise when used. The toilet bolts were loose, which was concerning.
The bathroom lacks an extractor fan, so it becomes very steamy. The shower head is quite small with low pressure. While there is an outdoor area, it doesn’t offer much privacy as the motel is right on the road.
Parking is available on-site, which is a plus, but there are no laundry facilities.
There is a makeshift kitchenette with a toaster, microwave, kettle, fridge, and basic cutlery and crockery. However, it’s not suitable for cooking proper meals, and the lack of a sink makes washing up or even filling the kettle inconvenient.
On the positive side, the location is excellent—right next to a New World supermarket and very central.
Overall, the place is reasonably clean, tidy, and comfortable, but it would benefit from some maintenance.

Nice place with central location of the Oamaru town, near Woolworth supermarket, some nice old-fashion places and beach. Nice to visit and grab photos.
Hotel keeps original decoration you can feel warm with the fireplace and wooden furniture. But the room is clean with modern style.

Really nice looking room and a very good price performance ratio. And you even get a complimentary drink. Room was nice and warm upon arrival. I didnt really understand the self checkin for a second, cause i didnt know the rooms were directly at the parkinglot, where the whiteboards and the name are written. Really easy and useful for a fast checkin and checkout. I would stay there again.

I stayed at the Law Courts Hotel recently, and it was a bit of a mixed experience. The building is very old and hasn’t had much renovation. The bathroom still has those separate hot and cold taps, which are inconvenient, and the carpet looked quite worn and not very clean—it definitely feels like the place could use some updating.
That said, the location is fantastic—right in the heart of Dunedin, so it’s super convenient for getting around. It’s also very affordable, which is a big plus if you’re on a budget. Just keep in mind that being so central means it can be noisy; Saturday night, in particular, was hard to sleep through with all the street noise.
Overall, if you’re after a budget-friendly place in a great location and don’t mind the quirks of an older hotel, it’s worth considering. But if you’re looking for something more modern and comfortable, you might want to look elsewhere.

Guest UserThis villa is great for four people, as splitting the cost makes it more cost-effective. It's not in the center of Queenstown and requires a walk uphill to get there. The room itself felt a bit stuffy. However, there's a washing machine and dryer on the second floor. Overall, it was a really good experience. There's a bus stop right outside the door – don't listen to Google Maps telling you to walk over a kilometer, just cross the road right in front of the hotel! New Zealand is beautiful, and you can even go stargazing a short walk from the hotel. The front desk staff, especially one woman, was also fantastic and very helpful.

The hotel is not new, but the condition is maintained good, it was clean and comfortable, the location is right next to the road, but the noise of the road is not heard. For stopping on the road between the sights - perfect. There is a beautiful restaurant and petrol nearby.
